Future top class Connemara 2 year old gelding by Lecarrow King . Shown successfully as a foal. Easy to do. Good box, farrier etc.

He has a lovely temprement and is a kind boy.

This is a very hard decision but the Shetland Stud is taking up so much time we feel he is being wasted.

Please no time waster. Only a 5* home.

Will be considered.

Offered for sale Parishtown Ladies Man by Caherlistrane Bay out of Parishtown April Bay Colt born 2015. HWSD tested N/N

Dash is the mosr kindest pony which makes this all so difficult to make this decision, he has been shown lightly as a foal winning four out of five foal shows before coming to the Uk where he has had numerous top three places local and county.

Dash was 4th in the Tom O'Shanter yearling final. He has impeccable manners loads lorry trailer side loader has walked out and 100% traffic has seen all farm machinery and animals inc pigs.

He is in no way coltish turns out next to mares stables and travels next to them and well behaved at shows

I think his future would be in working hunter as hes very bold

Top home is a must no time wasters and im not in a rush to sell this chap equally I would be happy to geld at buyers expense Southampton delivery available.

Rules for Showing

Prospective purchasers of Connemara ponies should be aware that under BCPS Rules for showing – ‘No Connemara exceeding 148cm may be shown or take part in any competition restricted to Connemara or Registered Mountain and Moorland ponies within the jurisdiction of the BCPS.’

‘Where it is reported to the Society that this may have occurred then the Society may require the animal to be measured or re-measured in accordance with the Rules of the Joint Measurement Scheme -

The penalty for the contravention of the above Rule may be cancellation of the registration of the animal concerned

They should also realise that both the Irish and British Connemara Societies register ponies under a classification system. Briefly, all foals are registered as Class 3. Adult ponies (2 years and over) – Stallions and Mares – are registered in Class 1 if they pass a visual and Veterinary inspection, and as Class 2 if they fail the visual, but pass the Vet, or are over or under height, or blue eyed creams, and as Class 3 if they fail the Vet or have not been inspected

The progeny of Class 3 ponies remain in Class 3 and cannot be upgraded

It is suggested that purchasers should ask to see the pony’s passport to verify the Class of the pony, and should contact the BCPS Secretary if they have any queries on the details given below
