For sale from a private genuine loving home, a pretty and sweet natured 15.2-15.3hh 15 y.o very well bred Weatherby's National Hunt ex racehorse Thoroughbred mare who has been a mum for the last 6 years of her life.

Now needs a new experienced home either as a proven broodmare or could be brought back into work with the right person. She did race, just didn't like it so she is ROR eligible.

She apparently did do a bit of show jumping and cross country in-between racing and being a mum before her current home where she has just been a broodmare for the last few years.

She has been an incredible broodmare producing outstanding wonderful natured and strongly built offspring. Has taken first time both naturally and via AI. Foals easily and is a great mum, just knows her job well.

She is a very good do-er with no health issues and good feet. Upto date with vaccines, teeth rasped every year and is on a worming programme with consistantly clear worm counts.

She is used to being with mares and geldings but is scared of being bullied so needs quieter companions.

She is good to handle and transport.

Cracker loves to jump. He is bold and brave into a fence, and will rarely ever knock a pole. He is clever and will sort out his strides out himself. Our lovely 8-year-old, 15.3hh Thoroughbred mare, Daisy (Doubleforfun), is now looking for her next partner. An ex-racehorse with excellent breeding, she ran three races but was just too slow for the track. She is RoR registered and has been carefully and sympathetically retrained for a second career.

Snaffle mouthed at all times and schooling well on the flat, she has competed in unaffiliated dressage and show jumping, and has enjoyed cross-country schooling up to 90cm. Daisy is very laid back most of the time, but as a Thoroughbred, she can still have her TB moments. She hacks alone, though she prefers company, and generally feels more secure with a friend nearby. This sale is reluctant but my daughter moved onto higher levels a while ago. Lex has spent the last 3 years as one of our therapy horses. She is gentle and safe around children and is the most popular horse choice to work with. However she likes to go out, and is lacking a rider here, her part loaner having moved on to Uni last year. Lexi has had a year off ridden work and has been at grass. She has been gently brought back under saddle this spring, is now hacking fit, and ready to restart schooling with a new partner.

Lexi thrives on connection. Give her the love, and she will give the world to a quiet balanced rider with soft hands. She always try’s her best and is a quick learner. She is a lovely hack, happy first or last. She hacks on her own, she may head home a little more forward but wont jig-jog. She is snaffle mouthed at all times. No vices, other than a dislike of fly sprays! No lumps or bumps. She has a few scars on her legs, but these are cosmetic.

He has the most amazing temperament both ridden and on the ground, anyone can handle him and has even been led around by an 8 year old girl. He is the most super hack, alone or in company and has regularly been hacking out with my young children on small ponies, proving to be the perfect nanny and so he would be perfect to join in with family life or even a mother/teenager share. Although he is a big horse, he doesn’t ride massive, I’m only 5ft 4 and feel very comfortable on him so could suit a lady, gent or teenager.

Freddie is a stunning 9yo, 16.3hh bay gelding, bred by Juddmonte and by top USA stallion Quality Road; registered as Donate with full history known from a foal.

The quality of his breeding is clear to see, as he is a great example of a classic TB with lots of bone, good conformation and visually very impressive. Freddie ran a handful of times on the flat and in 2 P2Ps in Ireland and was just too slow and not made for racing.

We have been retraining Freddie since we purchased him from Ireland in 2021. He is good to hack alone or in company, good to catch, shoe, box etc. Well schooled on the flat, competed in UA Dressage, Arena Eventing, Show Jumping and enjoyed XC schooling up to 90cm and UA ODEs.

Freddie has plenty of scope with potential to go up the levels in time; he is currently most comfortable popping 80-90cm fences and courses, where he is developing confidence and really starting to take you into a fence. Freddie won his two arena eventing outings this spring and is qualified for the 80cm National Arena Eventing Championships at Elland Lodge next year. He has also undertaken some RoR showing, winning championships at local shows and we feel he could really excel in the show ring.

Freddie is not your typical TB, in that he is definitely more of a kick than pull type and is ridden in a snaffle and cavesson at all times.

He would be perfect for a competent rider to do a bit of everything with and have some fun on, or to be more focused down the eventing, dressage or showing route. Whilst Freddie is very laid back most of the time, he can still have TB moments, where he takes confidence from the rider, so only a knowledgeable and competent home with experience of TBs for this lovely chap.

Flight to Australia force the sale of a much loved horse.

Time Bandit is an athletic, well put together horse who has competed with confidence in eventing, showjumping, dressage and showing.

He moves and jumps well, with an exceptional walk and uphill canter.

I have predominantly evented Percy at BE90 & BE100, if I could use a stop watch I could say with great success! Before I fly I have a few BE100s lined up however, I believe Percy has the quality to go much further than this. He is brave and fast xc never having a jumping fault. So would be handy at Team Chasing.

We have also dabbled in showjumping and showing, jumping up to discovery on a ticket getting one rider error pole. And receiving great feedback from showing judges who all have really liked him.

Last year he qualified for the ROR championship and was one place away from qualifying for the Rising Stars Racehorse to Riding Horse Championship at London International - if I put more time into this discipline we could have gone to some cool places I’m sure.

Percy raced over hurdles before I purchased him in October 2022 straight after his last race, injury free. Whilst I was focusing on my final year of University (2024) he went to a retired 5* event rider for some schooling and this has really improved his way of going.

He hacks out alone or in company, and jumps around the farm. Always snaffled mouthed.

Is an absolute gentleman on the ground, perfect to clip, shoe, travel etc. I have taken him places by myself and he’s easy.

He’s feet are good, I think he’s lost one shoe in the three years I’ve had him!
