Vinnie – 13.2hh Cob

Handsome In The Making (Vinnie) is a lovely 13.2hh cob who has been a huge part of the family for over 3 years. He is only for sale as his current rider have sadly outgrown him.

Vinnie is a genuine all-rounder who enjoys his work and has experience in hunting, showjumping, dressage, flatwork, XC, pony racing and anything Pony Club.

He regularly hunts and is an absolute machine out hunting — he will go all day! He is forward-going and is ridden in a universal gag when hunting. He jumps willingly, and will go at the front or back of the field, stands at a meet and is good with the hounds.

He loves his jumping and regularly show jumps at 60–70cm. He has also done lots of XC schooling, XC competition and 1 ODE, all of which he really enjoys.

On the flat, Vinnie has three lovely paces. He qualified for Pony Club Dressage Regionals, where he finished in the top 20, and has also qualified for Pony Club SJ Regionals at Rectory Farm 28th August 2026.

Vinnie regularly attends Pony Club rallies and competitions and has also taken part in mounted games, which he finds very exciting. He handles the show environment well and has been to numerous local shows.

For jumping and XC he is ridden on the snaffle ring of the gag.

Vinnie hacks alone, but perfers company.

A very attractive, 13.2HH (137cm), 5 year old (2021), bay New Forest Pony. She was backed in August 2025 and has been doing a variety of educational activities since, including hunter trials, hunting, showjumping competitions, showing, lots of hacking, and jump clinics.

She is quiet and straightforward with a lovely temperament. She loves to be groomed and made a fuss of. She lives out but was stabled at night between December and March, so is comfortable being in or out. She has been a lead rein pony for the smallest children and a safe hack for older children and adults. She has given a small adult that works for us the confidence to canter again!!

As we have taken her education slowly, she is competing at 60cm but is a careful jumper and on the lunge has jumped 90cm oxers and produces a good shape over the fence. If you point her between the wings, she will jump the fence and always tries her best. She has jumped 1m+ at home, demonstrating plenty of scope and showing that there is lots more to come as she develops and matures. She has also been ridden bareback (seen in videos). She genuinely enjoys her jumping and has a fantastic attitude to her work.

XC and Hacking

Eira has been XC schooling and loves it, jumping ditches, steps, houses, skinnies, water and brushes, taking everything in her stride. She's proven herself brave and genuine and would take to hunting brilliantly. She hacks alone or in company, happily at the front or the back, and can also be led from another horse. She is never nappy and is fantastic in all types of traffic. She has experienced lorries, tractors with trailers, bikes, motorcycles, cars, vans and even tractors being loaded onto lorries. Eira has been ridden by everyone from young beginners to middle-aged ladies and is a joy to ride in open spaces. She has also attended a fun ride and behaved brilliantly, and even stopped at the pub halfway round!

Temperament and Handling

On the ground, Eira is the easiest pony ever to handle. She is sweet-natured, kind and loves attention. She is easy to catch, great to load, good with the farrier, enjoys being groomed and fussed over, ties up quietly alone and in company and is a pleasure to have around the yard. She stables well, turns out happily and is incredibly straightforward in her daily routine. She ties up at shows inside and outside of the lorry and can also be left alone with peace of mind. She is also fantastic at being put into “park”, making her exactly the sort of pony you want for Pony Club rallies. She is worth her weight in gold.

Health and History

Eira is fully up to date with vaccinations, teeth and worming and passed a 5-stage vetting at the beginning of the summer. She has excellent feet and is currently shod at the front. She has no lumps, bumps or blemishes and is snaffle-mouthed at all times. She has previously done lots of hacking, Pony Club rallies and has even had a go at mounted games with a 16-year-old girl and young novices, making a strong foundation for a sensible pony. She has been brought on slowly and correctly and is a very special young pony. I believe she would also give polo a good crack!

Eira would suit a forever home with a competitive teen, small adult or family looking for a serious all-rounder to have fun with and progress. I am 5ft5 and lightweight, so someone around the same height or smaller would be a great fit. The dressage saddle she is currently in makes me look much taller, due to the long stirrups. ⭐Super Sally has been a true pleasure to own and certainly lives up to her name. We can't fault this pony and she will only go to a 5⭐ home. She is a Dilton bred warmblood x New Forest pony and has been a dream to own.

Sally is a genuine all rounder, her achievements include:

☑️Qualified and competed in the sunshine tour finishing in the top 10

☑️Regularly show jumped up to 90/1m comfortably

☑️Has BSJ points on record

☑️Has hunted successfully for a full season and loves it, never refused a hedge or fence.

☑️She loves cross country, is good with water and ditches.

☑️She has evented and done arena eventing.

☑️She was a very good pony club pony and throughout her time at pony club she was on the pony club show jumping team, barrel raced, and has done limited mounted games. She has been to multiple pc rallies, fundays and events and never failed to impress.

☑️Sally will perform a dressage test up to a high standard.

⭐Sally always behaved well at shows and will really look after her jockey and with kindness will jump the moon. She's always in the rosettes and we know we're guaranteed an enjoyable day when we take her out whichever discipline we're competing in.

⭐She has no malice towards owners but is a typical mare and enjoys her own space in turnout and yard although during a hunt, warm up ring etc she is brilliant, well behaved and very tolerant.

Qualified and competed Balmoral U16s 2026, competed RDS qualifiers 2026, competed countless local competitions and county show derbies nationwide, competed SJ, in consistent schooling in lessons both individual and group all summer, hunted 25/26 season with South Westmeaths. Multiple wins and placings over summer.

Traditional type Connemara, robust and well put together, always well commended at shows. Very straight mover, no blemishes. Plenty of scope, a very willing pony with a huge amount of try which comes across well in the ring.

Very gentle and friendly on the ground, a happy character who can be handled by all the family on any day. No vices, no lumps or bumps.

Ridden and hunted by riders of mixed abilities, goes first or last, alone or in company. Stitch is a very safe pony who looks after his rider. This pony is a pleasure to take out to any event and will bring a lot of joy to his next family.
