Berry is a stunning Andalusian X Warmblood who is going to make somebody a fantastic and compact high level dressage companion. she is 4yo and has begun her breaking and education, so far i have taken everything nice and slowly and have done all of the work completely by myself, she has an inquisitive personality and a want to please attitude which coupled with her paces is sure to get her far in the future!

She has fantastic dressage breeding with her grandsires being the infamous Fuego De Cardenas and San Remo. So far Berry has done all of the usual in hand work, lunges to command and i am now walking around under saddle on her. Berry is looking for someone who can offer her the time she needs and a committed 1-1 education so that she can gain trust and build a partnership. Although she has dressage bloodlines she is a blank canvas so would make someone an excellent horse for other disciplines. Sadly due to my work getting busier and potentially needing knee surgery on top of that, i am no longer able to give her what i feel she deserves. As such i don't think it is fair for her at this time in her education/ life to limit her learning and potential. I will continue her education where i can until the perfect home is found for her. She would suit a young professional/ competent teenager looking for their next superstar or an experienced individual who is used to youngsters and wants a project to develop for competing or to enjoy life with.

As you can see Berry is for sale due to no fault of her own but due to my personal circumstances changing. She is good with the farrier, vet, clipping loads and travels like a dream, is good with other horses and children and she loves nothing more than a good bum scratch!!
She has also had her wolf teeth removed and signed off by the dentist.

She will only go to a 5* home as this has been a very difficult decision for me and i want to make sure i find her someone who can give her what she deserves.

Gelding preferred, 8-13yrs, 16hh max. Absolutely no vices and quirks. Open to some reasonable medical maintenance as long as disclosed.

Reasonably healthy budget for deserving horse.

Open to various levels of schooling as long as established in 3 basic paces and snaffle ridden. My trainer can take over the next stages of training and further education. The main thing is the forgiving nature to give confidence and look after his rider.

I want to appeal to horse owners who may be reluctant to highlight or mention the docile qualities of their horse as the main selling point. I suspect highlighting such qualities tends to deter buyers willing to spend good money or offer an experienced home. After all, talent and proven capability are ultimately what is judged and rewarded during tests.

I am after what some might call lazy but I look at it as simply opting for the easy life. Some call it boring and dull but I characterise it as predictable and steady. I don't mind a little bit of nudging as long as he is kind and genuine. I don't want a horse that is guaranteed to win rosettes and to go up the levels because they are almost always too sharp and strong for me. World beaters or those with exceptional talent need not apply.
