Decandra LDS is a tall elegant mare who is proving to be a bold and confident individual.

Bred for Dressage, but would also make a top level event horse due to her quick and active hind leg and incredible ground cover.

'Dora' has a beautiful shoulder action which makes her very flashy and a real contender for the young horse classes.

To make 16.2hh+.

Lindt is a 16.2hh chestnut British bred Hanoverian with top quality pedigree. He is by DiMaggio out of a Weltmeyer mare and is 13 years young. He is actively competing at small tour and is working towards grand prix at home (established one time changes, playing with passage and half steps). He's a very healthy, stoic horse with no exclusions on his insurance and we would expect him to sail through a 5 stage vetting and x-rays.

Below are a few highlights from his career:

  • 5th in the advanced medium open winter regionals (2015) on just under 70%, qualified for Hartpury and finished middle of the class
  • 6th in the Inter 1 regionals (summer 2015) on 67.8%
  • 2nd in PSG freestyle winter regionals (2016) on over 72%, finished 10th at Hartpury
  • 2nd in the Inter 1 summer regionals (2016), narrowly missing out on a place at the Nationals
  • He's had top ten placings at small tour at premier leagues and scores of over 68% at PSG and 67% at Inter 1 putting him in contention for international selection
  • 2nd in PSG freestyle winter regionals (2017)
  • He was on the reserve list for the Keysoe CDI in March this year.
  • He is qualified for the PSG summer regionals this summer 2017 and has started his qualification for Inter 1

For the last two years I have done a demo with him at the country fair they have on our estate (it's like a mini county show). There was everything you could imagine surrounding the arena - pens with various animals in, fire engines, a shelter skelter, marquees, burger vans, screaming children with balloons - and he was a total hero.

He is a brilliant hack, alone or in company.

I've popped a few fences on him in the past just for fun, and the odd log etc out hacking.

He's a complete gent to handle, easy to shoe, catch, load, clip (although sedalin needed for his head). Very friendly and affectionate.

He's had the same owner and rider since he was 4 years old and was bought from his breeder, Suzanne Lavendera at the Keystone stud as a 4 yr old so full history known.

He would not be suitable as a schoolmaster for a novice rider as he's competition fit mentally and physically.

His owner and I would love to find him a home where he will be adored as much as he is here and can continue his competitive career.

15.1hh 5 year old mare homebred by Glocks Voice x Upper Lady that would suit a talented child coming off ponies or ambitions child wanting to ride Internationally in the Children on Horses Classes or a small adult wanting to go through the levels.

She has 3 super paces, easy temperament and a beautiful trainable brain. Having been backed at Westcroft Equestrian by Tracey Collis and her team she came home in September 2016 and has been ridden by my 14 year old daughter, a Pony Dressage rider. She has been produced slowly and correctly.

She has had experience of competitions both locally and overnight stays and her last show with my daughter she gained 70% at Prelim.

Really easy in every way to load, travel, with farrier, live in or out.

We hack out regularly with her, usually in company but we have started to hack her solo. She is as good as gold, through woods and open spaces and seeing lots of farm equipment.

Only for sale as she is too small for my daughter.

We are located 5 mins from J6 off M40.

I have owned cougan for the past 4 yrs and it has been a joy. In his previous home he competed SJ but with me we have focused on DR. He has started to compete in Elementary with his first outing scoring 77%, training medium at home.

He is looking for a DR home where he can continue with his training as he loves to learn.

He also still enjoys SJ and would happily pop round a course for you. He also enjoys hacking but is better in company. The only thing he doesn't like is water. He is snaffle mouthed for all disciplines.

Cougan needs a capable confident and knowledge rider no novices please. He learns from his rider and needs someone to guide him. He is very intelligent and picks things up quickly training him is a pleasure.

He is only for sale as I have taken him as far as I am capable of but Cougan can go much further. He now needs a more experienced rider.

He is a super talented boy who will go far.

Upto date with all.

Easy to handle very well behaved, loading, farrier etc... Clipping easy apart from his head.

If you feel you could offer cougan the right home please contact me on

Heavenly VDC is an exceptionally talented, well bred, gorgeous little mare. Her sire was a grand prix dressage horse in Spain and she has all the attributes to go to that level. Whatever you want to do with Heavenly she would turn her hand to; liberty work, high school, straightness training, gymkhana, driving - she could do it all. She has three correct paces, which are elegant and super collectable.

I took on Heavenly to bring on and sell so I am looking for the right person her. She does need a person who understand intelligent sensitive horses. She wouldn't take kindly to any rough uneducated training. She has all her basic schooling and goes with a relaxed soft top line and will pop a fence. She loves lateral work and is superb at following your seat into the movements. She has begun Spanish walk from the ground and loves activities like this.

Heavenly was recently used as a demo horse in 'an introduction to liberty work' clinic with Ben Atkinson (stuntrider.co.uk), where she effortlessly took to the basic liberty work. She proved to be very responsive to this kind of training even in front of a good crowd. She was walking and trotting around with Ben with nothing attached to her in under 30mins.

Our yard is a busy competition and livery yard and Heavenly can find all the goings on quite exciting sometimes. It would be great for her to find a home that can continue to build her confidence and understand how to help her develop her focus even more. Her ideal rider would have light hands, a secure educated seat and a love of sharp intelligent horses to work with.

Her history is known from birth. Very cheap to keep and easy to handle.

This strikingly beautiful 9 year old KWPN stallion has naturally loose and uphill movements which cover the ground with great ease. All three of his paces are naturally expressive and whatever you ask of him he performs with ease and grace. Exquisite has a loveable and charming character which makes him so reliable both at home and in the competition arena, nothing phases this chap.

It was Ian’s experienced eye which saw the phenomenal potential in the 16.1hh stallion. His sire Lord Loxley was Bundeschampion of the five year old Dressage Horse in Verden, and five year old reserve champion Young Dressage Horse of 2004. He is a declared world class horse by all who see him, as he impresses with a spectacular trot with excellent extension of the forearm and an active hind leg. His powerful, lofty, rhythmic, uphill gaits caused FEI judge Hilda Gurney to exclaim at the World Cup, "What a wonderful horse!" His great self-carriage and expression gain the attention of everyone in his vicinity.

In 2005, he was series winner in Young Dressage Horse classes on Advanced Medium Level. In 2006, Lord Loxley was victorious in Advanced Medium level and in his first and only start at Advanced level placed fourth as a 7 year old. As a sire this exquisite young stallion is off to a terrific start. His son Lord Leatherdale was approved for the Dutch main book and became Reserve Champion. His foals are off to promising stars as Oldencraig Exquisite is not only a look-a-like of his dad but also has the same expression in the arena.

His dam sire is Montecristo who was bred by Bert Rutten and approved as a 3 year old for KWPN. He transformed from a good young Dressage protégé into a highly successful dressage horse which won every stallion competition in The Netherlands, including consecutive Pavo Cup title. Oldencraig Exquisite is bred for the top and will be seen on the big stage in a few years. The judges already put him continuously second to none and he gets over 70%.

He is good in a trailer and horsebox, good to shoe, clip, box, and jumps. He also hacks well alone or in company.

  • Straight forward and easy enough for any amateur
  • Talented enough for a professional

Halny ( Henry ) has been with us for four years . We imported him from Belgium as he'd successfully competed at Prix St George and I wanted a good , honest but capable schoolmaster.

Henry has been all of these things as well as being easy to care for, easy to hack with kids on ponies or with dogs on his own . He has never been lame or had any problems at all. Doesn't need to be ridden every day.

He's always been in professional homes until his time with me and he drops down easily to my level , still doing all of the moves correctly. He doesn't need tuning up by a professional, Henry and I have our weekly dressage lessons which I love but he has become a complete luxury and deserves to go off and compete and show what he can do.

I am now so busy with my children showjumping that I have decided to sell him. He is not available to lease or loan as I'm very happy to keep him and enjoy him when I'm home and he doesn't mind having a few days in the field when I'm not.

He is fit and ready to go and compete .

"Professional, experienced and fun.”

“We came to Lotty from western Canada in search of something we could not find in North America and she totally delivered.  Our entire experience, from organizing our trip to finding just what we were looking for in a horse and then vetting and transport, Lotty and her partners were professional, experienced and above all fun!!!!  We would highly recommend Lotty of Suspension Dressage Sales to anyone looking for their dream horse as she definitely helped us find ours!”

CHERYL ROBERTS,STATION LANE STABLES, AIRDRIE, ALBERTA, CANADA

"The whole process was seamless.”

“I had been training with Abi Hutton for a couple of years and when I decided to start looking for my next horse, Suspension Dressage was recommended to me. As soon as I contacted Lotty any doubt or worry I had soon disappeared. Lotty was very attentive, sensitive to my needs and genuinely keen to help. The whole process was seamless, Lotty’s colleagues in Holland were just as friendly and professional. Lotty was on the end of the phone throughout the trip offering guidance and support. Suspension Dressage took all the stress and worry out of buying a horse. For me this was a trip of a lifetime and I am so delighted to have found such an amazing horse, it really is a dream come true.”

CLAIR REED, ENGLAND

"I was impressed with Lotty’s honest & knowledgeable approach”

“We had been considering buying a young dressage dressage horse for my niece Amy for a while and saw an advertisement for Suspension Dressage Sales.  We were initially very nervous of viewing and buying a horse abroad but after a phone call to Lotty I was impressed with her honest and knowledgeable approach so we decided to proceed further.  Lotty made the whole process easy and very enjoyable.  Lotty advised us on the typical process and what to expect before we left and helped us to compile a short list of horses. We were met at the airport and taken around to  some excellent yards over two days, we were even treated to a trip to the Dutch National Championships.  We saw seventeen excellent quality well trained horses (many more than we had originally short listed) and Amy rode twelve of them.  Lotty assisted us with our final choice which also happened to be her first original recommendation from our very first phone call!  Lotty then helped us through all the stages of the purchase vetting, transport and even how to get the best rates when transferring the payment in Euros.  Amy has had her new  three year old horse at home now for nearly three months.  He has exceeded all our hopes he is well trained with an absolutely fantastic temperament.  The next time we want a horse we will definitely be back to seek Lotty’s help again the whole process was so easy, enjoyable and most importantly totally successful.”

JANE JOHNSON. CORNWALL. ENGLAND

“A great contact for finding the perfect horse for clients”

“I thoroughly recommend Lotty Chatterton’s horse search service, Suspension Dressage Sales as a great contact for finding the perfect horse for clients. We have several in our yard; and a client has the horse that suits her perfectly; temperament was all important. I am looking to buy one soonest!”

PAMMY HUTTON. INTERNATIONAL DRESSAGE RIDER. GLOUCESTERSHIRE. ENGLAND.

“A genuine, reliable & top class way to find your dream horse.”

“I not only have the pleasure of riding Suspension Dressage horses, but I have been involved with clients and horses that have found very happy partnerships together through Suspension Dressage.

Not only does Lotty have a very naturally talented eye for a good horse and experience in bio-mechanics, but being a horse owner herself she is extremely thorough, sympathetic and understanding with the whole process of buying a horse. She is easy to communicate with a operates with utmost integrity.

I cannot recommend Suspension Dressage highly enough as a genuine, reliable, thorough and top class way to find your dream horse.”

ABIGAIL & CHARLIE HUTTON DRESSAGE. NTERNATIONAL DRESSAGE RIDERS. GLOUCESTERSHIRE. ENGLAND.

“I found my ‘dream horse’ that can full fill all of my goals”

“My work with Suspension Dressage was a pleasant and very rewarding experience. From the initial contact Lotty was informative and professional about the horses I had seen on her website.

Approaching my search long distance from the U.S. I thought I may be at a disadvantage, but actually she did everything necessary to make the process work incredibly well for me. Beginning with selection of horses, organizing my trip, viewing horses, negotiations and finally veterinary examinations and exporting – Lotty was there to guide me through the complete cycle, removing any obstacles and looking out for my best interest.

I am very pleased with my new horse and with Lotty’s guidance and above all I found my ‘dream horse’ that can full fill all of my goals.”

BETH HARBIN. MASSACHUSETTS. USA.

"I have a phenomenal young horse that has the qualities I was just not able to find in the US”

“For anyone considering a horse buying trip to Europe, I would highly recommend Lotty’s Suspension Dressage Sales. Having recently brought home the horse I bought through SDS,  I can confidently say that Lotty and her partners and connections are absolutely the best. From the beginning I was impressed with the level of professionalism, knowledge and service that I found. Lotty and SDS know the business and have many connections in the dressage horse world, which is a big advantage to the buyer. For example, I was able to use one of the best equine vets in Holland for my horse’s pre-purchase exam.

Overall there are many reasons I’d recommend SDS, but one thing that sticks out and is super important to a prospective buyer is that SDS guided me through the process with respect and transparency. I always felt that they were giving their honest opinion and I never felt pressured in anyway.

I really had an amazing experience with Lotty and SDS- it’s something I’ll always be glad I did, not to mention I have a phenomenal young horse that has the qualities I was just not able to find in the US for a reasonable price.”
