Gregory will suit someone who will get on and tell him what to do, as he still needs the education at his age, though he is in no way a complicated ride.

Rio has recently turned 13. He has 3 lovely paces and has a kind temperament. I bought Rio just over a year ago to showjump and that is what we have been doing.

Rio always produces lovely work in the school and is not affected by other horses around him. He can do walk to canters, leg yields, he has a great canter which is adjustable and very smooth.

Rio is great to hack. I have galloped him bareback holding on with one hand and he happily stopped at the top of the hill. He is not dangerous in any way and can hack alone or in company. I have hacked him along various roads and he has been fine, he has also been well behaved when meeting people in the woods.

Rio is fine living in or out and is also fine in a big herd or being turned out alone.

Rio has never bucked, bolted or reared etc. He has no vices whilst ridden and does not take advantage of an inexperienced rider. My 9 year sister has ridden him numerous times and he has behaved impeccably. Rio is very adaptable to his rider.

Recently, x-rays showed that Rio has arthritis is both his front feet and so he can no longer be jumped. Rio is being sold for hacking and schooling only.

Rio cannot return to ridden work until he has had one set of injections which I would like to be done by my vet so that I know they have been done correctly. After this, Rio will need injections every 6 months or so.

Please get in touch if you think he may be right for you, home is much more important than price as we really want him to be loved just as much as we love him. This is an extremely sad sale of a much loved horse so no time wasters please, as this is already hard enough as it is.

Transport can be arranged if necessary as we have a horsebox.

Wystone Heartbreaker aka Tommy.

Very sad sale as he means the absolute world to me, will only go to the very best home where I can stay in touch.

Our homebred boy thinks he’s human and loves attention. He was used as a breeding stallion but now gelded and happily lives out next to mares. Has been shown when younger with great success and was also very lightly broken but not been sat on for a good year!

He is out of Custom Made Fascination and by SD Prince.

He would be a great contender for the search for a star hoys classes.
