Please read advert carefully! - Super smart fella, scope to jump 1.10m tracks, loves to jump, goes off any stride and is quick. He has a fab canter, made to jump fences from. He is super cross country, jumps ditches, water, steps etc without hesitation.
This lad has a lovely temperament, is easy to deal with on the ground, good to catch, box, shoe and in traffic. Goes out in the field with mares and geldings, lives in or out and has no vices.
He came over from Ireland in the summer, doesn't have a competition record yet as I have had no time to get him out competing so is perfect for someone to get out and work up through the grades.
He is NOT a horse for anyone other than an experienced rider. You can see from the video he goes very nicely, that video and pictures are all recent, HOWEVER, he is a buzzy ride. He is not at all strong, does everything in a straight bar nathe bit but he can get tense at times and most definitely needs someone who knows how to keep a soft hand and not hang on to him.
If I were to keep him he would be out eventing at BE100 early in the season and has the scope to go Novice but I know how to ride him and keep him relaxed in his flatwork.
With the right rider he will do a decent dressage test but it's not what he enjoys. I would rather he went to a showjumping home.
He jumps any fillers, hacks out in company and on his own, he is more relaxed with others and will happily go at the back or in front, canters upsides and in a group without being silly. He is more busy out on his own but doesn't have a nappy bone in his body.
This little horse will be a cracker in the right hands and with work with the right rider will be worth 3 times the price but I have others waiting to come in and so he needs to be sold.
Please DO NOT call unless you are experienced, no young teenagers, or anyone looking for a schoolmaster. No texts, no loans or loan with view to buy and no one expectimgto come and get on him and be ready to do a 70% dressage test.
His ideal partner is someone who has a need for speed, wants to jump fences and look good doing it and doesn't really give a hoot whether a horse is relaxed when working in the school!!
