I am a keen amateur who is looking for a quality young gelding to bring up the grades

The ideal horse will be:

• A middleweight gelding who is 16:2 to 17hh. Aged 5 or 6 who has started basic training with a good uphill rhythm in all paces. Can hack alone or in company without losing the plot! Can travel on his own quietly. Is friendly towards other geldings in a field. I don't mind if he doesn't care to jump!
• I offer a fantastic 5* home where he will continue to be produced by myself, with regular professional training. He will not be over competed and will have lots of love and attention. Being bought to replace my dressage horse who I produced from 4yr old, now retired due to injury
• My budget is £5000. He will be vetted

Hannah moved to a professional dressage yard 2 years ago which has motivated her to concentrate on dressage, hence her novice eventer has been sold and we are looking for a established medium/advanced medium gelding that can help take Hannah from elementary up through the levels

An older horse, or a younger elementary level horse with the ability and temperament to progress would be considered

We have excellent facilities and extremely knowledgeable support for the care of horses, so a horse with manageable health issues would also be considered

Three good paces with a very big walk (has scored 9s) and good uphill balanced canter, nicely put together with correct conformation and active hindleg

Qualified for the badminton young horse final last year and was placed top ten in the potential international class which was his first competition

Has scored up to 71 % in novice BD classes and is training elementary at home

Has been loose schooled over a fence and is brave and shows very good technique and scope but is untried in this area

Needs a competent rider as he is a sensitive horse and would not suit a novice
