It is with a heavy heart I write this add. Nessie is 8 years old and has achieved so much over the past 12 months. She qualified for RI and Hoys as a SHP in 2017, she gave my daughter the best year ever in her first showing season.

She excelled in the showing ring and was deemed 7th highest in the most successful 153cm show hunters in 2017.

Nessie loves to jump and would excel as a working hunter pony as well as being able to continue her career as a show hunter pony.

She loves to hack alone or in company.

She has hunted and done farm rides.

She is good to shoe, clip, load etc a complete beauty to handle.

Nessie is forward going so needs a competent rider.

We love her very much, sadly my daughter has grown very quickly, so needs a larger horse.

Please no time wasters as we will find it hard to part with this gorgeous girl. 10 star home is very important to us.

Can be seen at Keele, Staffordshire

Beautiful dressage filly by Vitalis (Vivaldi) x San Amour (Sandro Hit)

Beautiful filly with top class breeding and movement yet a temperament to suit amateur or professional. Viva is very friendly and confident for her age. She leads well and loads into a trailer. She is good with the farrier. She lives out and is used to wearing a rug. She gets on well with other horses.

SIRE
The sire Vitalis was first reserve champion of the main NRW licensing in 2009, dominated the dressage index of his stallion performance test in 2010 in Warendorf and, at an early age, notched up wins and placings at the Dutch stallion championships and at the World Championships of 5-year-old dressage horses in 2012. With Charlotte Jorst he was placed in the finals of the World Championships of 6-year-old dressage horses. Shortly after he dominated the US championship in his age-group with record marks of 10.0 for trot and 9.8 for canter. Since then he has been trained up to advanced level and is successful up to Intermediaire I.

Vitalis’ daughter Virginia K was the winner of the elite show and at the Westphalian Week, all five of the three-year-old mare and gelding finalists were offspring of Vitalis. At the autumn elite auction in Münster-Handorf, the four star horses were offspring of Vitalis. The two highest offers were 200.000 euros. To date, 14 of his sons have been licensed, including Veneno, who was sold for 310.000 euros in Vechta in 2014. 2015 brought another rich crop: His daughter Victoria's Secret was German national champion of the four-year-old mares and geldings, two other descendants of Vitalis also reached the final and his daughter Vienna was at the top of the Westphalian elite mare show.

Vitalis’ sire Vivaldi, internationally successful with Hans Peter Minderhoud, already sired 19 licensed sons in Germany. Vivaldi was Reserve Champion of his stallion performance test with 9.0 for walk and canter as well as 8.5 for trot, won the five-year-old Pavo-Cup in Holland, won in 2008 "Hengstencompetitie" (stallion competitions) three times and also won in 2009 the final of KWPN tournament series for stallions, where he received 10.0 for his trot. In 2014, Vitalis dominated the World championships of the six-year-old dressage horses in Verden, where his offspring ranked first, third and sixth.

DAM
This foals dam Faside Sandalwood is by the premium stallion San Amour who was bought at auction for EUR 450,000 after being the most coveted stallion at his licensing. He is elegant and light with fantastic uphill paces. At his performance test San Amour had the highest dressage index (137.74) and was particularly praised for his rideability (9.5). As a 5 year old San Amour qualified for the Bundeschampionat under Ulf Moller. His first crop of foals were very sought after, with one being bought for EUR 70,000 at the Munster-Handorf Auction. San Amours dam, elite Puppenfee was herself Oldenburg reserve mare champion. She is the full sister to the approved stallion Pierrot Royal. She also produced Auguste Victoria, the 2008 Oldenburg Regional Champion. San Amour’s grand sire Plaisir d'Amour has competed successfully in international Grand Prix classes and at the World Championship in 1998.

The granddam, Rosewould, is by BWBS champion stallion Rosenburg who combines some the best dressage and showjumping lines in Europe. These include the dressage legend Rohdiamant (Rubinstein) who was the champion dressage horse of his generation in Oldenburg and a main premium stallion with a huge dressage index of 150.01 points. Rosenburgs dam sire is Ramino (Ramiro) who was Champion stallion at his performance test and went on to compete Internationally in Show Jumping. Ramino is the sire of Loretta, the dam of Sandro Hit. Rosewould is half sister to Jamie Brooms Furst Impression. Furst Impression won at the Winter Regionals at Novice Level and then qualified for the Nationals, coming 4th. In 2017 he competed successfully at PSG.

  • All with direct dam lines to famous international and Olympic horses
  • Selection of world class dressage and show jumping foals for sale out of our top class herd of German, Dutch, French and Belgium sport mares
  • All with direct dam lines to famous international and Olympic horses

Ashwey Stud, British hobby breeders of sport ponies and horses, are now breeding professionally and based in the sunshine of the Madrid sierra, in Spain.

In 2018 we have a selection of world class dressage and show jumping foals for sale out of our top class herd of German, Dutch, French and Belgium sport mares, all with direct dam lines to famous international and Olympic horses.

Dressage Foals

We have a number of foals due by the legendary Olympic medal winning Spanish Andalusian PRE stallion Oleaje, who is owned and bred by the famous Yeguada Militar (Spanish Military Stud). We have foals by him due to stunning warmblood mares, each with a direct dam line to Olympic dressage horses like Barbria, Freud and Taikoen. All these foals will be registered as Spanish Warmbloods and have considerable sporting and breeding potential, given the rarity of pure bred Spanish stallions that have won an Olympic medal. Oleaje was part of the most successful Spanish equestrian team in Olympic history, winning a team silver medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Show jumping foals

We have foals due by Olympic legend Arko III, as well as a stunning brother to Olympic great Ratina Z (Ramiro Z x Alme Z) all out of mares by famous proven Olympic + stallions like Cardento, Concorde, Ahorn and Zeus, with many of the mares competing to 1.30-1.40m level themselves before becoming broodmares. We even have a sister to world number one money winner Ursula XII who jumped herself to 1.40m and is infoal to Nivk Skeltons superb horse Arko III. All mares have dam lines that have consistently produced top 1.40m - 1.60m level family dynastys.

Jumping pony foals

We have already bred numerous top jumping ponies including HOYS finalist Ashwey Patchwork Sparrow, who won a team gold medal representing England in an international competition last year. We have pony foals due by our top jumping Connemara stallions by Gwennic de Goariva and Templebready Fear Bui, including one out of a full sister to European Championships pony Cuffesgrange For Sure. We also have the worlds first golden dun/buckskin Ramiro Z pony grand son/daughter due out of a top class Gwennic de Goariva mare with lots of HOYS + Grade A jumping ponies on her dams side.
