It is a forward facing horse box which is great for bad travellers as they can see you from the cab with the living door securely open. Massive horse area, 2 lovely and wide stalls. Lots of head room as well. All rubber matted, fitted tie rings, and a movable partition.

External tack locker with two saddle racks, two bridle hooks and shelves. There are tie rings externally on the right hand side of the lorry.

Cosmetically, it could do with some tlc but it is an older box so please do not contact me if you are looking for a prestige box.

The interior has been painted within the last few years. There is a small kitchen, sofa area, table and cupboard with a luton area for sleeping.

This is a beautiful and much loved horsebox that has been our home away from home at events such as Blair horse trials. We commissioned the conversion on a 2008 DAF LF chassis (4461cc) in 2015 and have owned it since. Tilting cab retained for easier maintenance. 5 gear manual gearbox (plus reverse!), power steering, drives very easily. We chose KPH for the safety and quality inherent in the build.

Horses travel really well, currently stalled for two horses with a walk in tack room in the horse area. Travelled two 17.2hh horses very comfortably over long distances many times.

All features of a KPH Helios included:

*Horse external wash-off, external hook-up, horse area roof vent, rug rack, large walk in lockable tack room, horse area CCTV and reversing camera installed, spare wheel.

*Full and very comfortable living with toilet, shower, oven /grill and hob, fridge ,TV, multiple cupboards for storage, stowable table, hot water and heating, LED lighting, water tank, solar panel, can sleep 4 with 2 in Luton and 2 in living.

Selling our lovely lorry!

It is on an Iveco chassis (2007). Converted beautifully for us by Winterbourne in 2013. It is on a short wheelbase which makes it very easy to drive.

Stalled for 2 horses forward facing with lots of space. Huge payload (2000+kg) (weight certificate 5,460 kg)

It has both rear and side ramp, making it really well ventilated on a hot day, also great for reluctant loaders. Of course you can just load and unload up the side ramp.

It has lovely, tidy living including bench seats with lots of storage underneath. A luton (we have slept 2 up there!) Fold down table, sink and 2 gas rings, - in fantastic condition as we have rarely used them! Cupboards above the sink and coat hooks.
There is a lockable door from the living to the horses, with space in front of the horses to walk, tie up haynets, store wheelbarrow etc.
There is a cut through from the living to the cab.

Tilt cab, outside tack locker with 4 saddle racks, water tank, further outside storage cupboard. Isolator switch.It has always lived inside our barn, it has never let us down. It has a limiter but is really powerful up hill and very easy to drive around narrow lanes.
