Pearl is low mileage, she has been a happy hacker on a family farm for the last year and just started schooling work which she has taken in her stride. She is a very exciting project!

Pearl is a sweetheart on the ground and ridden. Great to hack both in company and alone. Good even on open ground and with more of the basics on the flat she will be Riding Club capable.

Fantastic stamp of a horse. Sound as a pound and I would trust her being handled by a kid. Has superb movement and honest and keen jumper, just green, potential for more with the right person.

She has no vices in or out of the stable, and turns out in a mixed herd with no issues. She has just had her teeth and feet done and all good. She’s a pleasure to have on the yard and enjoys attention. She is not mare-ish in any way. Snaffle mouthed.

Can sort transport as well :)

  • Looking for a safe, sensible horse
  • For hacking (alone and in company) and low level dressage
  • 14.2 - 16hh, gelding preferred

Looking for a safe, sensible horse for hacking (alone and in company) and low level dressage. I am a competent rider but prefer a quieter ride these days! Does not need to jump.

14.2 - 16hh, gelding preferred.

Flexible on age, breed etc and able to manage health conditions as my husband is an equine vet.

5* home awaits with roomy stables and all year round turnout. Companions would be my semi-retired gelding and our Shetland pony.

Happy to provide references, ridden photos etc.

Huncho is a 16.1 ISH homebred we have slowly produced to become the lovely horse he is today. Born on our farm in June 2020 we know his full history and everything there is to know about him.

Having lightly backed him in 2023 then turned away till spring 2024. Since then we have been producing him slowly in preparation for his competition career.

He has regularly xc schooled and been to training shows and schooling over the summer as well as doing some fun rides. Behaving exceptionally well not phased by anything. never strong and always snaffle mouthed.

In the school he has 3 lovely passes with lots of movement. He’s very up hill and light in the mouth. He is forward off the leg but not over sensitive and in time would also make a lovely dressage horse.

Huncho has had the best of care, so up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth and physio checks.

He is a pleasure to handle and easy to clip, shoe, load and hack. Used to farm machinery and animals lives in or out currently in a mixed herd. Open to vettings and x rays

This lovely, straight forward horse will make someone a best friend for life, he has no hang ups or health issues, just a super honest boy.

Sadly only for sale as he didn’t make the height we wanted and still have his mother who is his replica we cannot part with and now have to many!

Due to his age, no novices please although he is amateur friendly.

Buster – A True Gentle Giant
Registered Clydesdale Gelding | 17hh | 4 Years Old

Although only four years of age, Buster possesses the wisdom and steadiness of a much older horse. A fully registered bay Clydesdale gelding standing at an impressive 17hh, he is a calm, dependable presence who brings confidence to every rider he meets. His quiet temperament, impeccable manners, and forgiving nature make him an exceptional choice for novice, nervous, or mature riders looking to enjoy their equestrian pursuits at a relaxed pace.

Currently working in a riding school, Buster is regularly ridden by individuals of all abilities—from competent beginners to more advanced riders. He is incredibly steady and never reacts adversely to rider mistakes; if a rider loses balance or a stirrup, he gently returns to a walk without hesitation. Buster is best described as having “more whoa than go,” making him a safe, thoughtful, and patient partner both in and out of the arena.

While Buster is still relatively green in the school, he is eager to learn. Though new to poles and certain ridden exercises, he approaches each new task with a genuine willingness and calm disposition. He is not spooky or reactive—just still developing his understanding. As a blank canvas, he offers the perfect opportunity for a more experienced rider to guide his progress and help shape his education. With time and consistency, he shows promise in working in a soft outline, he is developing good balance, lateral movement, and responsiveness to aids. He is also willing to pop a small fence or log with quiet enthusiasm.

Buster hacks out confidently alone or in company and is entirely unfazed by the most challenging environments. He remains calm when faced with heavy traffic, including buses, tractors, lorries, and large agricultural machinery. He will wait patiently at roundabouts or traffic lights and never reacts with fear or tension. On open ground, he stays composed at all paces, whether leading, following, or riding solo. He never pulls, rushes, or attempts to overtake—even when returning home.

His exceptional manners extend to every aspect of handling. Buster is easy to catch, groom, bath, load, clip, and handle for the vet, dentist, and farrier. He currently lives barefoot but has previously been shod and is comfortable with either. He stands quietly for long periods without any restraint, happily enjoying being groomed and pampered. Children regularly lead and handle him without issue, and he will calmly stand at the mounting block until the rider is comfortably in the saddle, regardless of how long it takes.

Buster is a genuine confidence-giver who can be left unridden for weeks or even months and still be safe and consistent when brought back into work. He is incredibly low maintenance. He has never suffered from laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or lameness, and has passed all annual riding school inspections with flying colours (equivalent to a Stage 2 vetting).

He currently lives out at night in a large mixed herd and stabled during the day but is equally content stabled or turned out full time, he is happy to be stabled / turned out solo, he is not clingy at all, he absolutely loves people and attention and adores a cuddle. He is quiet, independent, and never causes trouble in the field or stable. Buster could excel at low-level competition, fun rides, beach rides, or simply continue to be a safe and enjoyable hacking partner.

This is a heartbreaking sale, as we regularly rotate our riding school horses to offer them the chance to experience one-to-one private homes. Buster is truly one in a million, and he deserves a five-star home where he can continue to be appreciated for the wonderful horse he is.

Brady has just retired from racing and is ready for someone to put their own stamp on.

Brady does basic flatwork, she has three balanced flashy paces and carries herself correctly. She has the most wonderful trot which catches the eye.

She happily pops a course of basic 80cm showjumps. She doesn’t rush, she has a very scopey and careful jump. The bigger the better. She is a quiet straightforward ride, doesn’t needs lots of leg. Her owners older family members were happily hacking her out whilst she was in Jersey so she is as close to bombproof as you’ll find.

She is well mannered with a very genuine character and loves fuss.
Has hacked out alone or in company around open fields & lanes, she isn’t fazed by anything. She is a very easy going person, never buzzy or silly.
Lives in & out alone or in company. Good to shoe, box & travel. No vices.

Please note she does have a small 50p size sarcoid on her belly which doesn’t affect her in any way or interfere with anything.

Home is important and current owner would like to be kept in touch with updates.

Bee has proven herself to be fantastic in all disciplines.

I have owned Bee for the past 5 years. During this time, I’ve competed her in dressage (affiliated and unaffiliated) and showjumping (unaffiliated and affiliated with her previous owner).

My main passion is trial hunting which Bee absolutely excels in. She is happy to be anywhere in the field and is a pleasure to gate shut on. She could be described as a perfect hunter. She will jump anything that is in her way, hedges, ditches, gates.

Bee is easy in all ways, both on the ground and when mounted; she is happy around farriers, vets, dentists, and good to be clipped. Will travel happily in both a trailer and lorry.

She would suit a mother daughter share, or any child looking to participate and/or compete in PC, hunting activities with a competent rider. She is excellent in traffic, seen through us having to cross the A350 daily.

Bee allowed me to have my dream and ride my pony to Prom showing her level of safety.

This is a sad sale and is purely due to me going to Uni. Endless reference available. More photos and videos available to.

Hanson is an absolute dream to have around, he is super to bath, clip, shoe, dentist, load, travel.

He has spent most of his life in a hacking/ riding school home. Since I’ve had him we have had so much fun. We have been out to hound exercise multiple times and he thoroughly enjoys this! Very relaxed, calm, will go at the back, and goes in a snaffle. He stands quietly at the pub whilst I have a drink or a bowl of chips!

He has been out XC schooling a few times and loves this! He’s popped 1.25 hedges with ease! He is not spooky or scared of Any ditches or timber. He has done a little show jumping but it’s really not my thing, although he always wants to please.

He hacks alone or in company and in the HEAVIEST of traffic, he doesn’t bat an eyelid. He is 100% in open spaces.

I don’t have a school at home so we regularly ride in the fields at home or hack out. I am always chucking him on the box and heading off to arena / XC hires and fun rides.

He’s got lovely clean limbs, nice conformation and good feet. He has no vices or medical issues.

I am looking for a home that wants to crack on and have fun! He is ready to go and make someone really happy. An ideal home for him would be a hacking / hunting home, or someone who wants to put a bit of time into his schooling because he could be a really cool event horse with some time!

He has never bucked, reared, spun, or bolted. I would say he is suitable for a decent novice!

Lovely, big-moving Irish Draught mare with exceptional breeding and presence.
• Schooling: Three balanced paces, works nicely in an outline.

• Cross Country: Absolutely loves it! Bold, scopey jump – happily pops timber, hedges, ditches, and straight in/out of water.
• Other: Loves a gallop on the beach, stands all day to be groomed and bathed. Good to catch, load, clip, and shoe. No lumps, bumps, or vices.

Kev is a really special chap who has a truly wonderful temperament and plenty of ability to match.

He has very attractive paces and is naturally uphill and incredibly rideable. He has competed at prelim level BD, gaining 20 points in just four outings with three wins including a score of over 73%. He could really excel in this discipline.

He has an exceptional jumping technique and a good instinct to leave the poles up. He sometimes lacks a bit of confidence in the show jumping so would benefit from gaining a little more mileage in this phase.

He has been very consistent XC and gained 5/5 clear rounds inside the time at BE90 level this season. He travels well without being strong and is genuine and straight.

Eligible for ROR having previously done two seasons point to pointing.

Snaffle mouth for all phases.

Lovely to hack, both alone and in company.

A dream to have on the yard and very easy to do. Stands beautifully tied to the lorry at competitions.

Super home sought for this lovely boy having been with the same owners since he started racing.

Blackie is the ultimate leisure/pleasure all-rounder with a golden temperament. He is offered for sale on behalf of his owner who’s circumstances have sadly changed leaving no time for him. He is a 15h 5 year old (going on 10!) black Irish cob gelding. He is a real stunning quality stamp who catches the eye where ever he goes. He is gorgeous inside and outside to match and will make someone a horse of a life time for sure. He has good conformation, clean limbs and straight movement. He is such a desirable type as he is a great size for everyone to ride from children to teenagers and adults alike; he would be perfect for a mother/daughter share or family horse for everyone to enjoy. He really excels as a pleasure horse to take on sponsored rides, happy hacks, horse holidays, beach rides, and to do low level riding club on. And best of all he is super safe and very genuine and honest with a quiet gentle temperament.

Blackie is super to hack, he has done more hacking in company due to his owner’s preference but he does also go alone. He has done lots of hacking in groups and trekking through the country side on an easy rein. He is very sensible in open spaces and will happily canter at the back of the group without getting strong or competitive. You can drop you reins on him in canter and he won’t run away, in fact quite the opposite. He is great with traffic and hacks straight out onto a busy through road where traffic goes flying past him. He is super with arctic Lorries and tractors passing him too. He is a lovely medium to ride when out hacking which makes him a real pleasure to ride. He has been on lots of pleasure rides which he really does excel at, he gives other horses confidence as he is such a calm influence. He is so much fun on pleasure rides and always makes you smile and have a good ride. He has been on beach rides where he is always fantastically behaved and loves the water. He would be the ideal type to take on horse holidays and enjoy hours of exploring together as he is super comfy too and relaxed in new places. He has also hunted in Ireland with a 13 year old girl where he proved safe and steady so would also suit a hunting home. He would also excel in a trekking centre.

Blackie has good basic schooling established with lovely natural paces. His paces are very smooth and comfortable. He is a steady ride in the school and does need some leg from his rider to keep him going. This makes his rider feel very safe and confident. He has been ridden by novices as well as more competent riders and adapts well. He has also been ridden by children and really looked after them. He is snaffle mouthed for everything with a lovely light mouth. He is very forgiving and doesn't mind if his rider loses balance or misses a beat, he will just slow down and let you catch your balance. He is a basic walk, trot and canter in the school, can sometimes get the wrong canter lead on one rein as he is more used to cantering in straight lines on a hack. He has also just learnt walk to canter which he does very well so he is very willing and trainable. He is alos starting to work in a nice outline. He could easily school up and do some dressage as his paces are good and he has a lovely rhythm. He would suit a wide range of riders from competent novices through to more experienced riders that just want a straight forward easy going ride that they can pick up and put down as he doesn’t require daily riding to keep sane.

Blackie enjoys his jumping. He is very honest and genuine to jump, he looks after his rider and will happily just trot in or equally come in canter. He doesn’t get at all strong or fizzy, juts super easy and straight forward. He is a very much point and aim type who helps his rider out. He isn’t a world beater but enjoys to have a go and has jumped around 80cm. He jumps fillers and water trays. He has been to some local training shows and unaffiliated comps in Ireland as well as pony club. He has also been xc schooling several times where he was such a good boy.. Hes very confident and jumps everything first attempt including ditches and water. He is a very straight forward ride and takes his rider into the fences nice and confidently but remains steady and very safe and sensible. He would excel at hunter trails as well as being suitable for all low level pony club and riding club activities.

Blackie has a superb quiet temperament. He really is such a nice sweet person who wants to be everyone’s friend and wouldn’t hurt a fly. He is easy to handle and is very polite with manners to burn. He loves to be groomed and pampered. He is such a kind loving boy who is very gentle and calm. He is very good to catch, bath, shoe, load, catch ect. He will live alone or in company and in or out, he just goes with the flow and is bottom of the pecking order. He would make a wonderful addition to a family.

He would make the perfect leisure/pleasure horse for hours of hacking and fun rides with some bits of riding club thrown in for fun. It is really important to his owner that Blackie finds a 10* home where he will be loved and enjoyed.

Toy Story (Woody) is a really smart, 16hh, 6year, Irish gelding.

Owned since a 4 year old and bought on slowly due to his age, size and my lack of confidence.

He learns quickly and wants to please. He has been trained and competed in most low level riding club activities, dressage, arena eventing, xc, show jumping and is not phased by all types of fillers, walls, planks etc. Very bold and honest. Always snaffle mouth.

Works nicely on the flat, with 3 good paces and winning, with good scores, at intro and prelim.

Now ready to fufill his potential and move up the levels, in any discipline. Very exciting prospect, with more miles on the clock.

He is friends with everyone and everything and a lovely boy on the ground. Good to do in all ways, shoe, clip etc, loads and travels on a trailer or lorry. Hacks out and is good in traffic.

No vices, open to vet.
