'Lightning' The MOST Gorgeous Best Friend anyone could wish for. He is the easiest, sweetest boy to handle. We call him our pet dog, as he would follow us around all day for cuddles if he could.

He is beautiful on the flat and very responsive. He behaves at arena hire, cross country, pony club rallies, fun rides and competitions, the same as he does at home. Perfect in open spaces and not strong. Been through water & loves a day out.

Before us he was in Ireland, and loved to go out hunting too.

We ride him in a snaffle, but when a tiny rider pops on him we put him on the second ring on a gag & this gives them plenty of brakes. Nothing more is needed, he’s that perfect. He really wants to please & never does anything naughty.

When at the gallops he’ll fly up the track with the rider trying to win, or stay 1/2 a mile back with a nervous rider just wanting to trot. He really is a dream.

Saying all this, he isn’t a complete first pony, as he loves jumping & becomes much more forward when you pop the jumps up past 50cm. He will happily trot around a course of cross poles though. If the rider can hold their reins, walk & trot, then he’ll teach you everything else nice & calmly.

He’s been to lots of stay away shows this year & loved it. Most recently Spooktacular at Arena UK, jumping double clears every day in the 40&50cm.

We’ve competed him successfully up to 65cm. Arena Hire up to 80cm, individual jumps up to 95cm. Scope for more.

In Ireland he competed in 18 classes, 70&80cm and won 17 of them!! Had 1 pole in the other. With an experienced jockey he would be a complete rosette machine!

Very fast against the clock, incredible turns. Could also be a fantastic games pony with training.

He is ridden successfully by a small 6 year old girl. As his 8 year old rider is the size of a 12-13 year old, so just too big for another season :(.

He’s never been schooled by adults. Any size kid/ or age can jump on. He’s good to go and super sensible & safe.

He does not kick, rear, buck or anything else of this description. No vices, or issues.

Turns out with mares & geldings.

Handled by kids daily, including my 4 year old, who turns him out & brings him in. The kids often ride him back & forth to the field in a head collar, sat on his rug.

Up to date with farrier, injections, chiropractor, dentist and wormers.

Price £9,000 – £10,500 (depending on tack options)

Full set of rugs and tack negotiable.

Frodo - 14.2 bay gelding, 14 year old New Forest pony. Based OX5 (15 mins out of Oxford). Low 4s required, tack and rugs negotiable at extra. Honest advert.

Great to hack in company, can get a little nervous/nappy by himself in traffic. Nothing a firm rider couldn’t work through.
Sweet on the flat with good basic schooling, more whoa than go.
Bold and easy XC but snaffle mouthed at all times.
Has previously hunted and would enjoy this first and foremost. He’s a steady kick along sort.
He will jump a course and has competed up to 60cm but this is not where his passion lies and we wouldn’t want him to go to a home that wants to jump lots of coloured poles.
Easy to do on the ground, great to clip/shoe/lead. Can take a minute to load but will get on a trailer or 3.5t so long as he isn’t bullied on. Travels like a dream. An absolute pleasure to take out and about.
Can pop a small cheeky buck in, mainly when he can’t be bothered with schooling!
A lovely boy who is ideally looking for a hacking and hunting home primarily with a bit of low level pony club in the off season.

He lives in or out and is good with other horses and ponies, he lives on fresh air and is sweet on the ground. He is up to date with teeth, feet, worming and chiropractor. Never been sick or sorry.

We are based OX5 with great trial facilities, videos/photos of everything can be seen, PLEASE no time wasters or tyre kickers, we have been very honest in the ad and this is an incredibly hard sale of much loved pony.

Open to vetting, inspections, instructors etc. We are in no rush to sell and have a specific type of home in mind for Frodo. Looking for a quick hassle free sale.

We have had Goosey for nearly four years from when my daughter was nine-years-old. Forward going & fun, she has been an amazing first 138cm racing pony & is now hopelessly outgrown.

Racing results:
1st Warwick
2nd Cheltenham
1st Haydock
3rd Bangor
9th 138cm Racing Pony series from only three starts & a total option of nine races.
Previously placed in PRA racecourse series.

Goosey will walk quietly round the paddock, trots or canters sedately to post even when other ponies are misbehaving. She is very easy at the start enabling her jockey to get a good position. Goosey is a great pony to learn to ride a race on as she is easy to position & has plenty of both speed & natural stamina when asked to make her move,

Goosey is a fantastic trail hunting pony either going towards the front, last or on point. She will jump & cross whatever country she is asked including gates & hedges. With us she has hunted with the Worcestershire, Ludlow & North Hereford. She will stand quietly Autumn Hunting & at the meet.

My daughter is able to get her in, tack her up & hack round the fields on her own.

Pony Club highlights:
Qualified Regional Show Jumping 80cm
Arena Eventing qualified for Spring Festival 80cm
Area Eventing 80cm
Area Dressage 70 & Grassroots

Dolly

14.2h 6yo mare

Dolly is a very sweet little lady who’s very kind and easy. She’s like a little mouse in the yard you don’t even know she is there! Beautifully marked with beautiful feather - equally she would look amazing clipped out if that’s your bag.

Dolly knows her basics in the school and would definitely be a lovely little dressage pony with further education. She would look stunning with a set of plaits in the white boards. She has a lovely little jump and pops a little course with ease. Has been Xc schooling which she loved. She was easy and snaffle mouth at all times.

Dolly is super to hack and absolutely loves mooching around. Dolly has been hunting which she really enjoyed. Stood beautifully, popped some rustics and seen ditches with an 11yo girl.
Stands at the top of the gallops and lets horses work past her at speed!

Loves a groom and a bath. Very very easy to deal with in the yard. Very loving temperament on the ground.

It is with a very heavy and sad heart that we have to decided to look for a new home for our Daisy Doo as she is being completely wasted and has so much potential and lots more to give, so please absolutely no time wasters or joy riders.

THIS IS A 100% GENUINE TRUTHFUL AD WITH ALL PROS AND CONS SO PLEASE READ ALL THE DESCRIPTION.

Daisy was brought for my 11 year old daughter nearly 4 years ago as her 2nd pony , unfortunately my daughter had lost all interest in horses around a year ago so we put Daisy on loan for a year hoping my daughter would come back to it unfortunately she hasn't.

Daisy is currently on loan to a mother/daughter share kept at the same yard , her daughter knew the basics but was very novice , Daisy has now taught her to ride and brought her confidence on leaps and bounds , Mum is very experienced with horses and knows what she is doing , Daisy really does know her riders ,for the novice rider she will take care of you and teach you to never be to relaxed or content whist riding, for the experienced rider she will be more forward going , like most horses there may be a possibility she might even test you to see how much she can get away with ,may take the biscuit a little , but once she realises your not going to let her take the biscuit shes an amazing fun ride.

Daisy will hack out alone or in company , she will be more forward going on her own and a little more dramatic, again with regular riding all the drama subsides.

The reason for loan home not purchasing is her 13 year daughter has very long legs and although daisy does take up a lot of leg she is now starting to look quite tall on her so would need something bigger very soon.

We have done pony club rallies, cross country, hunting, beach rides , fun rides ,local shows in hand and ridden always placed and lots of hacking she just takes everything in her stride, Daisy can lead or be lead off another horse , ive done plenty of times , ive lead daisy off my horse with a novice rider or when ive not got the time to ride both horses , never silly or strong , she may neigh which is very loud, sounds extremely dramatic but nothing silly , you can pull Daisy from the field once a year and she would still be the same horse , however she only gets better with regular riding.

Daisy is very low mileage as she was broke at 9 years old by previous owners .
Daisy is still a little green in some areas but with regular riding ,more schooling and furthering her education she will excel in any discipline you wish to do with her.

Daisy is not your typical grumpy face pulling mare , she would stand to be fussed and groomed all day she is very loving.
Daisy is not quite a first pony due to her spooks and dramatic behaviour at times but if a rider knows the basics and is confident she would further your riding ability .
Daisy has never bucked reared or bolted , however she may throw a little buck with excitement nothing ever malicious, she is never silly or strong , as with majority of Welsh ponies she can be a drama queen!!
For example you could be out on a lovely hack then out of no where she will spook/jump at a blade of grass that moved, i swear she does this on purpose to wake her rider up!!.

Daisy is not bothered by big rubbish piles drains anything that would spook a regualr horse shes fine with it all , she is 100% in traffic , however not so keen on tractors or loud fast motorbikes , she likes to be spoken to with plenty of reassurance, we just pull in or over , face the tractor or motorbike so she can see whats coming she is fine, she will pass the tractor if need be , she may rush past it or turn into a fire breathing dragon whilst going past.

Daisy currently lives out 24/7 with my old mare with the odd night in to have a break from the cold weather , she is a very good doer and has never been sick or sorry , no laminitis, but she does fatten up very easy so ive been strip grazing in the summer months , Daisy does know when the electric fence is live or not and will go through them if not live .

Daisy did take the best part of a year to fully settle into her new environment , although she would be stressy and dramatic when brought out of the field without her friend she was never nasty or malicious, she is a dominant mare so will boss other horses around not viciously but made sure they knew their place .
We did find if she was turned out on her own or next to other horses this wasn't an issue, and you wouldn't get the dramatic dragon, when she was brought away from the herd.
Daisy is extremely clever and responds well to learning new things and likes things to be kept intresting.

Daisy is kept on a farm so used to cows and sheep . There is lots of pheasant shooting especially this time of year in all neighbouring fields , every horse on the yard absolutely hates when its a shoot day it unsettles them all .
We have rode daisy on these days , however she is very unsettled, shakes with fear , and will be sweating whilst grooming and tacking up she really does hate the sound of the guns.
Once on her back she will be nervous and a little hesitant but will settle down once past all the shooting , however because of the stress and fear caused by the shooting we decided to not ride out on these days , as she really is petrified of the shooting all the horses are , on some occasions we have loaded the girls up and took them elsewhere for a ride and she is fine.

Daisy will always let you know if something isn't quite right ie teeth , a sore muscle or the saddle not fitting quite right due to body shape change or in season etc, her behaviour will slightly change nothing nasty but you will notice a slight difference.
I would like her new owners to have an understanding of her and not just see it as "naughty" behaviour there will always be a reason for ANY behaviour change with Daisy but she is never nasty or unpredictable.
I think Daisy would suit all types of homes, however I would like her new owners to have some experience and an understanding of horses .
She would suit a novice or experienced rider , riding school , a happy hacker , pony club pony etc this pony can and will do anything you wish to do with her and will excel in any discipline with further education.

She doesn't respond well to a stroppy aggressive approach she becomes more stubborn, although will respond to a firm tone should she need it, Daisy responds well to a kind ,gentle approach as she really does love a good fuss the more you give to Daisy the more you will get from her in every aspect .

We dont have access to a school on our yard , I do have transport and can hire a school for people that have a GENUINE SERIOUS INTREST!!!

I would say she doesn't have any vices ,but can be a bit stressy whilst settling into her new home .
Daisy is good to box , shoe, clip etc
Daisy is up to date with teeth , physio and saddle check .
Daisy will come with a complete wardrobe , saddle that was made and fitted to her , 2 bridles , a mountain of rugs for every occasion , boots , saddle pads, tack trolley and much more.

I am more than happy to send more photos and videos on request , NO TIME WASTERS!!!

Pick and Mix is good hacking in the heaviest of traffic with another horses or on his own, you can open and shut gates on him and canter though open field and bridleways safety...

Pick and Mix is just snaffle mouthed and he doesn’t get sharp or silly.

Pick and Mix would make a fantastic pony club cob / working Hunter / showing.

Pick and Mix is a lovely fun little horse with a lot of potential .. he has the right temperament and he is a real genuine cob.

He really does have an older head on his shoulders.

Good to shoe/box/load /bath/catch etc...

(Registered name is Slufters Dun N Dusted) She is by Green cottage ambassador who is by Peverill Peterborough

Cracking example of a New Forest pony who is county standard for both flat and workers but only lightly shown. She won at Romsey County this September and she was on the Pony club winning 70 showjumping team this summer

She has been ridden by an 11-year-old child this season, sad sale as adult owner feels she’s a bit on the small side for her and that she is holding her back. Beau is a very correct pony who is a super mover with a neat and tidy jump, she will definitely be a real contender if campaigned properly . Equally she is quiet enough for a competent child and can continue having fun at Pony Club and local level shows. She is a well schooled ride and sits on the bridle, she loves her work and lots of variety and has enjoyed doing lots of cross country, hunter trials and has hunted with the New Forest Bloodhounds. She has mainly show jumped with child rider and done Pony club teams and rallies. She would best suit either a small adult or competent child who is keen to get out and do things, she’s not a first pony as has the typical New Forest bit of sass, nothing nasty but she likes to be kept busy!

She is 100% in traffic and with the Farrier and to be clipped etc, very easy pony to have one the yard and happy to live in or out.

As a youngster, she ran on the forest and so is used to everything and not bothered by a bit of chaos.

Seen at livery.

An absolute sweetheart with a heart of gold — there isn’t a nasty bone in her body. She loves fuss and attention and is a pleasure to have on the yard.

Lovely to do in every way – bath, clip, travel, load, catch – you name it, she’s easy! She’ll happily stand on the box at a show while another is taken off without making a fuss.

A genuine little allrounder – Bella has been to plenty of arena hires and always behaves exactly the same away from home as she does at home. She’s bold, honest, and brave over a fence, never looks at fillers or water trays, and has a great pop in her.

XC and hacking superstar – she’s been over cross-country jumps and through water, and she loves to hack. Will happily canter in open fields with others, never gets hot or silly, and always comes back when asked.

She’s barefoot, up to date with everything, and had her teeth done last month.

Bella would make a fantastic PC pony, mother–daughter share, or simply a wonderful family best friend for someone who wants a kind, fun, and safe little mare to enjoy.

Meet ‘Lance’ - a super 14hh, 18yo gelding

He’s been there and done it and got every t-shirt. Been ridden by children and teens all his life. Would also be more than happy with a small adult

Really straight to ride - more of a second pony as is what u would describe as too forward for the FR job.

Plenty of show jumping / competing experience. Jumped up to 85cm , regularly been to stay away shows , pony club etc

Hacks out superbly - a brilliant sort in traffic and open spaces , very reliable and easy going

Friendly boy, happy to be bathed , groomed etc

BUT in certain hands , can be extremely ill mannered on the ground. Needs leading with a chiffney on otherwise he will just drag you and decided he’s off elsewhere for a snack.
This is an unfortunate long term habit I think and I do believe you’re better just managing this and loving him for who he is which under saddle , he’s a legend !!!

Ideal for someone who needs a good pony without the good pony budget !!

Been hopelessly outgrown so not done a great lot in the last 12 months. However has been in work with us and ridden by myself (adult) as well as our novice and experienced yard girls and has never put a foot out of place

She has done plenty of riding club, showjumping, hunting and dressage. Tallulah will jump whatever you place her at, off any stride and is super careful, a fantastic candidate for a BS pony, or a pony club allrounder as she has plenty of showjumping experience already, she isn’t bothered by XC fences or coloured fillers and she looks after her rider.

She will give you plenty of confidence and makes light work of jumping a track of fences.

She’s super to hack out alone and in company, she isn’t bothered by heavy traffic, farm machinery, or the gayest of traffic, a real super star pony with so much offer and lots of brilliant qualities, she’s special enough to do a showing or worker’s job, but equally a great mother daughter share or pony club pony.

She’s super laid back in the yard, affectionate and sweet to handle in every way, a real easy type to have around with impeccable manners.

Bob has been slowly and correctly produced, with his future in mind.

He is very easy to ride on the flat with 3 balanced paces, and has a very correct and natural jump. He will jump whatever is placed in front of him, isn’t phased by fillers, water trays, ditches etc and will take a miss and not get offended. He has attended dressage and SJ competitions, XC schooled, hunted, and he has been to pony club rallies with a 13yo rider.

Fantastic to hack alone and in company- great in traffic and lives on a farm so used to big machinery. Easy to do in all ways, good to load and has travelled in a trailer, 3.5t and 7.5 tonne and will stand around all day.

He is a really kind, easy pony to have around the yard. Well put together and clean limbs- he would make a lovely WHP and will measure in. Very sad sale of this much loved pony, but he isn’t going to grow enough for my long legged children!

Plenty more photos/videos available. This pony has a lot of ability and in the right hands could end up as a serious competition pony.

All round ultimate confidence giver

Belle is extremely experienced in all elements of being a riding pony. She hacks alone and in company, always bombproof in traffic, rides and leads every way possible.

Hunts wherever in the field you want her to be. Jumps everything in a rhythm, never spooks and is always the same pony no matter what.

She has done all pony club activities with numerous children of all abilities. Gone to pony club camps with first timers and gave them the best time.

Extremely easy in all aspects on the ground. Very familiar with novices and can be ridden by anyone who can kick.

This pony is safe, easy and fun for the whole family.

Crispin
I want to be completely honest with this pony with his highs and lows. Crispin is a typical Welsh who needs a strong competition rider who will show him who’s boss. He’s not a dangerous horse at all and has been ridden by a 12 year old girl who had him in top shape out competing but with the girl having a confidence knock he’s been out off work for around 3/4 months.

I will put videos off his napping issue and he only does this to get out off work

On to his good parts
Crispin is such a amazing pony when he’s got a strong rider

When he was being ridden he was being jumped round 1m courses with some scope to go bigger with the right rider He competed at 80/90 a few times and did really well coming home with some Rosets

He would become a top show jumper with a teen/young adult or I believe would be a cracking hunter.

He works nice on the flat but hasn’t done a dressage test in around a year and a half but was told from his previous owners he did a few. He’s done xc hires and is a machine at xc got phased my water ditches steps ect.

Hacks alone and in company good in open spaces

I have videos off him at his worst and best please message for videos He will be sold from the field as doesn’t have a jockey.

Don’t be put off from his lows because he is such an amazing pony when he’s has a strong rider

Good for farrier dentist load but will need sedation for clipping
