Rosie is an exceptional model of an event horse offering serious potential with scope to go on. She has an exceptional BE record, having only started eventing as a 7yo, she is relatively low milage, but been produced professionally and carefully with the future in mind. She has risen to every new challenge, jumping double clear on her first attempt at 3*L, 3*S and 2*L, and jumped a bold clear round her first advanced last year.

Consistently scores well in the first phase, leading the dressage in her first event of this season on a 24.1 at Intermediate level. She loves to jump, having focused on this before turning to eventing. Many double clears at foxhunter level, she is agile and quick against the clock. XC she has proved to be bold and brave, covers the ground and is snaffle mouthed in all phases.

On the yard she is easy to do, hacks alone and in company. She isn’t mareish, lives in or out, good to shoe, box, handle etc, she does need sedating to be clipped. She is up to date with everything, fit and ready to go, having been 2nd in the IN at Breckenbrough and top 10 in her last two Intermediate runs.

I have loved producing her to advanced level, but feel now is the time for someone to take the reins and fulfil her potential as a young rider team horse or a serious asset to a professionals string. Approx 16.2hh, 14-year-old Irish Sport Horse mare by Lux Like Nancy, out of Lux Z.

She has previously competed up to 1.20m, but we feel she’s happiest and most competitive around the 1.10 / 1.15m tracks where she’s still very capable and consistent.

She’s a genuine schoolmistress type with smooth changes and is very rideable, making her an ideal step up for someone coming off ponies or a confident amateur wanting to go out and enjoy themselves. She’s quick against the clock, careful and turns unbelievably tight, so would be very competitive in jump-offs.

She has plenty on her record already, including qualifying for Blue Chip a few years ago, and although she hasn’t done much affiliated recently due to her previous owner being overhorsed, she’s now back out competing and loving her job. At the end of March she went to an affiliated show and won both the 1m and 1.05m classes.

She’s a very straightforward mare to have around — good to shoe, hack, load and for the vet/dentist. The only thing she requires is sedation for clipping. She does have some maintenance, which we’re happy to discuss with serious enquiries.

No loans!! How has she not sold!!! Ridden by an 8 year old girl yesterday! She did her first ever workers course two weeks ago and was 3rd out of 11! Show jumping each weekend We are unfortunately putting our loving Irish sports horse mare up for sale , she is perfect in every way!
