Mr Socks is a Welsh section C pony. He is 19 with lots of experience both at pony club events and out competing.

He has been a fabulous second pony for my daughter, who has now moved on to something bigger, and has taken her from jumping 50/60cms to 90/100cms qualifying for the pony club Show jumping Championships last year.

My daughter has also evented him at 80cms competing in the grassroots eventing team last year for her pony club.

He is a super games pony too and can turn on a sixpence!

He is fun to hunt and always proves popular with the judges in working hunter competitions.

He is safe to hack out, alone or in company. He is also good to shoe and load, up to date with vaccinations, has no vices and has his back and teeth checked regularly.

Mr Socks is not however for a complete novice. He is quite forward going and is ridden in a link pelham for show jumping and a kimblewick for cross country but is absolutely fine in a snaffle for dressage.

He is the perfect all-rounder, in great shape and still ready to go out and give a new rider lots of fun! We will miss Socks however please feel free to call us if you want to know anymore about our lovely pony.

Price to include tack.

Wanted – good PC schoolmaster, around 13-13.3hh depending on build.

We are looking for a pony for my 10 year old daughter as the next step from her reasonably forward but very sensible and genuine 12.2hh.

We need a true child’s pony, who will enjoy living at home with our other 4 horses, hack safely in company and alone, and enjoy a varied life including all PC, dressage, team SJ, nursery stakes & WHP, ODEs/HTs and sponsored rides.

It’s important to us that the pony is safe and straightforward, is not overly strong or whizzy and vice free to ride. We are looking for a true schoolmaster, willingly jumping courses up to 80/85cm (in due course – but happy to go back down to 60cm initially) and straightforward to ride in a consistent outline on the flat. Must jump watertrays, fillers, ditches etc and not be fazed by open spaces or buzzy shows. The ability not to get hysterical if parted from friends at home or at shows highly prized; willingness to stay put behind Mum’s horse when hacking also important! We'll consider ponies with known health conditions as long as the pony can be managed and work comfortably; an older pony looking for a quieter life might be perfect, but no green or project ponies.

In return we can offer a loving, knowledgeable and long-term home. Many references available. We would be willing to wait til the end of the summer for the perfect pony, although sooner would be ideal.

Please contact via email in the first instance with a video showing the pony working on the flat (ideally all 3 paces including transitions) and jumping a course, and I will get back to you straightaway. Based in Oxfordshire.

We're seeking a second pony, gelding, approx 12.2hh, ideally not grey & not over 13yo, which can show jump up to 90cm for Francis (8).

Max budget £3k.

His 3 sisters event at BE100.

Based in Shropshire, we train or compete every weekend & throughout the school holidays. Our groom lunges his pony 2-3xpw.

Francis has done 3 pony club camps & rallies. His pony is a very easy to ride, 25yr old schoolmaster gelding 13.1hh (Simon) who has taught all our children to ride. He needs to go down a size but up a level!

Francis has just jumped a fun ride of twenty 80cm XC jumps & a 75cm oxer SJ at home in our arena. For a course, he's more comfortable at 60cm. He now needs something perkier but without a buck. He's a currently a passenger & needs to learn to be the rider more now!

Francis loves show jumping, XC & mounted games - so ideally a pony which can do all that (we don't hunt)!

Ideally max 1hr from Shropshire or Oxford.

PRICED TO SELL AS MOVING AWAY!! Top class section C for sale 'Glanaber Lady May' 13.2hh 14yo

A school mistress who has previously been there and done it, qualifying HOYS, RI and many other championship shows.

Always gives a safe ride and since I’ve owned her, she has never done anything silly!

She is a mothers dream pony, will look after anyone who sits on her back and gives a beautiful ride with 3 lovely paces.

She will happily pop a jump and makes a nice shape over a fence, but can be forward, she could quite happily go on to do workers with the right people.

She will hack out but is more comfortable with another horse, however never done anything silly when by herself and is happy on her own in open fields with loud farm machinery.

May is a very straight forward pony a star to clip, bath, groom and will happily stand to be pampered all day!

Not the type of pony that needs to be ridden everyday. I go away a lot and she is the exact same whether it’s been a week or two!

Since I’ve owned her i have had nothing but fun with her and she has taught me so much and allowed me to grow as a rider.

This has been a very difficult decision I’ve had to make as I’ve had the best few years with her, giving me experiences no other pony could have, and always looked after me. She is only for sale due to me moving away and I have no other choice. She was for sale last year but we found it so hard we kept her for another year but sadly now there is nothing else I can do.

She is very special to me and myself and family are absolutely heartbroken so will only go to 5* homes I would love to see her in a experienced show home and do the veterans in the next few years! As there’s nothing she enjoys more than showing!

Very sad sale so please no time-wasters!

Please text me for any more info / pics / videos. If you call I may not always to answer
