16.1hh approx, thoroughbred just turned 8. Codey is not your typical thoroughbred, she is a quality competition type who would excel in any discipline. She has an athletic jump, is schooling beautifully on the flat, and she will stay in work until her new home is found so that she is fit and ready to go! She is a real head turner and gets regular comments when she is out and about.

She finished racing in Oct 2022, and since then, she has been introduced to everything possible, having been a competitive member of the riding club showjumping to 90cm, eventing, arena eventing, and dressage. Codey qualified Arena UK riding club intermediate and Onley novice SJ Championship in April/May 2023.

She will hack alone and in company, has seen all types of traffic and is unfazed. Good to load, dentist, farrier etc.

Being a thoroughbred mare, Codey does have her quirks. She is a forward thinking and responsive mare who would suit a quiet and capable rider (no novices) to continue her education in any chosen sphere. She has heaps of potential and will continue to be successful with a knowledgeable, competitive home. This mare is looking for a competition home and someone who understands the breed.

Meet Socks!

Socks is a loving, fun and honest horse.

He would be a perfect Mother/ Daughter share. He oozes quality and is correct enough to show!

Socks has raced twice over hurdles, so would be eligible for the ROR series.

Since his last race in January, he has competed in Dressage, getting nearly 69%, he’s s also been cross country schooling and is jumping a course of show jumps.
He competed in his first ROR Novice finishing 2nd, with lovely comments from the judges.
Proving to be level headed, mannerly and has taken it all in his stride.

He’s a real pleasure to have around and wants to please! We’ll keep taking him out competing whilst he’s still with us.

Meet beautiful 16.1 Brown Thoroughbred gelding Whisper, turned 6 on 23rd March.

I purchased him in August 2022 from a racing yard, he has never raced.

He is lovely and very easy to handle, shoeing, turning in and out, loading, bathing, and is getting used to being clipped.
Has very good breeding and has a deep body.

I have had all his legs scanned and there are no issues; however at the moment he is mainly only doing ground work due to a small historic pelvic injury (sustained around 2-2 ½), and so I am looking for a very competent flat work home for him as I love jumping. He has had steroid injections and I have ridden him recently and he has more expressive paces. The pelvic injury was only uncovered when we started him jumping 50-60cm in January, previous to this there were no problems and he was moving through the paces well. This is why I am confident he can excel in a dressage or possibly showing home, or as just a happy hacker, although because of the road outside our yard this has only been off road.

Bill is a super fun, kind, willing and life-loving horse ready to find his forever home and carry on his retraining in any discipline! ROR eligible - he last ran in Summer 2023 (flat only), had a well-deserved break in the paddock and started back steady away mid-december.

He is the easiest horse on the ground - I'd let a child lead and groom him! He stands tied up anywhere, he's great to bath, shoe, clip, cuddle etc. He's 100% in the stable... he'd never pull a face, bite, kick etc (people or other horses). Bill is happy to live in, out, or a mix of both.

Bill is also a super ride - he's fun, forward and has the best brain for learning. He can have a playful buck, but would never rear, spin, bolt, and he isn't at all spooky. He hacks alone in the heaviest of traffic, and will lead or follow when out in company, pop fallen logs, go through water etc. Although green in the school, he is learning at a rapid rate... Bill will canter around a course of tiny fences, his transitions are fantastic and he's a lovely mover. He really could be retrained to go into any discipline - be it dressage, eventing, showing, or just being loved and hacking around!

Bill has no lumps/bumps or nasties; he has never been injured and has clean legs. Bill loads and travels in a trailer / 2-box or big lorry.

I really really can not fault this fella... he is only for sale as I am keen to focus on my older showjumpers going in to a busy season. Due to his age and on the basis of how sentimental he is to me, Bill will absolutely not be sold to any novices or dealers.

By Gleneagles. She is most stunning mare; incredibly gentle, sweet and has the kindest nature.

She is more straightforward and uncomplicated horse with more years on her - don't let her age fool you. She has been trained correctly, handled well throughout her formative years, she has been given the most tremendous temperament and foundation. She is non-spooky, confident in heavy road and farm traffic. Rides across all types of terrain and situations, forward going in front, but happy go lucky at the back.

Snaffle mouth, but we also ride our horses in Dr Cook Bitless Bridle, out of personal preference, which are more gentle than a snaffle. She's very tolerant, but only needs a gentle hand to slow down etc.

Autumn hunted and hunted in 2022/2023/2024 - handled deep ground, hilly terrain and big open spaces and big fields (eg many on horseback!) without any hesitation, never bucked, reared or kicked. Amazing with hounds + and dogs on hacks. Doesn't pull, or speed up if others pass her at speed (eg out hunting). Can be turned away from the field (eg out hunting), gate shutting etc. Not clingy to other horses and very quiet. She's the type that can be turned out for a week and brought in and hunted, and is not remotely fresh. Easy to do and an ideal small yard horse, eg. happily turned out alone, easy to stable on her own, or in company, but some horses won't do well in a small yard and she definitely would. Equally she's used to a busy yard.

Selling her as an all rounder / pony club / hunting mare, but could equally be the most fantastic broodmare, due to her phenomenal breeding. She is a petite TB, very well put together. Raced on the flat and jumps.

Loads in a lorry and trailer, not fussy, doesn't spook, easy in or out, rugged, clipped etc, shod, teeth etc, eats well, easy to keep. Not fussy, doesn't crib/chew etc. She's in exceptional health and only stopped racing due to lack of speed and the syndicate wanted a winner and weren't interested in keeping her as a broodmare. I've had her since then, and hunted her.

Must either be sold as a potential broodmare due to her breeding lines, or to a private family / private owner. No riding schools or novice homes, she is the most incredible horse and I will only sell to someone who can appreciate her for what she is.

She IS ironically suitable for a novice rider, but must be placed in a proper, knowledgeable home. Suitable for a teenager, mother/daughter and equally would be a fantastic all rounder, hacking, showing, eventing mare, but I will be picky where she goes.

She has lovely paces, walk, trot and canter, but her dressage work I have not invested time in, as I focused on her hunting training. Sh is very willing. Her dressage work is what I would be focusing on now if I was to keep her.

Meet Sparky.

This lovely girl is looking for her new home where she’ll be given all the love and care she needs. She has a lovely kind personality and will stand to be groomed all day long and have cuddles. Spent some time on the track but she was far too slow and it was never going to be for her - retired fully sound.

She’d benefit from some downtime in the field but equally no reason she could crack on with a job. She hasn’t been in any ridden work since deciding she wasn’t going to be a racehorse at the end of February. Good to handle in all ways but is forward to lead so needs someone experienced.

She had mud fever quite badly so stayed in the stable for about 10 days which she was super tolerant and happy with. This has delayed her retraining so now offered at a bargain price as she is due to lack of time.

Up to date with all vaccinations, feet and worming. No injuries or vices.
