Absolutely stunning 3yo RID gelding, by Inishfree the Iron Cross.

Potential HOYS centre line, and a top contender for Draught classes.

Clean, straight, with exceptional movement.

His temperament is A1- curious and affectionate.

He wears a bridle, roller, and lunges well. Lives in or out, and is well socialised with other horses, as well as dogs and humans! He is INCREDIBLY affectionate, curious, and placid.

Good to handle, have his feet trimmed, bring in and out, go on the walker, load and travel.

Kind and knowledgeable home sought, very sad sale of a super special boy.

Blue is a 10 year old cob standing at just over 14.3hh. He is for sale through no fault of his own as his elderly owner of the last 4 years needs a quieter horse and he needs a job!

Blue is established in all paces in the school and jumps for fun.

He hacks very well in company, but has not been hacked out on his own.

He is a forward going cob and needs a confident rider or he will try and mess about. Once you have the measure of him, he will do anything for you. Rides a lot bigger than he is, takes up the leg, rider in videos is nearly 6'.
He is happier in a consistent routine, the more you do with him, the better he gets.

He is not suitable for a nervous, novice or beginner as he can be quite strong at times.

Loves a fuss and a groom, will come to call in the field and easy to catch. He is extremely easy to handle on the ground, good around kids, dogs and other horses.
Currently has an individual paddock, but has lived out in a herd previously.

He is up to date with vaccinations, physio and teeth and is excellent to clip, trim (he is barefoot) and with the dentist.

He loads and travels well in a lorry, he has not been travelled in a trailer.

He prefers to live out with a shelter but has been stabled at night in winter.

Would make a great little hunting horse for the right person.

Please ask for additional photos or videos and to view

He will come with turnout rugs

Stunning rising 4yrs old Clydesdale x Cob.

Recently professionally broken, riding well in all 3 paces.

Sweet temperament. Easy to do.

First time popping a fence today, very willing and not at all spooky with our filler.

Hacks out alone and in company, not fazed by the country traffic she has seen.

A gorgeous blank canvas that’s had a good start and now looking for someone with time and experience to mold her into whatever you like weather it be a family friend or a fantastic all rounder.

Lots of presence that gives off the wow factor, definitely a hard sort to find.

She’s sensible and riding well for her age but she’s still learning so no novices please.

Good to catch, box, shoe etc

100% sound, no lumps, bumps etc.

Open to vet.

Full Irish Draught Standing at approx 16.2 hh, 5 years. Breeding - by Devils Punchbowl (Crannagh Hero) out of a Westmeathe Lad Dam.

Red has been professionally backed and bought on slowly, trained using natural horsemanship methods. Time and care has been taken to give him the best possible start in his ridden life.

I am looking to see if I can find a kind, experienced home for him, selling him from the field, if not he will go to a reputable sales livery where his price will increase. Previous experience of dealing with large green horses is essential. He is a fabulous horse but is very green and not the bravest. That said he is such a quick learner and once he is familiar with things he is Mr Chill.
Groundwork: Red has done lots of natural horsemanship groundwork, flag training and been walked out in hand both alone and in company. He has started some in hand lateral work. He has been introduced to traffic and needs to continuewith this. He enjoys his groundwork and is the type of horse you can build a strong connection with and he will do anything for you.

Ridden: Red can walk, trot and canter in the arena and is calm doing this also in an open grass field. He has done plenty of pole work including some raised poles. He has started some lateral work under saddle. He has hacked out a few timesunder saddle across quiet bridleways to build his confidence. He isn’t the type that needs riding every day – far from it. You can very much pick up and put him down. He is snaffle mouthed at all times. He is so easy to tack up it is like tacking up grandmas horse!

Lifestyle: Red will happily live in and out. Like most horses his preference is to be out but he isn’t the type to get silly. As long as he has food he is happy. He is a hardy Irish type and lives on fresh air! He doesn’t need masses of rugging and is really low maintenance. He is great in all weathers.

Handling: Red is easy to handle, easy to worm, good for farrier, easy to tack up etc. He always comes up to you in the field. He will turn out on his own, with geldings and with mares. He is a friendly inquisitive young horse. He loves a groom and a pamper and he absolutely loves a hose down/ bath! I haven’t ever clipped him. He is a quiet horse to have on the yard.

Travelling: I bought Red direct from Ireland and when first arrived over he was very nervous to travel. We have done lots of practice and he loads like a pro but I do just give me a touch of sedalin to travel to keep building the positive experiences for him. Without the sedalin he just takes about half an hour to settle but simply paws and whinnies. He travels in a 3.5 box without the partition. He travels very well on his own with a haynet. He hasn’t ever been in a trailer.

Feet: He has good feet and I have kept him barefoot. He has some hoof boots for his fronts if you have particularly stoney ground / gravel then I put these on.
Vet: Red is up to date with vaccinations, worming, dentist and is a good doer. The only time I’ve had the vet (other than vaccs) is to treat some sarcoids that came up after he arrived from Ireland as a 3 year old. He had two small sarcoids on the underside of his tummy, they didn’t rub or interfere with anything but I decided to have them lasered so they were gone. No further problems or issues since.

Personality: Red is a typical inquisitive young Irish Draught with a gentle personality. He will thrive in a one to one home, bonding with his new person. Everyone who meets him loves him and he will be leaving behind quite a fan club. Generally he is very calm but of course he has his young horse moments and I want to be confident that his new person can handle these.

Type of Home: I am looking for a kind, knowledgeable new owner for Red who has experience of bringing on a young horse. He needs someone confident but not fierce – ideally someone who also has some horsemanship experience. The basics are there and now he needs to get out and see the world. He would be happy being a happy hacker, family horse or riding club type. He likes company but he’s not a clingytype. I am not too proud to admit that my health issues have caused me to loose confidence with horses and I am not able to give a young horse the reassurance and guidance they need. It would bring me so much joy to see Red thriving and loved in a knowledgeable home. I would love to keep in contact as he is very special to me.

As mentioned, as it stands I am selling him from the field so please don’t expect to come and ride him. Of course you are more than welcome to come and meet and spend time with him. For this reason I may be open to LWVTB depending on circumstances. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions no matter how small I am happy to answer.

‘MacLea Dandy’ aka Dandy.

A quality and well-put-together Pure Irish Draught colt homebred foal with the very best of traditional bloodlines and the kind of temperament that makes him a joy to be around.

Sire: MACS SILVER Class 1 Registered Irish Draught (15.2hh)
This striking young colt is by the impressive Class 1 Irish Draught stallion MACS SILVER, standing with the Silveroak Stud in West Wales who is himself by the exceptional Irish Draught stallion FAST SILVER. Dandy’s sire has this year consistently produced quality, substance, and gorgeous temperaments in his offspring.

Dam: MOYLOUGH LEAH Class 1 Irish Draught mare (16hh)
His dam, our much-loved broodmare Moylough Leah, is herself a Class 1 registered Irish draught by the renowned MOUNTAIN DIAMOND, and carries the impressive bloodlines of CLOVER PARK, tracing back to the legendary CLOVER HILL. These are bloodlines that speak for themselves — combining soundness, strength, and versatility with generations of proven success.
She has bred 3 fantastic half siblings to Dandy, each who are adored for their temperaments and doing well in their homes making their mark in various disciplines; one of which was champion at Suffolk County show in 2024.

MacLea Dandy is everything you’d hope for in a traditional Irish Draught:
He is both compact and correct – a true-to-type colt with excellent conformation, plenty of bone, and a good step. His playful and inquisitive nature makes him the ideal family horse and one who’s bound to want to please. Dandy is easily capable to become a future all-rounder, equally suited to the show ring, hunting, riding club, or competition.

Dandy from the word go has been a curious character who enjoys human company and isn’t afraid to come up and see you. We would love to see him go to the very best of homes to help him flourish into the capable and charismatic horse he’s destined to be.
If you’re looking for a future partner with outstanding Irish Draught breeding, presence, and personality — Dandy is one not to be missed.
