16.3 Grey mare, 12yrs

Katie is a smart and upstanding horse, a pleasure to have on the yard and an absolute machine on the hunt field!

Katie has spent a Season with the Sandhurst Drag Hunt but has also been hunting and cubbing. She is a phenomenal horse to take out; not strong and has been ridden by both male/female riders

Fantastic with hounds and horses, stands at the meet and jumps anything! Can stay up with the master or in the field

Katie also loves her dressage, she’s well-mannered and has three floaty, balanced paces and will cruise around prelim/novice tests with ease

Has evented previously…

Good to box/shoe etc. and hacks alone or in company

Looking for a dressage/riding club home or would be perfect hunter with potential to be a whips horse

EYE CATCHING ALLROUNDER - POPPY

  • Mare
  • 12 years
  • 14.2 hands

  • Loves to jump
  • Reliable allrounder

Reluctant sale of my very pretty bay mare: Podyke Welsh Poppy, due to going travelling and university in September.

14.2hh Welsh section D; 12 years old. A very good doer; she has never been lame sick or sorry in the 7 years I have had her. Can trace her history back to her breeders. Vaccinations, teeth, back, feet, all up to date.

Poppy has 3 established paces, loves to jump, can jump a course of SJ at 1m very happily, and is bold and brave XC. She has represented my Pony Club in area 8 at championship level, and has taken me from D to B test standard. Hacks well alone or in company, is not spooky in traffic.

She had a handsome foal without complications (details available) with previous owner.

Poppy is a reliable all rounder, she's been out and about doing PC, including camp, competitions and leisure rides since I have had her. She's a really fun, honest Pony and once you have bonded she'll help you out (striding etc). She's also calm at competitions, doesn't get silly in warmup rings etc.

Poppy is a typical Welsh mare and is therefore not a novice's pony, (that being said my mum has hacked her out!) She's suitable for a competant teenager or adult rider.

I am very proud of Poppy and will only sell if I think it's a perfect home for her. Only experienced homes please. PM for details.

Videos and references available on request.

Banjo is a lovely fun all round horse, he is a great hack, safe in open spaces, brilliant in traffic and a pleasurable forward ride. Only being sold due to my change in work and circumstances as I can't give him the time he deserves. I have owned him for 5 years and have thoroughly enjoyed eventing him at 80cms.

We have also done many pleasure endurance rides and he is never strong, but is a forward going ride and a lot of fun.

Has hunted for 2 years in his last home with a 12 year old girl, who also competed him at many pony club events.

Easy to do: box, shoe, dental, clip and he is up to date with his vaccinations. He is happy to live in or out.

Can be tried at his current yard.

Increasing numbers of internet advertisers are receiving emails from bogus buyers, attempting to scam sellers. This tactic is a worldwide problem so we really appreciate our customer keeping us upto date and informed on any suspicious emails that they receive.

**EXAMPLE SCAM ALERT**

Please ignore this email and if you have time report it to Action Fraud- https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/ . For more details of the over payment scam please click HERE

These scams can vary, however emails are often written in broken English and in an over friendly style. Advice from Action Fraud is to cease corresponding and report it via their website https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/.
