Phenomenal 16.2hh 2018 blue and white Irish (green book, beautifully bred), quality mare, this outstanding stamp will turn heads wherever you go, and this horse will go anywhere and do any job.

This lovely horse has been to training shows, hunter trials and has lightly hunted, she has been slowly and properly produced and has gorgeous paces with a big hind step, she’s correct and spot on in every single way.

Loads of jump, bold to a fence, will help out her jockey and goes off any stride, she won’t ever say no. This mare is enthusiastic to work, always easy and has the most scopey, careful jump. A lovely kind horse on the ground, laid back and chilled out in the yard, easy to handle and do. Mannerly sort.

Blueberry is a lovely stamp, a true leg in each corner, big substantial mare and not the type you see often. Blueberry will hack alone and in company, good in traffic and easy going to hack. She will go out and do any job tomorrow with anyone on board.

Open to any vet or trainer.

  • 15.2 HW Cob gelding, 9 years old.

Up to date with teeth & vaccinations. Has regular routine Osteo, physio, saddle fitting etc

Good to catch, bath, clip (twitch for legs and ears), load, travel etc

We've had Bugsy for 3 years where he has mostly hacked and hunted. He was bought for a petite lady Master to enjoy social days out hunting, and he does exactly that. He's a pleasure; goes in a snaffle, front middle or back. Keeps up but with a level head. Great with hounds. We've not jumped him (no need) and although not a thrusters horse, will get over a log etc in the way, if needed. Perfect through/over ditches.

Very sensible out hacking. We're based just off a busy High Street and he regularly rides through the town, completely unfazed by traffic. Rides under/over motorway bridges. Prefers to go in company, but will go alone with a confident rider. He is not silly in anyway, just not the bold, brave type that'll take you. We have no problems and he does regularly go on his own.

This summer, I decided to have a go at showing him, where he far exceeded expectations. Although unaffiliated, he went Super Supreme at the Sunshine Tour Championship (Hickstead) and had fantastic comments from all the judges and stewards, including one who judges cobs professionally. I expect he would do very well with someone keen on the showing circuits.

Has been to some unaffiliated dressage, coming home with scores of 70%+ at both Intro and Prelim level. Sure to climb the ladder with more work.

Loads and travels on trailer or lorry. Very easy to have out and about on your own. Will stand on the box waiting all day if needed.

He's generally a cheeky chappy, that's fun to have around. He is pretty easy to do in all ways, although I couldn't say what he would be like for a novice, as he's only ever been ridden and handled by experienced people. We will be sad to see him go.

Has been out to a few hound exercises and Autumn hunting through September, so fit and ready to go. No major rush to sell, so we will keep him going and find the absolute perfect home for him.

He does mildly suffer with Mallenders & Sallenders and CPL (like A LOT of cobs these days!). We easily manage it with a correct diet, plenty of movement, and regular clipping. If this is a major problem for you, please do not waste my time.

Based in Newport Pagnell, Bucks

Tack & rugs potentially available by negotiation

Please PM or call 07969 875803 for more details. I am generally very busy so please leave a message or WhatsApp and I will get back to you.

Stunning 16.1hh 16 yo homebred gelding. Sire Country Top Dollor, dam Miss Matilda (Connemara x Welsh).

Writing this advert might break my heart……

Mr Music is homebred, he has a sensible outlook on life, incredibly correct way of going and has been my best friend.
He has three rhythmic and powerful paces. An absolute dressage schoolmaster, having competed consistantly up to BD Elementary, placed everytime at Regional Championships and placed at BD Nationals. He has 505 BD points.

He has previously evented, won numerous times at BE100 and placed top ten at Badminton Grassroots Championships.

We ve done everything together WonBE Arena Eventing National Championships, WHs, done clinics and even gone to the beach.

He hacks out alone or in company, sensible in traffic.

In recent years competitively he has focused on Bd and has achieved success after success.

I know him inside and out, he is such an easy horse to have at home or away at a competition.
His is very sensibly priced and he will only to a 5*home where he can give someone so much experience.
Full vetinerary history open to discuss and very sensibly priced in reflection of this. He is fit and well.
The home is the priority to me over the price. Please call only.

April has come to us to be sold on behalf of her owners and will only be sold to the very best of homes!

Approx 15.2hh rising 4year old (2022BORN) mare by MULTICOUTURE out of a Dresm Boy mother.

She’s a beautiful type and has a lovely temperament. Shes shown in hand very successfully has has won endless amounts of rosettes and sashes, she has sadly developed a splint on both front legs so she hasn’t shown since. Splints are fully formed and are purely superficial.

She has been backed and lightly ridden away over the last 6 - 8 weeks and is proving to be a real little star! She naturally l carry’s herself well in the flat and is a very good mover with great balance and naturally uphill. Shes just started poping a few small fences proving bold and brave yet super careful with great technique, she’s hacked out on a handful of occasions and has a lovely attitude towards her work.

April is a super smart intelligent mare that picks up everything asked of her very quickly and is sure to make a lovely top end riding club horse in time. All her basics are there and she’s now ready for someone to put their own stamp on her.

Her owners are looking for around £8000 but are happy to negotiate as a good home in their priority.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Marley is my 8 year old KWPN cross gelding standing 16.3/17hh.

I have owned him from a 2 year old but known him from a foal so full history known.

His dam is a 17.2 KWPN jumping mare, sire 15hh sports pony (Diamond storm Murphy) by the prolific Stormhill Mink.

Marley has excellent conformation, straight moving with no lumps or bumps. He has 3 exceptionally balanced paces and is very agile and athletic to go with it. He schools beautifully from the seat and soft to the hand. He find lateral work very easy, leg yield, shoulder in and simple flying changes, medium and extended trot. He is as soft as can be and could have a piece of thread from my hand to his bit.

Marley will hack out alone or in company and has never bucked, reared, bolted etc. although he may have a little spook at things, he always goes past ANYTHING.

I have had Marley out to unaffiliated dressage and jumping along with many clinics and camps covering jumping and XC where he excels. He is keen and loves to jump with a bold, brave and careful jump. I have schooled him upto 105cm which he does with ease (but I am no showjumper) and told he is a 120cm horse all day long. At the last clinic (Somerford park) the instructor told me she expected my eventing debut by the end of this season.

He is ready to progress his career now with someone who can take him out places and do more with him.

Although he is a safe horse, he is not a novice ride and requires light knowledgeable rider as he is sensitive to the aids and needs very little leg (but in no way silly). Like I say, he has never bucked, bolted, reared at all,

I am sadly parting with my heart horse due to my own personal circumstances and health as he deserves to be out doing what he loves - a job!!

He has never been sick or sorry a day in his life and open to any vettings etc. he is perfect to load and travel. Great with farrier (I have him unshod as he has great feet so never been shod) perfect to trim and clip. I only do half face as he doesnt like clippers around his ears.

Upto date with teeth, back and vaccinations. Lots of pics and vids available.

This is the hardest decision I have had to make and would love to see Marley go to a home ideally to event but with a varied job as he deserves the best.

Tally has been with her current owner since she was 5 months old.

In that time she has been to many local shows and a couple of county shows where she was shown in hand. Well behaved, took it all in her stride & always in the ribbons.

She was backed when rising 3 and then broken in at 4 years old. She was then turned away due to owners ill health.

Tally has been at livery for the last 8 weeks to get going again and further her education. She’s done hacking, farm rides, poles and small jumps. Has done some schooling and this is currently a work in progress.

She is a lovely looking horse with lots to give and in the right hands will do well.

Looking for a knowledgeable home experienced in bringing on youngsters to help her reach her full potential.

Currently living out 24/7. Good to hack alone/in company, good in traffic. Up to date with teeth, back & vaccinations. Open to vetting.

Tonks is a blue and white 5 Yr old Irish gelding. He works nicely on the flat but he is truly awesome over a fence.

He is absolutely outstanding hunting- he still remains snaffle mouthed but is fearless and very mannerly.

Tonks has been to arena hires and clinics where he just gets on with the job in hand.

He is good to hack both alone and in company.

Tonks would be best suited to a competent sympathetic home as he can be a little nervous and takes time to trust.

He really is a super young horse who could go on to excel in any sphere.

AVAILABLE WITH 28 DAY TRIAL.

16hh 9yo coloured ESH gelding. Very well bred with super conformation.
Good to bath, catch, clip, load, travel, handle & farrier. Easy to do in all ways, a real gentleman. Very sweet and kind natured boy. Intelligent and switched on so always learning and trying to please.

Schooling
Very well schooled. Lots of buttons to push when you know what to ask! Flying changes, leg yeild, walk to canter, collection, extension established. Working on piaffe, half pass, turn on the forehand - almost established. Massive elastic paces. One of those horses where you get lost in time when riding.

Jumping
One of the most powerful jumpers I've ever ridden, with some serious ping and scope.
He is building his confidence SJ as not done as much of this before us, however once he builds trust in his rider he will do anything for them.
XC he is a machine, jumps anything pointed at and gives or takes leads.
One to watch for the future, this lad is capable of some big tracks with the right rider.

Hacking
Hacks out first or last, alone or in company. Crosses any terrain confidently. Happily takes the lead or hangs back to look after the kids.
Good with cars (around 'normal' roads) but when we hack down the main road he does like to stop and look at the larger traffic (artics/double decker buses etc) as he can worry about these.

CV
With us he has.. been on pleasure rides, pub rides, showing shows, show jump training, show jump shows, XC schooling at Milton Keynes and Alconbury, hound exercise & team chasing.
With previous owners he has done a lot of showing, qualifying and competing at RIHS X2, hunted, XC farm rides etc.

Although he is a genuine and kind boy he is not suitable for novices. He is suited to a rider that wants to go out and have some real fun be that hunting, showing, dressage, team chasing etc. This being said he is not the explosive sort either! Just a very fun ride!
Please no yards where he will be a 'number' this boy thrives on and deserves to be someone's heart horse.

Super old fashioned Irish mare who will go on to do any job. Bonnie is a type increasingly hard to find, she’s a solid MW and a square leg at each corner sort but is still quality.

Bonnie is a real treasure. She is now working sweetly on the flat and starting to get the idea of working on the bridle, she is straightforwards to ride and happy to just continue if her rider has a wobble. She stays in a good rhythm and really tries to please, she is obviously still green but shows a lot of promise in her work and is naturally balanced. Bonnie is definitely a jumper! She has got a great technique, and gets better with every session. She is just awesome, she’s very brave, careful and straightforward. She has had her first taste of XC with us and was great fun and very brave with a lot more to come from her! She will go on and do a bit of everything very well and be a top class all rounder. I could see her going and being a lot of fun grass roots eventing, SJ ( you wouldn’t know how much scope she’s got so who knows how far she will go!) Bonnie is a machine out hunting and has been out weekly on hound exercise and to opening meets visiting various packs, she is made for the job, stands quietly, excellent with hounds, hunts in a snaffle and jumps anything and everything, combined with being very sensible and eye catching she is one in a million! She has been hunting with us with several different riders and gives everyone a great day.

Bonnie love fun rides, she's the sort you can take anywhere, she’s kind and simple and loves her hacking alone and in company and is good in traffic. We have hacked her extensively, taken her to the beach / pub and given her a good start to seeing the world. She is my go to if I ever have a novice friend wanting to come hacking as she is very quiet and really is anybodies ride!

We have been hunting Bonnie with all the local packs and she is cracking and made for the job, she's hunted now with several different riders bothe male and female and given everyone a great day, she's very genuine to jump and happy to give a lead if needed, hedges, timber, nothing is any bother to her. She stands like a rock when asked and is good with hounds.

Her attitude to work is just the best, she is the definition of a trier. In addition to being such a total sweetheart under saddle she’s very kind to handle, good to catch, clip, box, good with farrier and just a ice easy person to have on the yard. She is happy to live in, out and not mareish and friends with everyone. I adore her and can’t wait to see what she becomes.

Video does no justice as she's come on a lot since it was taken, for fresh videos and hunting ones please send a Whatsapp

LORRI

Ref #: 385980
  • Quality youngster who is a really lovely willing girl who only ever wants to please.
£12,000
  • Irish Sports Horse
  • Piebald
  • Mare
  • 4 years
  • 15.2 hands
  • Quality youngster who is a really lovely willing girl who only ever wants to please.

To make an outstanding top end PC/ RC competition horse, enough scope to go BE/ BS, good enough paces / natural way of going for BD, well marked and a good enough mover for some showing, and just an all round good egg! She will go and turn heads and win hearts in whatever she does!

Lorri was homebred by a friend in Ireland, this girl has had the best start and been slowly and correctly produced with a long term future in mind, she will make a super competition type but is not sharp or sensitive and is forgiving girl and therefore suitable for someone to have as a first youngster to home produce, kid coming off ponies etc. Lorri isn’t at all mareish and super easy to do everything with.

Lorri is a beautiful model, very well marked and pretty. She has the temperament and brain to match this so is a real type hard to find. She is working exceptionally well on the flat for her age, she has a lovely mouth, 3 very expressive but balanced paces with the nicest canter. She is very willing and trainable and will do the most beautiful test with a little more fine tuning. She isn’t a sensitive or silly type and very rideable, always willing to please and absorbs everything asked of her and is a delight to ride each day. To jump Lorri is brave and scopey. She is jumping round a full course of show jumps including fillers and water tray at 80 cm and looks at nothing. She has attended a couple of training shows with us and jumped straight round. She had been taking part in group clinics with us and is always well behaved and much admired. She has loads of scope to go on and is naturally careful and clever to jump. She has been XC schooling and jumps ditches, water, drops etc with no bother, her brain is very willing and she loves to have a job to do.

Lorri also loves her hacking and is good both alone and in company, she’s met quite a bit of traffic and hasn’t been bothered by any of it. She’s got a lovely sensible attitude to life without being dull and will make someone the nicest little horse. Everyone here loves her!

Lorri is good to catch, box, shoe, clip etc. just the nicest little horse who will get snapped up!

?? Harlow
7-year-old Warmblood x Cob Mare
If you’re after a kind, easy-going mare who’s as genuine as they come — meet Harlow. ??
She’s the perfect blend of Warmblood quality and cob common sense, making her a real pleasure to have around. Harlow has mainly been hacking and takes absolutely everything in her stride — traffic, tractors, dogs, puddles, you name it — she’s completely unfazed. She’s also happily popped over some solid fences and shows plenty of bravery and scope to go on and do a bit of everything.
Harlow doesn’t need riding every day and is exactly the same whether she’s worked regularly or had a few days off — no silliness, no spook, no drama. Just a straightforward, steady girl who loves a scratch and a bit of fuss.
Currently barefoot, good for the farrier, loads and travels well, and has no vet history. Open to full vetting.
She’s the kind of mare everyone needs in their life — honest, brave, and always ready for whatever the day brings.
?? Potential all-rounder / fun horse / low-level competition prospect
?? Located in Durham
?? A lovely home is a must for this lovely girl
