Lindt is a 16.2hh chestnut British bred Hanoverian with top quality pedigree. He is by DiMaggio out of a Weltmeyer mare and is 13 years young. He is actively competing at small tour and is working towards grand prix at home (established one time changes, playing with passage and half steps). He's a very healthy, stoic horse with no exclusions on his insurance and we would expect him to sail through a 5 stage vetting and x-rays.
Below are a few highlights from his career:
- 5th in the advanced medium open winter regionals (2015) on just under 70%, qualified for Hartpury and finished middle of the class
- 6th in the Inter 1 regionals (summer 2015) on 67.8%
- 2nd in PSG freestyle winter regionals (2016) on over 72%, finished 10th at Hartpury
- 2nd in the Inter 1 summer regionals (2016), narrowly missing out on a place at the Nationals
- He's had top ten placings at small tour at premier leagues and scores of over 68% at PSG and 67% at Inter 1 putting him in contention for international selection
- 2nd in PSG freestyle winter regionals (2017)
- He was on the reserve list for the Keysoe CDI in March this year.
- He is qualified for the PSG summer regionals this summer 2017 and has started his qualification for Inter 1
For the last two years I have done a demo with him at the country fair they have on our estate (it's like a mini county show). There was everything you could imagine surrounding the arena - pens with various animals in, fire engines, a shelter skelter, marquees, burger vans, screaming children with balloons - and he was a total hero.
He is a brilliant hack, alone or in company.
I've popped a few fences on him in the past just for fun, and the odd log etc out hacking.
He's a complete gent to handle, easy to shoe, catch, load, clip (although sedalin needed for his head). Very friendly and affectionate.
He's had the same owner and rider since he was 4 years old and was bought from his breeder, Suzanne Lavendera at the Keystone stud as a 4 yr old so full history known.
He would not be suitable as a schoolmaster for a novice rider as he's competition fit mentally and physically.
His owner and I would love to find him a home where he will be adored as much as he is here and can continue his competitive career.
