14.3hh 9yrs old WPB Black gelding. Charlie is a very smart horse, he has 3 balanced flashy paces and works into a contact. Competed at pony club, dressage, XC and SJ events.

Charlie has a lovely jump happily popping course of 80 with scope for higher. Has done unaffiliated dressage with ability to progress.Hacks alone and in company. Good to clip/ shoe/ box/ catch.

Charlie has been our much-loved happy hacker and leisure horse. He’s mostly been used at pony club, hacking and schooling by our teenage daughter, but unfortunately, due to a change in circumstances our daughter is no longer able to give him what he needs.

He’s a fun, forward-going ride with that classic Welsh spark. He’s never nasty, but he does have that cheeky, intelligent Welsh nature, so he’s best suited to a confident and experienced rider who can enjoy and channel his personality.

In the right hands, he’ll make someone an absolutely brilliant partner and go a long way – whether it’s for hacking, fun rides, or even bringing on further if you want to do more.

5* home only where he’ll be loved as much as he is here.

Up to date with dentist and vaccinations.

Feel free to get in touch with any questions or to arrange a viewing/ride.

Beautiful and eye-catching grey Welsh Cob Section D gelding bred by the respected Trefrifawr Stud. Trefrifawr Brenin has been carefully and correctly started and is now ready to continue his education.

Broken to ride and has done a bit of everything — hacking, Pony Club, light showing, and popped a few small fences. He’s been to a handful of outings this year, always well behaved and taking it all in his stride. Still green but with a willing, trainable attitude.

Lovely to hack alone and in company

Ridden by our 12-year-old daughter

Attended Pony Club and a few shows

Kind, intelligent and eager to please

Good with farrier; up to date with vaccinations.

A genuine pony with a great future ahead, looking for a home that can give him the time and consistency he deserves. Only for sale due to lack of time.

Jack continues to be an absolute sweetheart to train and produce. Backed earlier this year, he has come on leaps and bounds and has just started low level competing in dressage and showjumping.

Jack is great to hack alone and in company, and has seen lots of traffic.

He is very careful when jumping and rarely touches a pole. He enjoys jumping and is always wanting to please.

Jack is snaffle mouthed in all phases, great with the farrier (he is barefoot), happy out in a herd or by himself, he doesn’t stress when other horses are taken away and has always been content on his own.

Good to load and travel, we have had him in 12T lorry, 3.5T lorry and a trailer. He will happily stand tied up to the box and have horses taken away from him without stressing.

He is a “typical” welshie if you know the breed, he can be nervous and needs a rider who isn’t going to get tense therefore he would NOT suit a novice or nervous rider.

He needs a confident and balanced rider to continue producing him, in the right hands he is going to be someone’s horse of a lifetime he has such a nice attitude.

He is up to date with teeth, regularly sees the osteopath, feet, vaccines, wormer etc.

He will continue to be produced by me and getting out competing. I’m in no rush with him but the more he’s produced the more his price will increase.

Solent Nancy is the sweetest mare, is super easy to handle and loves attention.

She has gone from jumping 60cm to 1m with us in the last 3 years. She has done numerous activities including:

- showjumping - up to 100cm;
- one day events - up to 80cm;
- dressage - prelim;
- hunting;
- hunter trials;
- beach rides;
- sponsored/fun rides;
- pony club rallies and camps;
- stay away shows.

She has show jumped at Hickstead many times (80cm - 100cm) and qualified for the Sunshine Tour in heights ranging from 60cm to 100cm.

She hacks alone (many times bareback) and in company, she loves a gallop but is easy to stop, and is good in traffic, including lorries, tractors and motorbikes.

She is good to catch, clip, shoe and load onto trailers and lorries. She is currently stabled at night but would be equally happy living out.

Nancy is an excellent second pony and comes complete with tack and rugs.

No time wasters or complete novices please.

Really sad sale of a top class compact quality cob. Genuine reason for sale as he hasn't grown big enough for Harrison and the pic isn't quite right. Recently gelded & brought back into work. Only been to a handful of shows, qualified RI and went down there for a week and was no bother at all - it was his 1st away show - he went really well in the class and took no working in time - just needs the time to further mature.

I think this boy's big win, is either in the juniors or the workers, he loves to jump and is very brave. Donny loves to hack out, not phased by traffic & would equally suit a top class all round pony club type of home.

Strictly no timewasters this is a really sad sale and 10 star home is paramount.

Harvey is my homebred cremello gelding who was born unintentionally on October 9th so is younger than his years describe.

His sire, Jebeth Milkyway has won many championships under saddle and was placed 4th at HOYs and 3rd at the Royal Welsh show.

Both parents have old fashioned top class breeding.

Because of my personal circumstances Harvey's education has not progressed until recently, when he had 3 months ridden education at a professional yard.

He has been stabled and turned out daily most of his life and is really good to handle. He has a respectful yet bold temperament with a spanking walk, lovely conformation and action and could make an excellent dressage pony or who knows what else!

He has lovely solid limbs and would easily carry an adult.

He has done small jumps with young teenagers and shows enthusiasm in this area.

Though he is registered as a Welsh section D he has measured as just under 13.2hh so he could be transferred down to Section C if it suited his new owner.

Daisy (Trenewydd Precious Model) is a 14.2, 7 year old section D

Synod Remington X Trenewydd Welsh Model with Nebo Black Magic lines.

Daisy is a lovely loveable mare she’s never mareish and is easy to handle and do anything with, she will happily follow you round the field for company and attention. Daisy is good to catch, clip. Excellent for the farrier (currently barefoot), loads on both a trailer and lorry and travels well alone or in company.

Daisy lives in or out happily and has been turned out with both mares and geldings in a herd with no problems but is equally as happy with individual turnout.

Daisy is up to date with the farrier and vaccines.

Daisy is good in open spaces and in all traffic, she loves a nice long hack alone or in company.

She has done:

  • Dressage, Unaffiliated showjumping up to 80cm, not fazed by fillers with many wins and placings.
  • Unaffiliated One Day Event
  • Drag hunted a couple of times and loved it
  • Numerous hunter trials being placed
  • Numerous fun rides in company
  • PC rallys.

Qualified for and placed at the Sunshine Tour unaffiliated championship at Hickstead. Where she competed in show jumping and arena eventing. Stayed away for three nights and loved the experience.

Has been to many different arena hires and XC schooling jumping ditches, steps, water ect.

Does have one small nodular sarcoid on chest but doesn't interfere with her or cause an issue with tack.

No novices please as she is forward going and likes to get on with her work.

Very sad sale as she has sadly been out grown.

Ollie is a 15h section D cross. Beautiful looking palomino gelding.

Been in the same home since he was a foal. Started his riding education late and it has not been consistent. He started out well and came on nicely but as he's learned more he's gotten more opinionated.

He needs consistent work to bring him on to his full ability and I cannot do that for him. Not a novice ride, he's been with Sean Hardy doing some intensive training to get him working and ready to go to his next home.

He has done a novice show and did Windsor sponsored ride last year, where he behaved beautifully. Has popped a small jump but hasn't done much formal schooling, we mostly hack out.

Lives out all year. Good for the farrier and the dentist. No injuries or dental issues that are known. Will load and travel alone, although hasn't done it that often. Ollie needs someone who is willing to carry on his education and really make him shine.

The ideal Pony Club second pony, Chance is an absolute all-rounder.
He would also be very suitable for a smaller adult looking for a fun partner to do a bit of everything with.
Based in Hertfordshire.

Chance schools nicely and will do a lovely dressage test, achieving 68% both times we have done an ODE with him.
He loves his jumping and really enjoys fun rides and popping logs out hacking.
We have done sponsored rides, clinics, pony club rallies, course hires, taken him to the gallops as well as arena eventing, showjumping and hunter trials etc.
He's done it all and will give someone endless fun doing pony club or riding club activities. He travels brilliantly and behaves like an angel when out, whether alone or with another horse - he really makes it a pleasure.

Chance happily goes through water, jumps ditches and steps, will stand whilst you open a gate (even helps you push it open if he can!)
He absolutely loves hacking and is a joy to hack. He hacks alone or in company and will go first or last. He is good in traffic, used to farm machinery etc and is unfazed by most things – I even had to hack him past a fire once!

Although Chance is a fun, safe and uncomplicated ride, he is a forward thinking pony and does need a confident rider.

He is totally calm hacking alone or with one or two others but he can get excitable and strong if cantering with lots of others e.g. at a sponsored ride.

We have had Chance for two years and he has been an absolute pleasure to own. He is very friendly, full of character and easy to do everything with i.e. shoe, clip, load, catch etc
He thrives on attention and will be your best friend, he follows me round like a Labrador!
However, as is typical for his breed, he can be a bit cheeky so needs confident and competent handling. Chance will not go to a novice home.

Chance would be a best friend for a competent child but equally would suit an adult rider looking for a fun pony to do everything on.

He is much loved and homes will be vetted. The right home is very important to us.

Please call or message me for more info. Based Herts.

Lovely Lara

13.2hh Welsh Sec C - 13 year old Mare - sporty build
East Yorkshire, 10 minutes drive from Hornsea

Lara is a fantastic pony who is willing and keen. She has been owned by her current owner for 6 years. During that time she’s been a happy hacker and a pet to love. Lara hasn’t had much formal education but the basics are established. Lara is requiring a new family to be loved as her owner has relocated out of the area.

Lara is currently in work 3/4 times a week which includes hacking and in the school. The walk and trot is established but canter does require more education. She is jumping a small course of around 40cm in trot, if Lara offers the canter we let her stay in this gait. Lara has shown vast amounts of willing towards the jumping.

Lara hacks in company perfectly, she will go first or last but usually plodding at the rear of a group ride. Lara does hack out alone but Due to her being a child’s pony she usually has someone on foot with her. We also ride Lara in an empty paddock where Lara has a better establishment of her canter and offers more freely. Lara has wonderful breaks already in place and goes in a snaffle.

Lara has excellent stable manners and groundwork. She has been groomed and bathed by children for hours. She is fabulous for the farrier, tie-up, spray and pick her feet out. Lara does require sedation for clipping.

Lara lives out in the summer months and in during the night in winter. Lara could easily live out 24/7, She’s middle in the hierarchy in a mixed herd and can display some Welsh tendencies of funky faces, bucking and a head toss.

Lara is barefoot and she is a really good doer, cheap to keep! Her only health/behaviour is a gurn. This has been fully investigated by vet, acupuncture, cryotherapy, cranio sacral and physio which all have said no mechanical or physical problem. Lara does it when breakfast is being served, heavy handed rider or when she’s fatigued.This gives her no issue putting her bridle on, tacking up or being ridden. Lara has done this the 6 years she’s been owned.

Types of home where Lara would continue to thrive is
A mother daughter share
Second pony
Kick and go child - due to lack of education anyone nervous or novice would not be suitable
Family pony
Small petite adult - max 5ft 3 and below 9.5 stone.

Lara doesn’t have show, pony club or hunting experience. We have tonnes of photos available and price will also include Kent and masters saddle, rugs and various other things.

So this is a very sad one!

Our mega Molly is looking for a new home after deciding the child doesn’t need 3 ponies and Molly deserves to be someone’s number one.

Molly is a rising 5 14.1/2 Welsh D mare. Shes a really nice stamp with very good breeding. On a green book. Her sire Fwrog Dundee is a very good dressage pony out winning at over 70% Molly could do any job she could show, she’s done dressage and got 2nd at her first attempt with a 10 year old.

She really jumps and has been to multiple shows with a light weight adult and my daughter. She’s booked in for wales and west on the 14th of August for her first stay away show too if she’s not sold before hand.

All history known and been backed and produced kind and slowly. She’s great to hack alone or in company.

Molly is up to date with everything and is bare foot. Good to load and travel, catch, clip and deal with. She’s handle by children everyday. Used to dogs.

This is a very sad sale and there will be tears shed but it’s right for the pony.

No lumps bumps or vices.

Needs to continue her education due to age but she’s going to be a superstar.

Open to viewing and vetting.

Orlando is not your traditional Section D - he is able to offer bone and substance to a lighter TB or WB mare whilst also being able to refine a more traditional D or heavier mare. This combined with his exceptional temperament and versatility under saddle means that he is always a good choice for any mare. And you get the added bonus of being able to predict the colour of your foal! A chestnut mare will always guarantee a palomino, whereas a bay or black mare can produce a buckskin, palomino or smokey black foal.

Orlando is WPCS licensed and is graded with the SPSS, taking Central Grading Champion for 2020 and Reserve Champion for Britain 2020. He is also the first Section D in AES history to be graded with the society. At both gradings he gained fabulous marks but the stand out would have to be 9's and 10's for his jumping ability and an 8.75 for his canter work.

A true allrounder himself, Orlando regularly competes in dressage, showjumping and eventing as well as participating in hunting, fun rides, working equitation and whatever else we happen to fancy trying that day - he has even lead a team chase!

Ollie knows how to switch it on for a competitive rider and dial it back for a child or nervous rider who needs a bit of confidence.

It is no surprise then that Orlando is the ultimate all rounder producer. He has proven himself time and time again, not just in the progeny he produces but for the mare owners who have used him, many of them several times over! He is the type of stallion who will sire a foal who can go out and do a nice medium dressage test on Saturday and a 1.10m showjumping course on Sunday, then hacking out with the kids after work in the week.

The type of horse that you can leave without a rug and know it won't melt in the rain or have a nervous breakdown because it's been left out over night. The type that are intelligent, willing to learn and place implicit trust in you as their owner and rider. And then to top it all off......All of that in a beautiful golden package.
