He’s been professionally started and is now backed and been lightly ridden away at walk and trot. He’s been hacking for 3 weeks on the roads and round a farm and is extremely bold and brave leading past machinery and traffic.

He has loose jumped only twice since being purchased proving very bold over fillers and naturally thinks for himself getting his legs out the way sharply.

He’s now been turned away and roughed off in the field as he’s got some more growing to do but will be ready to come back in after a few weeks and continue his education.

Zeus has all the attributes to make it to the top of the sport. If he had been a filly I would have kept him.

He has acquired a small splint on his near side hind cannon bone which will not be noticeable once he’s grown. I think it’s from the hard ground we have had this year as my 6 year old has got a massive one this year. Reduced in price because of this.
