It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we are looking for the perfect new home for our much-loved 11-year-old grey Connemara gelding, Dom.

After three wonderful years together, my daughter has sadly outgrown him. Dom has given her so many special memories and has been the most genuine, fun-loving pony.

Dom is a forward-going pony who loves his work but is also safe, sensible and kind. He is brave, honest and just wants to please. He would make a fantastic second pony for a competent rider looking to have fun and continue progressing.

Dom has confidently show jumped  90cm -100cm with my daughter and absolutely loves cross-country. He gives his rider complete confidence that they will get to the other side and he will not take offence if you have a miss. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed every minute with Dom, from Riding Club camps and beach rides to lessons and competitions. He takes everything in his stride, always behaves impeccably and is the sort of pony who will turn his hoof to anything asked of him. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of him. He has taken my daughter from a little girl coming off her first pony to a confident rider. Prior to coming to us, he competed successfully in One Day Events with a small adult, where he was very much loved and, to this day, they remain in touch and take a genuine interest in how he is getting on, which speaks volumes about the sort of pony he is.

Dom is safe to hack alone and in company, he is good with traffic and is sensible in open spaces, just last week we took him on a fun ride where he happily led the way with a group of horses.

My daughter has always handled him, tacking up, bringing him in and out of the field, loading, clipping etc. He has always been kind, sensible and straightforward to manage.

Dom is very easy to keep. He currently comes in during the day and is turned out at night throughout the summer, with the opposite routine during the winter months. He would also happily live out if that suited his new home.

He is up to date with his vaccinations and teeth, and has recently been shod.

This is a heartbreaking decision, and finding the right home is far more important to us than anything else. We would consider a short-term lease with a view to buy for the right person and would love to keep in touch with his future rider.

He is jumping a small course and has three balanced paces on the flat and a lovely uphill canter with a natural rhythm. I bought him as a project but if I had the time I would be keeping him however he is ready for a confident rider to take him on.

He is happy doing a variety of jobs. I think he would make a lovely future event pony or pony club pony and would be perfect for workers. He would also suit a more lowkey lifestyle and can enjoy pleasure riding. He is so versatile.

Dusty is an attractive pony who turns heads with her striking colour and 4 white socks. She is nicely put together, has clean limbs and good feet.

Dusty has been on numerous fun rides and attended RC camp with her elderly lady owner. She has always been impeccably well behaved and is a pleasure to take out. She is an old head on young shoulders.

She has done lots of hacking both alone and in company. She has passed cars and farm traffic on the lanes and also enjoys hacking across open fields and having a canter on the mountain. She has been a pleasure to produce and although she still need bringing on, she is willing and she walks, trots and canters nicely into a soft outline.

She has been to pole work clinics and has started jumping, taking everything in her stride, she will come on quickly in this area as she really enjoys it.

She has been xc schooling and took to it like a duck to water jumping everything asked of her inc ditches, steps, tyres and going through water with no problem.

Yogi is an incredible homebred and produced five year old 148cm gelding. He qualified for the RDS Connemara Performance Hunter Class 2026 in Scarteen taking top spot from a field of 70 ponies. He jumped a beautiful clear round in the RDS over a challenging course and he soaked up the electric atmosphere with his very sensible and chilled nature.

Yogi also competed in IPS classes; placing 2nd in the Spring show over 16 Connemara Working hunter class, 4th in the over 16 Connemara ridden class. He has been produced slowly and correctly with his future in mind. He has a scopey, careful and lovely action while jumping equally matched with uphill balanced flatwork. He has already proven his talents at such a young age but he has a lot more in the tank and should make a top class eventing pony as he is a brave as a lion and has a great Connemara brain to go along with it.

He is straight and correct with all class one breeding which includes Ardravinna Andy, Castle Squire, Maamhill, Abbeyleix Owen. He has a wonderful temperament and is a delight to work with in every way. He can be put in the field for months and hop up and go. Lissy has been with us for several months now and is a pleasure to have on the yard . She has been out to various different arena hires and placing in her first competitive show , she’s currently happily jumping round 80/90s tracks and proving to have more ability and scope to go further . She’s also been on numerous fun rides out with the Holcombe harriers with a 15 yr old girl ,at which she behaved very mannerly and jumped everything at the back and in the middle of the field . Lissy loves cross country and is very brave and careful jumping natural fences ,logs ,ditches and hedges at home and on fun rides .

She’s very well balanced in all three paces and works lovely on the flat . Is often ridden in open areas across stubble fields by various different jockeys . Happily hacks out in company and on her own and sees heavy traffic daily and farm machinery . Lissy is a very talented pony that I personally think would excel in an event home but equally go to a pony club home or hunt home .

No lumps bumps or vices good to do everything on the ground load , catch etc .

Maisie has 3 lovely paces and has all basic schooling established. She has all the attributes to make a great dressage pony. She has a lovely soft mouth and is a leg on ride, not sharp or spooky . She has clean limbs and would also do very well showing.

Absolute diamond to hack alone or in company and with traffic, she really enjoys going out and exploring. Been on hound excercise and behaved perfectly and was in her absolute element forward but controllable and sensible. She was excellent with both the hounds and other horses getting close. She will make the most fantastic hunter/ fun ride/ beach ride horse or also competes dressage/showing.

Whilst she has a capable jump, Maisie does not enjoy her show jumping. She is happy to jump the occasional small fence and i am sure would pop fences out hunting/ fun rides, but show jumping isnt her love which is the reason for sale as young teenage rider wants to jump.

Maisie will be happiest in a home with lots of hacking and fun stuff rather than ridden in the arena everyday. Totally safe and a loving and kind mare who is easy to handle in all ways. Dora has been aloud to mature and has carefully and correctly been professionally broken .

She is working in a beautiful outline in walk , trot and canter is coming along nicely, she has been to local shows where she won first time out and placed in top 3 in big classes , with the judges saying what a delightful step of a traditional that will go far in the showing world !

Just yesterday she went to her first Dressage competition were she won 🥇 by a large margin!

We will continue to take Dora on outlines to shows and dressage and she also goes hound exercise with she loves ! If she is still with us we will be hunting her come the Autumn.

She Has popped a small fence , done fun ride , she is safe and fantastic in large groups and open spaces , and brilliant on her own . She is still green but not a bad bone in her body , never bucked , reared , span or done anything remotely dangerous!

She is more forward but still requires a small amount of leg , fantastic breaks lovely snaffle mouth , everything you would want in a smart young cob . We really feel she has the potential to go far showing , she has 3 correct and flashy paces , no lumps or bumps , no vices , beautiful manners on the ground , travels like a pro , easy to load and deal with in new environments , never kicks or bites , never marish or silly in a field , great to catch , lives off fresh air but never had lami / been lame sick or sorry ! She really is a fantastic pony who has been produced correctly and ready to continue going out and about ! ! Brilliant around the hounds wasn’t bothered in the slightest, she will peel away from a group with no effort and join calmly !

We feel she will be very well suited to any number of riders from a teen , young adult or even a Middle Ages / older person wanting a trusted safe but not huge pony to go out and have lots of fun on !

Unfortunately due to my car completely breaking Dora is up for sale far sooner than planned as I need the funds to go towards that . She is priced for a quick sale and tbh is a bargain .

Compact 14hh, 10 yo, Connemara Mare.

Maisie has been with us for the last 4 years, she has been ridden and brought on by my daughter who is now 15 and has sadly outgrown her.

Maisie is a fantastic, hardy trail hunting pony who has become strong & forward going over the time we have had her but she can also stay at the back of the hunting field. She has taught my daughter to be a great cross country rider. She is suited more to a petite lady or strong teen with strength from their seat.

Maisie is very sure footed, jumping hedges, ditches, rails and walls, crossing all types of country. Trail hunting is Maisie's number one love and we would prefer her to go to a hunting home.

She has been to Pony Club Camp for the last 5 summers which she really enjoys, jumping up to 90cm in both SJ and XC and managing a nice dressage test HOWEVER she has fallen out of love with competing and is very reluctant to take part so she is NOT being sold as a competition pony although she trains beautifully in every discipline. Maisie has also Pony Raced coming 2nd twice and 4th twice. She loves to team chase and she has been part of a hunt relay team and competed in mounted games - she was fun and competitive in all of those.

Maisie hacks alone, in company and in wide open spaces. She is fine in traffic and lives on a working farm.

She's very easy to look after, catch, box, shoe and clip.

She has mild sweet itch in the summer months which is easily managed wearing a rug. Her tack will be available to purchase.

I brought Boris 2 years ago as a project, however he very quickly stole my heart and I’ve been putting this decision off for a very long time, but the time has come for him to find a new family who will adore him just as much as I do. 

Boris has 3 balanced paces, he’s light in the hand, eager to please and a very straightforward enjoyable ride, he is snaffled mouthed at all times and is never strong or silly. 

He adjusts well to his rider and can plod around in the slow lane or equally can rank it up for a more forward ride. He is beginning his lateral movements and changes and is proven to be a very quick learner. Boris has an exceptional groundwork education, understands voice commands and will “emergency stop” if asked to. Boris is the sort you can leave for weeks, hop straight on & enjoy- even sensible enough to have happily given small children rides.

Boris hacks alone and in company, he doesn’t fizz up in open spaces and isn’t bothered to be left behind or separated from another horse. He has plenty of experience around heavy machinery and traffic. 

Boris loads and travels like a dream, he has seen a lot of the world and isn’t phased by busy warmups or new venues. He will happily stand all day by the lorry and is always such a pleasure to take out. 

This year Boris has participated in pretty much every discipline, he is loved by judges and always gets lots of attention when out and about. He absolutely loves his jumping and happily pops round 90cm courses, he will always take a miss and jump from any stride. A genuine, willing horse who always wants to please, he produces a lovely dressage test and consistently scores well. Boris has been there and done it all: showjumping, XC schooling, dressage, showing, hunting, beach rides & many clinics. He is a genuine all- round prospect with the talent, scope and attitude to progress to a high level in any chosen discipline. 

Boris is perfect for the vet, dentist, farrier, physio, sheath cleaner etc. He is barefoot, up to date with vaccinations and worming, and he has no medical history.
