Very sweet 13 year old mare. Just been backed working in walk and trot nicely, aims to please.

Sweet temperament but can still be nervous and spooky. Unfortunately been left in a field doing nothing until now so not seen much of the world. Once she trusts you forms a bond (which she has done with her current trainer).

Looking for a kind knowledgeable patient one to one home so her education can be furthered.

She deserves the best of homes with someone who has the knowledge to bring her on further and patiently.

I have lots of videos available from her current trainer of progress made.

12yr old warmblood x sportshorse mare 16.2hh

Absolutely loves her work, good to clip, shoe, catch, load.

Travels in a trailer on the right hand side or in a lorry

Fantastic out hacking with all traffic, she has a big forward going stride, certainly not a kick along, brilliant solo or in company and nothing phases her.

Enjoys her jumping and xc. Been having regular flat/jump/xc lessons over the last year. Has hunted many times in the past. Her favourite thing is fun rides, absolutely loves them, on her own or in a gang.

Fantastic on the beach. Has done hunter trials with good results, been to shows. She can turn her hoof to anything

Can pull grumpy faces over the stable door but you groom and tack up in the stable fine.

Never sick or sorry, will live out happily with mares and geldings.

Will follow you around the field like a dog. She’s not suited to a novice as she loves her speed although she has good brakes and will listen to her rider.

She can be a bit sensitive and aloof initially but once you have a bond with her she will do whatever you ask.

She really is a super horse and it’s a very sad genuine sale

Can be viewed at Barwick Equestrian near Truro with excellent trial facilities

Stunning palomino mare with exceptional breeding.

Flashy on the flat, naturally well balanced and athletic. Three loose and attractive paces, along with her stunning colour makes her very eye catching.

Quality enough for a professional but easy enough for an amateur. Hacked out by novice and inexperienced riders.

Moves well enough for pure dressage but enjoys her jumping, has been to a couple show jumping events and xc schooling. Jumping lots of clears at 90cm and just the first fence down in her first 1m/1.05m. Scopey enough to reach BE Novice/2*, so could also be a future U18 teams horse.

Exceptional temperament, very easy on the ground and so willing to work.

Her grandmother jumped to 1.20/Foxhunter level and mother was training at Medium level BD as a 6yo before picking up an injury. The Sire side needs no introduction, with Negro siring the multi medal winning and Olympian Valegro.

Owned since a foal so full history known, easy to break in and start riding.

Hacks alone or in company, good for the farrier.

Price will increase the more she does.

  • Will make top rc or grassroots horse in time . Ready for someone to put their own stamp on.

Whisky is a beautifully marked, straight moving, compact little horse with a can do attitude by Lostock king of the hill who is known for putting a good trainable stamp on his offspring, out of a Overbury mare. CHAPS reg.

Whisky was broken in last May and has since been slowly and correctly started. He hacks alone or in company, first or last and not phased by anything. good in traffic. Been on fun rides, beach rides, small xc, jumping a small course(80cm) indoor and out on grass. He has done group lessons ,good to stand and wait his turn and work in a group. Good in busy warm up arenas. He moves beautifuly and has been to a dressage competition not phased by the boards or arena (won his class). He is happy to work independently with no fuss with or way from others. Whisky is forward off your leg with lovely transitions, soft in the mouth ,light on his feet and well balanced. He is more go than whoa so would suit someone looking for a bit of gear that's genuine and to be competitive.

Whisky is now ready for someone to put their own stamp on him and I'm sure he will be someone's forever top rc,pc , chaps show, grass roots, type in time. would suit a teen coming off ponies or small adult. he is up to date with jabs, teeth farrier .Good to catch, and load.

He is not hot or spooky but is young and wants to get on with the job so no total novice riders.

He is only for sale as bred by my father who is now 77 and prefers golf. He has been produced by his granddaughter who is 17 but sadly he's too small to keep. Good homes only and not in a rush to sell as we would love to see him out and about being a total superstar.

Open to any vetting.

Based 5 mns off j35 of m4.

Good trial facilities.

By Solaris Buenno. Super smart horse on the flat with 3 good paces, currently working Elementary level, simple changes, leg yields, lateral work.

Recently been out Dressage with ourselves placing 1st in both tests with 73% and 69% novice. He would easily step up the levels for a good amatuer who wants to step up the levels in the boards.

He has beautiful limbs and lovely way of going so would equally excel in the show ring- CHAPS registered.

Jenson has had a successful few years eventing to BE100/6yo level, with lots of placings 100 and gaining 62 Foundation points- still eligible for grassroots. He is fab XC brave and honest.

He would make a teenage lad a super tetrathalon horse!

We feel he would suit a good amatuer/older teenager to progress up the levels BD or someone wanting to event.

Good to hack alone and in company.

Good to shoe / box / clip / load etc

Open to any vet / inspection

Recently reduced price due to owner needing to stop ongoing livery costs

Lexi is a much loved, gorgeous mare that always draws the eye no matter where she goes.

Lexi has been been owned by the same person since a 4 year old.

Her and her owner started their BD journeys togethers, starting with Team Quest at Prelim and progressing all the way up to Elementary competing in Area Festivals and TeamQuest Regional Finals along the way.

In between her competing, Lexi was training at home at Medium level and enjoying hacking round the countryside which she loved. To hack Lexi is an absolute joy, she happily will canter across open fields, through streams and rivers and around the country lanes. She has also done some pole work too which she really enjoys too.

More recently, Lexi has been at a loan home where she has done a little bit of everything including hacking and schooling. She has 3 good paces with an impressive medium trot. She knows all her lateral work with easy leg yields and shoulder ins.

Lexi is a much loved horse and this is a very sad sale for her owner who wants to find her the best possible home so she can continue doing what she loves.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Grassroots eventer/ quality all rounder

16/16.1hh. Irish Sport Horse. Quality Skewbald. Mare, Rising 14 years.

Experienced eventer.
Forward off the leg, not strong, very responsive up and down the gears.
Kind temperament.

Hanry Patch (Delilah) loves to jump! She is awesome xc, forgiving, brave, forward and has plenty of years left in her to either show someone the ropes eventing or for someone more experienced to have some real fun on her!

Delilah is a gentle, experienced horse with a confident demeanour. She is very level-headed and has good understanding of how to work with a rider. She is extremely well-mannered and easy to handle.

Delilah has had 3 homes and has always been extremely well cared for. In her first home she was lightly hunted, then she moved a teenager who owned her for 6 years and took her from fun rides to eventing successfully at 90.

Hacking Delilah is a delight. She hacks really well alone or in company. Traffic, farm vehicles and going under motorway bridges doesnt bother her at all. She is also sensible in open space and just does what you ask her to. You can also leave her for a few days without her getting fresh.

On the flat, Delilah is balanced and correct. She is well established in 3 paces as well as in basic lateral work.

She is careful and forgiving when she Showjumps, she likes a forward rhythm without being strong and will find the strides for you. She's happy with fillers, water trays and ditches. Always brave and bold.

Up to date with vaccinations, dentist, shoes and physio.

Delilah is sound, fit and ready to go! She will be entered up for some events until she is sold.

She has two saddles that have been professionally fitted and a bridle, plus rugs that can be discussed.

Delilah would suit a variety of homes, from grassroots eventing, riding club, dressage, showing or hunting, she is the ultimate alrounder. A loving owner and good home is very important. Sad sale of this much loved horse. No novices please.

COOKIE Head turning 16.2hh 2011 spotted gelding, this super smart chap has been there, done it and got the t shirt. Ultimate mother daughter share / teenagers dream.

He’s a darling to have around, has done loads of riding club and showjumping, a real hard to find confidence giving ride. He’s fun, easy and talented. Cookie offers three correct and balanced paces on the flat, he’s always ridden in a snaffle. Loads of competition experience and loves his jumping, always in the ribbons and loves to be out and about.

Good to do in all ways, fantastic in open spaces, bes not spooky or strong. Cookie is a super ride in traffic, brilliant with the farm vehicles here on site, a well loved and kind boy all round. He doesn’t like to be left alone in the stable yard, he doesn’t do anything other than walk the box, but cookie would like to be in a home where he isn’t left in a stable completely alone.

Tank is a 16.2h Irish cob X tb, rising 12 year old gelding. Tank is like a big dog on the ground, he really has the most amazing ground manners.

He is lovely to hack and flat, can get strong in open spaces and big groups but nothing silly. Hacks first or last, alone or in company.

Has 3 lovely paces on the flat and works beautifully on the bridal

Tank is very forward and strong to jump, he had the odd calm day but he just adores his job! He will jump anything you point him at without hesitation. I want him to ideally go to a competition home as he deserves to show off his potential.

He is fab to clip, work, load, travel etc. his only fault is the farrier ; he is shod all round however not a huge fan of being shod. He is a lot better than he used to be just needs lots of reassurance and a patient, kind farrier.

Tank is one of a kind so will only go to a 5star home, and will come with a full wardrobe including Bridle and Saddle.

This homebred horse has been a pleasure to own . He has been professionally broken and schooled but has also had a full season of unaffiliated with his 5.3” owner.

Brilliant at cross country, he is not phased by water, ditches, steps etc Alfred is also exceptionally light on his feet for a big horse and very careful over coloured fences. His dressage is of a very high standard for his size and age and he would suit anyone who is wanting to have fun in all spheres.

Alfred is perfect to box, shoe, hack out , clip or anything else you can think of, he is the darling of the yard and deserves and will only go to a 5* home

Price matches his education at this stage, once the sun starts shining he will start competing and his price will rise will increase to reflect this .
