Severnvale Pride is an 11yr old black fell gelding who is looking for his next family. Pride stands at approx 13.2hh but he is a chunky boy who takes up the leg well (riders in photos are 5’6 and 5’7)

Pride is a pleasure to handle and look after. He is good to lead, load, clip, bath, etc.
His next family would ideally be a happy hacking home/ fun rides/ etc. He is not a fan of schooling but he will do it. Due to his lack of enthusiasm on the schooling front I don’t think he would enjoy a showing home either.

Pride hacks out alone or in company though he is much better with company. He is quite wary/spooky hacking alone and takes confidence from his rider so would suit a confident teen or adult. He isn’t nasty at all and he doesn’t buck or rear but he does do an exaggerated spook (tuck his bum and scoot forward a few strides).

Lives on fresh air and happy to live in or out. He gets on well with mares and geldings.
He is up to date with vaccinations, feet, etc.

‘Obie’ is super pony and good to do in all ways. Loves being around people and super friendly. Good with feet and dentist, stands nicely to be groomed.

Will live in or out, he is stabled at night with us.

Mainly done low level riding and jumping at home by our 13 year old daughter. He is nice and forward when out hacking with good breaks. He will go in school but not his favourite so needs a lot of leg.

Quick learner and brilliant to drive where he has taken to this amazingly.

Good with dogs, hens, sheep, etc. Not spooky walks past all kinds of garden paraphernalia daily, trampoline, washing line, tent, fire etc.

Good and steady with traffic.

He was sold to us as a first pony and he has done the job but he is a typical fell and he will take the mickey if allowed.

He was ridden in a snaffle bit but my daughter rides him in a kimblewick now as it gives her better control for when they have different ideas.

Travels and loads well (he comes on holiday with us to Scotland).

Excellent pedigree he is the last born fell of the Murthwaite herd bred by Thomas Capstick.

Full history known.

Looking for 5 star home for this super family pony.

Sad sale for a genuine reason.

Maverick was backed last year. Hacks out in company and alone and is very good in traffic, working nicely in the school but still green and can be wary of people he doesn't know.

He is very workmen like in his ridden work, responsive of a light leg and hand but can take hold in the canter, so needs more training in this paces.

Maverick has been out to a unaffiliated dressage show and warmed up nicely with everyone else and was very good doing his test, he also was taken to our county show last year to do the Fell in-hand class and performed extremely and finished in 3rd place.

Lives out in a small herd of three others, he is good for the farrier and has been shod but for the past year has been barefoot and is doing really well not having shoes.

Maverick will NOT suit a novice rider or children, he needs someone who is a sympathetic rider with time to bring him on.

He will be a good candidate for the MM / WHP showing scene.

Lathomdale Amy FP0006717,
13.3h brown mare - 7 years old
Sire - Heltondale Star Boy – FP70389C,
Dam - Lathomdale Anna – FP4775

An absolute sweetheart of a pony, kind and gentle and gets on with all the horses she’s been in contact with.  Shod in front, happy to be clipped slowly and quietly.
Now ridden bitless which seems to suit her better.

Loads and travels well,  vaccinated and up to date with worming and teeth.

Amy loves hacking in company, is confident, forward going, sensitive and responsive, in front or behind.

We have done a fair amount of hacking, been to 2 pleasure rides and done trec/obstacle clinics where she has been a star.

She has an anxious nature and is not good with traffic, so out on her own she gets quite distressed, struggles to concentrate and struggles with confidence. She is better in company with traffic but it is still an issue.
She would improve with more work, but I am unable to give her the turnout space and support of other horses hacking out that she needs to reach her potential as a riding pony. I know it is there as she loves to work.

Would make a fabulous brood mare, or would suit someone with lots of turnout and time in a quieter location to bring out the best in her

Located North Bedfordshire.

Open to any vet and open to offers for this super pony.
