16.2hh TB chestnut Gelding 8yrs

Pencil could easily be mistaken for an Irish sports horse without his Wetherbys passport!

He is a lovely stamp of a horse with uphill paces, an intelligent trainable attitude, and a naturally scopey careful jump.

Pencil has been out of training 12 months and in this time he has proven himself to be very versatile in lots of scenarios. Pencil will hack with a novice mum or a want-to-have fun teenager, hunt, xc and sj competitively at stay away shows, be picked up and put down where he comes back just the same, and goes in the school willing to try and learn any new task asked of him.

Pencil is by no means the finished article, he works through correctly on the bridle nicely into the hand in walk, trot, and canter, but he is still re training being a former race horse. ROR and TAP eligible, for him to excel in a new career he would benefit from regular outings and continued training to build on this foundation. However he would equally suit someone who just wanted a nice horse to ride.

Pencil has very good manners although he is not a cuddly, fussy horse. He is a good doer who will live in or out. He does have a couple of non interfering splints and an old sarcoid scar but otherwise is fit and well having passed a vetting with neck and back x rays 12 months ago.

Lack of time and college commitment forces sale of this genuine versatile horse who could suit a variety of riders.

Millstreet 4yo 16.1h TB gelding.

Mac is a super sweet boy who has taken to retraining like a pro. He is easy to handle, loves a fuss. Clean limbed, retired sound from racing, just wasn’t fast enough.

Going well on the flat, 3 correct paces, would easily do dressage or show.

Plenty of jump, not phased by fillers. Jumped up to 95cm on a ticket. XC schooled and also jumped clear around the Cotswold novice team chase with the team finishing 12th out of 52 teams. Would easily BS or event. Although he has done enough to see a range of different things he has done a limited number of outings with plenty of downtime in between. He’s been brought along slowly and correctly with his future in mind.

Hacks out, has been good in traffic and in open spaces. He s a lovely horse who could go on to do any job. Good to clip, load shoe etc. Based in south wales near Cardiff. No offers, an absolute steal at this price to a nice home. Only reduced due to lack of stable space.

7 year old TB Chesnut gelding 15.3

A very sad sale of a super all rounder. Rockett is a very genuine horse who has competed up to BE90 with top ten results.

He is a beautiful horse to ride, with a soft mouth and rhythmical places, the judges love him. He won a ROR regional championship with over 70%. Regularly 68% at BD novice. He is extremely trainable and enjoys his work.

He is an extremely honest jumper, happily will take a miss and find a fifth leg to help you out. Completely unphased but what he jumps with plenty of scope he would be perfect for some aiming at Badminton Grassroots. He has also been placed at ROR worker classes at county level. Enjoys beach rides hacking alone & in company.

Rockett has the kindest temperament and wonderful manners. He easiest horse to shod / clip / box / stable etc.

He can be ridden bareback to the field - he really is the perfect gentleman.

5 star homes only please.

17h black French Thoroughbred, Ex racer.

Very eye catching with great confirmation, would be a excellent candidate for ROR both in-hand and ridden.

Hacks out alone and in company, did have a tendon injury 2 years ago but has had the relivent time and rehab therefore he is better suited to a non jumping home.

Only selling due to large vet bill on another horse.

Sold from field

Tack and rugs available by separate negotiation

Moon of Baruda
Top class ROR but would excel at all Riding Club activities.
Fully up to date with teeth & vaccinations.
Good to clip, trim, farrier, catch, bath & wll always load & travel well. He will stand on the box on his own at a show all day.

Moon is a smart, correct, compact little horse who would benefit from a 1:1 home or part of a larger group as he does get very attached when living with just one other - happy to discuss.

Loves to jump and we’ve competed in sj, hunter trials and an 80cm ODE.
Been to the beach and on a couple of fun rides. Hacks alone or in company and seen all types of traffic.

Would suit a competent, keen teenager/small adult who wants to go out competing in a variety of disciplines.

Lots more photos & videos available upon request.

This is a very sad difficult decision and one purely based on lack of time due to family & work commitments.

Based Devon/Cornwall border.

Reggie last ran in May and has had some well deserved downtime over the summer before starting his retraining recently. He is ready for his own person now.

He does basic flatwork, he has three balanced free paces and carries himself well. He has an impressive movement and really covers the ground. He is light and soft in your hand.

He happily pops a course of basic 90cm showjumps. He never rushes and he has bags of scope. Always making a lovely shape. The bigger the better. Bold and brave.

He is a very quiet straightforward ride, he is a kick along! If you stop kicking he will stop. He is very much more slow than go and as close to bombproof as you’ll find. He is just a very genuine chap. He is well mannered with a very genuine character, loves fuss and a brush. Happily stands tied up in the yard or ridden straight from the field.

He has hacked out alone or in company around open fields & lanes, he isn’t fazed by anything. He is a very easy going person, never buzzy or silly. Lives in & out alone or in company. Good to shoe, box & travel.

No previous injuries. No blemishes. No vices. No sarcoids.

No loans. No payment plans. No timewasters or day trippers we are a busy yard. Serious enquiries only.
