Queen Quackers (Darcy) is the perfect amateurs horse, standing at 16.2hh. She is an 8yo homebred mare out of the elite stallion Parco.

Darcy has a competitive record up to Newcomers and is still within Newcomers points. She would excel in giving someone confidence to begin jumping in the ring or moving up through the levels, being anyone’s ride and extremely forgiving! Her grand dam was a 5* eventer so equally could be a nice type to event.

With a friendly, laid back personality on the ground- Darcy is a pleasure to do anything with (clip, load, shoe etc). We hack around a farmers field alone and in company and she is never fresh.

Very sensible and never silly, might have the odd spook but never at a fence. Darcy has been with us her whole life so finding the right home is really important to us.

Izzy is a super mare who is great fun to ride and compete.

Lovely, uphill mover and snaffle mouthed in all phases.

Izzy would be suitable for an U18 wanting to do the 100 or Novice classes, Pony Club Championships or for a amateur/professional rider who would like to bring on a horse to do 2* and further in the future.

I backed Izzy as an unbroken three year old from Ireland and I have loved spending the last four years with her moving up through the levels to Novice.

Last year she competed in CCI1* at Aston Le Walls, and did several 105m classes jumping double clears. Also, we had good fun competing in the Pony Club Burghley show jumping team jumping a double clear.

This year I have stepped her up to Novice and she has taken it all in her stride and has had successful runs including jumping a double clear at Burnham Market. Also, I have been out show jumping at Foxhunter (1.20m) and keeping her focused and ready to do 2*-S in the autumn season.

Great to hack out alone or in company, can go to trips on the beach and will go in the sea! Also, happy with traffic too.

Travels in a lorry or 3.5tonne and will stand on her own and can take another horse away etc.

This very smart boy has 3 good paces, and is working nicely on the flat in all 3 paces. Last season he was consistently getting dressage scores in the 20s, winning his first ever one day event on a 28 dressage, and coming 4th in the BE at Breckenbrough finishing on a 29 dressage. He hasn’t evented yet this season due to circumstances, but will be aiming for some August events with him if not sold beforehand.

To jump, he is bold and honest, without being strong. He jumps anything you point him at, including ditches, water, fillers etc without any hesitation, he’s a real point and go type. He is fit and ready to compete at BE80, and we would expect him to move up to 90/100 with a little more mileage.

At home, he is a pleasure to have around. He is very easy to catch, box, shoe, clip etc. He hacks well alone and in company and isn’t phased by any traffic.

He would ideally be suited to an older teen or an adult, rather than a child, as he can occasionally show a cheeky side. He has been known to throw a buck, so wouldn’t suit a nervous or novice rider.

I had Charlie in on sales livery last year, and found him a lovely home, however, unfortunately due to 16 year old boys other interests/exams, he has now returned to be sold.
