The best thing I can say about him is that he's literally a pleasure to take out to a lesson or a competition. Travels quietly in both of my boxes either alone in a 3.5t or with other horses in the large wagon. Always stands quietly to be tacked up and requires very little working in and just gets on with his job. He has competed at many different venues both indoors and outdoors including Kelsall in the big indoor and Arena Uk in the outdoor with another horse nextdoor and he's never spooky or silly at judges/flower pots etc.

Lives out currently but during winter was just as happy in at night. Not needy in any way.

He is fantastic to handle, and is regularly handled by children and novices. He is everyone’s best friend and isn’t bossy or bolshy. Happily goes with a mixed herd.

Since the start of this year his ridden work has been inconsistent, and he needs a confident capable rider to bring out the best in him as he can be cheeky and try it on, he just needs to be pushed through this and then he’ll be your perfect horse.

He hasn’t been in a school since February and has only done light hacking.

He can be spooky out hacking by himself but this improves when he does it frequently. He is completely fine in company but needs confidence from his rider when on his own. However, he is 100% in all traffic and isn’t bothered by lorries, buses, motorbikes etc.

He’s not strong and is ridden in a snaffle, he has also hunted in a snaffle quite happily. He just needs a job and something to keep his brain engaged as we believe he is getting bored and this has led to a couple of bad habits that need a capable rider to push through and correct.

Would suit a hunting home as has great scope over fences but also has flashy movements so would make a great shower. Needs more work over showjumps but only as he’s green in this area.
