For your consideration stands Bilbo, an eye-catching 4 year old Irish Draught gelding by Dunsandle Diamond out of a Agherlow x Star Kingdom mare. Bilbo is a very good looking young horse with a very kind temperament.

Bilbo has been produced slowly and was shown at national shows. His greatest accolades to date are:

1st Ridden Irish Draught Kilbride

3rd 4-yr-old HW Royal Barlmoral Show

4th 4 yr-old Ridden ID Royal Balmoral Show out of a field of 15

1st Ridden ID Ballyfoyle and stood 2nd Reserve Champion

2nd HW RIHS 2027 qualifier Killusty

The consensus by all English judges was that Bilbo is a horse with a bright competitive future, as he is a what they called true to type HW.

In all these shows, including Balmoral, he required minimal warm up time and was not fazed by the atmosphere.

Bilbo is the kind of horse that you can leave off for a week and just hop on. He was broken at the turn of the year and has been absolutely uncomplicated. I can truly say that Bilbo does not have a bad bone in his body, albeit he can be a little spooky at times. He has since enjoyed a realistic and kind education, which had his future and longevity in mind. This means that he has not been forced into an 8-yr-old outline, but is learning to carry himself naturally. He is hacking multiple time per week, both in company and alone, with and without the farm dogs. He has been at beach rides and belly deep into the water, proofing to be sensible and honest. Having done the odd jump for variation, he showed his willingness again and his honesty.

He is good to shoe, clip, in traffic and up to date with the dentist, vaccinations, etc.

He stands in Ireland and any viewing are very welcome. This wonderful horse deserves a good home in which he can continue to develop and reach his full potential.

Bertie is a super smart ROR, he will excel in eventing and would be a prime candidate to aim for the Cornbury racehorse challenge - although he could do anything as he has a real sensible head on his shoulders and could just as much hack around the lanes and be your best friend.

He finished racing at the end of last year and had a lot of downtime before I got him. Although he is 7, he is a big framed horse and does still need time to fill out and strengthen up. I have taken him to arena hires, clinics and cross country schooling and he is very sensible out and about as well as hacking. Other horses don’t seem to upset him, in fact he doesn’t really seem to be phased by much!

I have recently had his teeth done and he has seen the physio, as I said above he does need to time to develop so I haven’t pushed him and we spend a lot of time hacking up and down hills to try and build up his hind end. He moves beautifully and has a really lovely balanced canter, he is very sensible to a fence (and away!) and is proving to be very brave.

He is very easy to deal with and currently lives in with daily turnout, he is shod all round and has been very good to do, I haven’t clipped him since I have had him. I travel him in a trailer but was also
told he loads and travels well in a horsebox.

He really will be your best friend and is a very trusting genuine horse that seems to love everyone! If I could find an owner for him he really wouldn’t be going anywhere but I just cannot afford to run 2. I would also happily keep him with me once sold for further producing or teaching for you and help during the changeover period. Lots of options available. I really do want to see him in the best home and be given every opportunity for success.

The most fun little horse , perfect teenagers fun or would suit an elder lady in riding club wanting to compete grass routes.

If your wanting a 90-100 horse that’s ready to go and have some fun on this mare this is a cheap horse for someone, sad sale due to owner’s circumstances Tara is actively looking for her next person.

16hh , 9yr old bay mare , Tara is ROR elidgable after running only 3 times as a 5yr old.
Tara has British evented to 90, and unaffiliated SJ, DR , fun rides, hunting, pony club camps , she took a 10yr old girl to pony club camp due to her pony not being fit to go. She was perfectly behaved for her.

Tara is good in all ways, she’s not a plod , current owners brought her with the view to continue her eventing but with a busy job and a growing family forces sale, she was used to ride and lead with a nervous young child and pony when not in full work she could put in a very rare excitable buck.

Tara is good to catch, clip, shoe, trim, load , travel, stands at the moutin block, good with mares and geldings, good in traffic. Hacks alone or in company.

When Tara was purchased with current owners 3 years ago she passed a 5 stage vetting, this is avaible to be sold with her.

Tara isn’t phased by fillers, ditches or water

Tara is looking for a loving home and homes will be vetted .

Price in comments.
