Very quiet to ride and handle, Hacks out on his own and in company, very good in the heaviest of traffic. He has been ridden in woodland, open tracks and is the same where ever you take him.

He loves his hacks and will go in the school but still a bit green, He is good to lunge and long rein so i am sure it would not take much to teach him to drive as does not mind what you do with him, not spooky in any way.

Good to handle, He will stand all day to be groomed and cuddled, he falls asleep and loves the attention .

He is bare foot. picks his feet up easily for you. Good to clip.

Flicker, affectionally still known as little man as he came to us at 2 months old along with his mother.

This is a very hard decision to sell but my health as finally beaten me, he ideally will go to a home for life and be loved as much as he is here.

He is passported/chipped, fully vaccinated and wormed up to date, he has never had shoes.

He was sent away at 4 years to be professionally broken in.

He is very easy to do, easy to catch in field always the first down when he see’s you, follows like a little sheep when your poo picking, he loves human interaction.

He will be a blank canvas for someone with all the basic foundations firmly in place, he will school, he has jumped small jumps, he will hack out alone or in company, unfortunately as stated above my physical health wont allow me to make him the finished article.

To summarise he is an adorable little man with a great temperament, his potential is sadly wasted here and he is in danger of becoming a field ornament if I don't make the right decision for both him and me and let someone else takeover and release his full potential.

Sad sale of much loved all rounder, Tommi is 110% in the heaviest of traffic, good to shoe, catch, box, bath, travel. Can be a little sensitive when clipping.

There’s nothing this boy won’t do or hasn’t tried. Good to hack in company or alone, hacks on buckle end, great on farm rides, in open spaces, been on camps. He’s always placed out competing in all disciplines. Has 40 Bd points from our one year of being affiliated.

He’s the most lovey boy to be around on the ground & ridden. He’s easy to do in his stable. Will turn out alone or in company. As much as he’s great fun & easy he is not for a novice. He love being out doing a job & is off your leg he’s no kick along. He needs to go to a 5 star home only

Sally’ is an eye catching mare with a very trainable attitude and lovely personality. She started age 5 in a riding school and had been produced slowly and correctly in a dressage home from BD Prelim to BD Medium.

For the past year, Sally had predominantly been schooled for and competed in British Dressage. She had gone from being quite nervous at her first competitions to confidently and competitively competing at BD medium. She is established in half passes, walk pirouettes, simples changes, counter canter, rein backs, leg yields and all other medium movements. Sally would make the perfect Petplan horse, having gained scores previously of up to 70% at elementary.

Sally is happy to school in either a snaffle or double bridle. She is currently learning her changes and could either continue to move up the levels in dressage or take her career in a new direction.

Sally takes everything in her stride and would be suited to any kind of home, she has been to showjumping shows up to 80cm, cross country schooled over 90cm fences, confident in water and over ditches, hacks happily alone or in company and even enjoys a trip to the gallops and beach.

Sally is great with kids and often has a young inexperienced rider on her on lead rein and behaves perfectly. She is great to lead, groom, bath and load and travels well alone or in company.

Very kind, willing and uncomplicated mare who deserves the best of homes.

Beautiful 5yo full Irish Draught mare. By the Class 1 Sire Killountain Cross (Crosstown Dancer) out of a mare by Mizen Gold.

Standing at a full-up 15.2hh, she makes the perfect ladies hunter/hack/best friend. She is very kind and gentle, stands for hours to be groomed and has impeccable manners. Due to our lack of arena she is green in the school but incredibly willing, hacks alone or in company.

I take her out on my own and she is golden, stands patiently in the trailer and loads every time. She attended the Boxing Day meet and didn’t put a foot wrong. Stood politely with hounds and people wandering around her and paraded down the high street without hotting up or getting silly with the other horses.

She would love to go to someone wanting to enjoy exploring the countryside, going on fun rides etc as this is her favourite thing. Or with further schooling she would make a lovely working hunter/dressage type as really points her toes. I broke her in so know her inside out and can’t say enough good things about her. Sadly with my other horse taking priority and a full time job I don’t have the time and she deserves to be out enjoying herself.

Earlier this year she stood on a stone causing a sole bruise. Because we didn’t know what it was at first (it was a deep one) she saw the vet, and I’m happy to share their reports to say this was all it was. She has since transitioned to hoof boots as a precaution as we have very stoney ground here, and has never looked back (happy to provide these with her).

She’s still a 5yo so no novices. Open to any vetting. Perfect to catch, clip, load, shoe/trim etc. No vices. Please WhatsApp in the first instance, due to my working hours I can’t always take calls.

  • Vinnie is a true allrounder, he would make a lovely hunting horse

Meet Vinnie, a 4-year-old 16.2hh Irish Draught cross gelding with all the quality, temperament, and bone you’d expect from a traditional Irish type. Vinnie is a beautifully put-together bay gelding with a kind, gentle nature and a willing attitude that makes him a joy to handle and ride. He’s the sort of horse that wants to do the right thing and always gives his rider 100%.

Vinnie is well-schooled on the flat, riding in a soft, consistent contact with a light snaffle mouth. He works nicely in all three paces and has a naturally balanced way of going. He’s easy and uncomplicated to ride, with a calm, forgiving temperament that would suit a range of riders—including novices, mother-daughter shares, riding schools, or even trekking centres looking for a safe, steady horse to add to their string.

Vinnie is a true allrounder, he would make a lovely riding club horse. He’s also an extremely honest and genuine jumper. Vinnie has schooled confidently up to 90cm over both coloured poles and cross-country fences. Out on the course, he takes everything in stride—ditches, drains, banks, coffins, water—he jumps it all with a brave and willing heart. He’s the kind of horse that keeps trying, even if the question gets tough, and he never says no. His attitude makes him an ideal candidate for someone looking to hunt this coming season—he’s already hunted twice earlier this year and proved himself to be mannerly, straightforward, and happy to get on with the job. Ideal hunting horse / allrounder.

Vinnie is easy to do in all ways. He’s good to catch, box, shoe, and is safe in traffic. He hacks out happily alone or in company and enjoys being out and about. He has no stable vices, is open to any vetting, and is the kind of horse that’s hard to find—kind, safe, genuine, and with his whole future ahead of him.

Whether you’re looking for a safe partner to enjoy in the school, on the hunting field, or out hacking, Vinnie is ready to go and will settle into any routine with ease. The price includes delivery to your yard in the UK, and we offer an exchange option if you’re not happy.

  • Looking for an all round nice person to love and care for

A loving home offered with a fun and varied life for the horse with hacking, pub rides, groundwork, weekly lessons and riding club activities. Established basics would be great for low level dressage and training clinics. I am an equine massage therapist in my spare time so lots of care will be provided! I have some great instructors to help both ridden work and groundwork.

Ideally looking for:
-14.3 - 16hh MW Stamp (Cobs/Irish Draft/Connie X/ISH types)
- Good to hack in company, alone and in traffic
-Been there and done that type

Lovely airy stable waiting with a window and all year herd turnout plus 24/7 turnout over the summer. Very happy to keep in touch with regular updates and visits should you wish. We have had our retired pony (now 32) for over 20 years and still keep in touch with his previous owner. Looking for my next horse due to sad injury of my loan horse, who is now enjoying his new life in the field.

If you have something suitable I look forward to hearing from you.

Skye

16.1h RID with class 1 Breeding by Scrapman out of a mare by Grosvenor Lad. Beautiful true Irish stamp with a kind non marish attitude.

Snaffle mouth at all times, never strong. She has spent the last year with a capable novice doing all low level activities. Has been to local shows and riding club activities.

Very safe unflappable type that would do a riding school job with a lovely rhythmic canter and great transitions. Ridden on the end of the buckle for the past year but if someone spent time teaching her to go on the bridle she would make the most outstanding dressage horse and definitely belongs in the white boards with her 4 white socks that’s paired with her floaty paces. Equally she would make a wonderful working hunter horse.

She has a very sweet and tidy jump. Adores forest rides and is great in open spaces. Skye would cater for most.

Hacks alone or in company, you can even hack her backwards… (see sales video for reference. She also has got you covered from the rain as she’s happy to carry an umbrella too.)

Skye has a lovely temperament, loves a fuss, has been with a 12yo girl for the past year. Very kind, easy and loving.

Clean limbs and blemish free.

Safe & Steady Cob Mare

Location: Stockport, Cheshire, SK2
Name: Winnie
Breed: Cob
Age: 18 years
Height: 15.3hh
Colour: Black & White
Sex: Mare
Type: All-Rounder / Happy Hacker / Schoolmistress / RDA Suitable
Special Qualities: Weight Carrier, Safe for Nervous Riders, Low Maintenance

The Ultimate Confidence Giver

Winnie is an exceptional 15.2hh cob mare 18yrs young, super fit with absolutely no stiffness or arthritis, 100% fit and health in every way, she requires no supplements or medication, this mate is truly a rare combination of safety, strength, experience, and a heart of gold. She is kind, bold, dependable weight carrier, ideal for a wide range of riders – from complete beginners and nervous adults to more experienced jockeys who prefer a calm and steady ride.

Winnie is beautifully put together and has “been there, done that” in every sense. A calm, considerate and willing mare, she is the definition of safe and steady. She has more “woah” than “go”, making her a perfect mount for riders who want to enjoy their riding at a relaxed pace without compromising on ability or responsiveness.

Ideal for Beginners, RDA, or All-Round Riders

Winnie is currently worked in a very busy riding school environment and she has excelled with every level of rider – from total novices to advanced. She is also a firm favourite for RDA (Riding for the Disabled Association) and special requirements sessions, both under saddle and during stable management and therapy activities.

She has experience in flatwork lessons, both private and group, as well as participating in our in-house low level showjumping and cross-country novice classes and competitions. She is confident over coloured and rustic fences and has a bold, careful jump.

Winnie also loves to hack out and does so safely and calmly. She will happily hack alone or in company and has been exposed to the heaviest, fastest-moving traffic imaginable. She is completely unphased by buses, lorries, farm machinery and all types of vehicles. She remains safe and steady in all environments and does not rush or pull, even in open spaces or on the way home.

Although she is happy to go at a quiet, steady pace, she is also responsive to the leg and has three balanced, steady paces. For more experienced riders, she will work with enthusiasm and energy, always staying calm and sensible.

Manners, Temperament & Handling

Winnie has outstanding ground manners. She stands for hours to be groomed and fussed over, with or without a headcollar or lead rope. She is never marish or clingy, and she’s happy living in or out. In the field, she keeps herself to herself and never causes trouble, whether stabled alone or turned out in a mixed herd.

Winnie has a history of excellent health and has never had laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or any lumps, bumps, or unsoundness. She is currently barefoot with strong, healthy hooves and is equally happy to be shod. She is excellent to catch, great to load and travel, and good with the farrier, vet, and dentist.

She is incredibly low maintenance, requiring no daily work. She can have weeks or even months off and return to ridden work without any fuss. She maintains her condition year-round on a simple diet and is easy to manage in every way.

She passes her annual Licence Inspection, which is the equivalent of a Stage 2 vetting.

A Truly Special Mare

Winnie is a rare gem. She is the perfect choice for someone looking for a calm, dependable, and capable all-rounder. Whether you’re a nervous adult, a beginner rider, someone looking for a safe happy hacker, or a family looking for a versatile and loving horse, Winnie fits the bill perfectly. She is a genuine schoolmistress who provides confidence and enjoyment in every ride and will give her next owner years of pleasure.

Why Is She for Sale?

This is a heartbreaking sale. As part of our regular stock rotation, we give our riding school horses the opportunity to move on to private homes so they can enjoy one-on-one attention and new experiences. Winnie is ready to bring joy to her next rider and deserves the very best home.
