Finn is a lovely, experienced horse with a huge amount to offer, combining his dressage education with the bravery and versatility to shine as a true allrounder. A genuine dressage schoolmaster, he is well established on the flat and has previously competed at Medium level as a young horse, with BD points to his name.

He has three expressive, balanced paces and a kind, forgiving nature, making him a fantastic choice for someone wanting to learn, improve, and gain confidence with a knowledgeable partner.

Away from the arena, Finn is incredibly brave and willing. He has a great jump, happily popping fillers, and is bold cross country, confidently tackling steps, banks, and ditches. He really is the type who will turn his hoof to anything and enjoy it.

Finn has a full history known and has been in the same home for the past five years, where he has been much loved. He is now looking for a new home where he can be enjoyed more consistently, as his talent and experience deserve to be used.

He is a fabulous hack, safe and relaxed both alone and in company, and is a pleasure to have on the yard.

Finn is a rare find — a genuine schoolmaster on the flat with the bravery and attitude to excel in any sphere, whether dressage, riding club, or simply as a fun, confidence-giving partner.

Jack is a stunning 16.1 almost jet black TB x WB with the easiest temperament. There is nothing bad to say about him; he's easy to mix, keep, handle, catch and live with. Always looks tidy, is happily barefoot in the field but will probably need shoes on to get back into work. He currently lives out 24/7 rugged for the weather, but has lived in at night and loves his stable.

We had to retire Jack from show jumping and all rounder life as he just wasn't happy to jump. We could never put our finger on it other than some very mild KS on his x-ray (can be provided). Jack won't pass a vetting but is strong, happy & healthy, so he's not going to cost a lot to look after. He is immaculately cared for and completely paddock sound, recent videos can be sent of him having a jolly time. No lumps or bumps and has been kept up to date with dentist and farrier for filing.

Jack can be bought back into work and kept up together with physio and flat work but is sold from the field as currently unridden. We've had him on grass livery for the last 6 months due to my daughter having two competition horses who take up all our time. Jack has so much love left to give so we do wish him to have a new family to hang out with. He loves long hacks, is used to farm machinery, huge lorries passing close by and is bomb proof in all traffic. We've never hacked him alone but he is impeccable in company; front, back or middle.

Would suit a mother's hack to take out with children, happy hacker for easy rides, companion or the ultimate Black Beauty field ornament if you wanted one!! Jack is always majestic to behold. He loves a fuss and cuddle, is great with kids, dogs, other horses and turns out with anyone / anything. Very nosey, so always with you in the field and leaning in if you're chatting nearby.

Based in Bristol, priced low as the right home is of most importance and we will wish to stay in touch. Strictly no dealers.

Looking for someone with a big heart to give this lovely boy the best home. He is well mannered, well handled, excellent with his feet, loves being bathed, groomed, good with the farrier and very sweet natured.

He is very sensitive and cannot be ridden. He is cold backed, so only suitable as a companion or family pet. He has a good brain so he could also be suitable for TRT. I have owned him since he was 6 months old and have grown very fond of him and will ONLY let him go to a 5* experienced and knowledgeable home where I can keep in touch. He is up to date with all vaccinations and has no health issues.

He is 5 years old, 15.1hh and a beautiful stamp. The home will be vetted.

Shaky (show name Shakin Stevens) is my 16.2hh Dutch Warmblood gelding and this is one of the hardest adverts l've ever had to write. He was my first horse. I knew nothing when I bought him, and he very patiently taught me so much. He is the type of horse that looks after you when you don't even realise you need looking after.

In his younger years, Shaky competed up to 1.40m, travelling and jumping across Portugal and Spain as a professional showjumper before I bought him as a 15-year-old to help build my confidence. He has truly been there, done it, and worn the T-shirt. In October 2024, he was referred to Liphook for investigation of bruising to his pedal bone. Given his previous career and findings, I made the decision to retire him fully from jumping and find him a life where he could just be happy.

He has now been turned away and living out for around 15 months and is completely comfortable in himself with no current health issues. He is barefoot on all four feet. Shaky does have shivers in his hind legs, which unfortunately means he is unable to have his back feet picked up. This has been managed by allowing him to keep his feet on the ground and it has never caused him pain or distress, but it is an important part of his care. He is an incredibly gentle soul. He would never bite or kick and is very easy in his nature.

He can be slightly head shy when first getting to know someone, but once he trusts you he becomes very affectionate and forms a strong bond. He is good to turn out with others and mixes well in a herd. Under saddle, he would now only be suitable for very light hacking (walk and trot only). In new environments he can occasionally be a little nappy, but it is never dangerous or nasty - he just needs a calm, reassuring rider and voice. Shaky means the world to me. He was my first horse, my teacher, and a huge part of my journey.

I am looking for a 5 star knowledgeable, loving, long-term companion home only where he will be genuinely cared for and understood. Home will be carefully vetted, and I would love to stay in touch and receive updates. Absolutely no jumping or schooling work.

Selling as a companion pony or project pony

He is unbacked but I have been doing lots of work with him and he’s currently doing very well he’s only had some one sit on him a couple times but has been a star he’s a lovey mover and lunges well

Companion pony wise he is amazing with kids on the ground and he’s not barge or rude is good left in the field on his own but also loves a friend, he loves to be fussed over

He would do well in a home that’s got the time to work with him and love on him

Don’t let his age be a set back as he’s full of life and has basically no mileage due to him not being backed

Open to any question

Meet Robby – The Ultimate Schoolmaster & Confidence Giver

Robby is a lovely 17-year-young, 16.2hh Maxi Cob gelding looking for a kind and knowledgeable home where he can enjoy happy hacking, hunting and fun days out.

A genuine schoolmaster and nanny horse, Robby has taught countless riders over the years. He is a real confidence giver and an easy, enjoyable ride. Anyone can hack him out and he has safely introduced many people to riding and hunting. He loves beach rides, pub rides, and a day out with the hounds, and has given many riders their first enjoyable days hunting.

He does require a little management once a year to keep him comfortable. X-rays have shown slight navicular changes in his near fore. His coffin joint has been injected and he wears pads in front. He is currently sound, happy and still enjoying his job, with no reason he couldn’t do a few more seasons.

Please note: Robby will not pass a full vetting, so please don’t enquire if this is essential. However, he passes the veterinary inspection every year for my riding school licence and continues to work happily.

Important:
• No time wasters
• No loans or payment plans
• Not for someone wanting to jump grassroots
• No one wanting to bring trainers – he is not going to a schooling home

Normal, genuine homes only please.

Transport can be arranged and part exchange may be considered. Priced realistically for a quick, straightforward sale, but he will not be given away.

Reason for sale: The hirelings weren’t busy enough this season so I’m rethinking my career and moving some of my older horses on to loving, knowledgeable homes.
