5 star home most important. 10 YO Welsh Section C 'Abergavenny KO'
Only for sale as daughter has given up.
So many wins under saddle. Loves his job, has done workers and flat showing.
Hacks alone, or in company, good with farrier, vet, to load and travel.
He’s currently wasted we me as I feel I look too big to show him.
Smart pony, would suit competent teen who will use him to his full potential.
Nice forward going ride but not strong, he loves to work.
He’s is more of a 2nd pony so no complete novices.
Up to date with jabs, dentist.
He’s a great pony and it’s a difficult sale but he needs to be used to his full potential.

Pingu (Henfynyw Dafydd Du) is a super M&M show pony who moves beautifully, showing off his four white socks.
He regularly wins M&M (and other) classes and championships at local and RC shows. He is wasted at this level.
Two wins from two this season and already qualified for Sunshine Tour Finals ’24. Qualified multiple times for Equifest, including last year.
A little green jumping but does 60cm courses and clears 75cm easily with my 10yr old daughter.
Pingu has done showing, SJ, Pony Club, clinics and dressage. A natural M&M WHP prospect but he could go in any direction you like.
He has been ridden by my now 10yr old for the past 2 years. She is still a bit small to school him and bring him on as we'd like.
Best suited to a teenager or small adult to move him up a gear – not a first pony as he is a solid stamp of a Section C with plenty of power.
Hacks well alone but prefers company. No issues with traffic, JCBs etc. Calm & safe ridden in open spaces. A forward ride but not strong.
Great to catch, clip and for vet and farrier (bare-footed).
He loads like an absolute dream.
He is clean and tidy in his stable or can live out.
Pingu plays piano, zips up jackets and picks up yard tools. He is the yard's head of comedy.
He will give his next human a LOT of fun and success.
Tack & wardrobe available separately. Strictly no dealers.

He is good in open spaces, traffic, farm machinery, etc.
Good with farrier (bare foot), catch, clip, load trailer or lorry etc.
He is now sadly outgrown and looking for his next jockey. He is not a first pony or suitable for a nervous rider.
We would like to see him in an experienced and active home.

Rose is a real welsh pony full of quality and is a real mover she is very well bred and both sire and dam have excelled in the showring.
I feel she would make a fantastic performance pony with her athletic and elevated paces or would be a real show filly in hand.
She would be an asset to any stud with her breeding.
She is a kind filly with a fabulous temperament.

Would make a beautiful LR/open SHP if trimmed out or a super alrounder.. full history known as she’s been owned since a foal by the same home.
Done all basic ground work and been sat on in full tack with no issues by children.
Can be grumpy in the stable which is the only downfall. She has no lumps bumps or blemishes..
No offers.
Based in Surrey.

Welsh Pony of Cob Type Section C - Breed Standard
Height - Not exceeding 13 hands 2 inches (137.2 cms)
Colour & Markings - Any colour except piebald and skewbald
Head - Full of quality and pony character. A coarse head and Roman nose are most objectionable
Jaws and Throat - Clean and finely-cut, with ample room at the angle of jaw
Neck - Lengthy, well carried and moderately lean in the case of mares, but inclined to be cresty in the case of mature stallions
Shoulders - Strong but well laid back
Forelegs - Set square and true and not tied in at the elbows. Long strong forearm. Well developed knees with an abundance of bone below them. Pasterns of proportionate slope and length. Feet well shaped and round. Hooves dense. When in the rough a moderate quantity of silky feather is not objected to, but coarse, wiry hair is a definite objection
Body - Muscular, strong and well coupled back and loins. Deep girth with well sprung ribs
Hindquarters - Lengthy and strong. Ragged or drooping quarters are objectionable. Tail well set on
Hind Legs - Second thighs strong and muscular. Hocks to be large, flat and clean with points prominent, to turn neither inwards nor outwards. The hind leg not be too bent. The hock not to be set behind a line from the point of the quarter to the fetlock joint. Pasterns of proportionate slope and length. Feet well shaped and hooves dense
Action - Free, true and forcible. The knee should be bent and the whole foreleg should be extended straight from the shoulder and as far forward as possible in the trot. Hocks flexed under the body with straight and powerful leverage.
General Character: Active, surefooted and hardy, they are ideal for so many purposes both for adults and children. Strong, hardy and active with pony character
