She can be forward-going if wanted, but is also happy to go steadily. She is not a lead-rein pony, as she genuinely loves her job and enjoys being kept busy.

She is good to clip, load, and for the farrier. All vaccinations and routine care are up to date, and she is regularly wormed.

‘Clyard Classic’ aka cookie, is a stunning dun Connemara pony who I’ve owned since an unbroken 3 year old.
Cookies temperament is second to none… he has been a pleasure to produce and this is a very sad sale of what’s become a very loved pony by not just myself.

Cookie moves beautifully on the flat with 3 balanced paces, simple changes being soft and correct in the contact. I believe he could go on to be a top WHP/grassroots contender/hunting pony but likewise would turn his hoof to pretty much any discipline, pony club etc… His jump is forever improving in technique and he shows to be bold and brave to a fence. Cookie has been out show-jump and x-country schooling proving unfazed by new venues, fillers, ditches, trays etc… he truly Loves his job and just wants to please! Has been ridden by my younger sister coming off her first pony and was a complete angel.

Cookie is good to hack alone and in company. He is never strong and always snaffle mouthed. Doesn’t get lit up in open spaces and has seen lots of farm machinery and traffic. He is good to load and will stand on the box all day (travels in our 3.5t lorry) is good for the farrier and amazing to be clipped! Cookie loves a fuss and will stand all day to be pampered with, happy to be left alone in stable/field/lorry and equally happy in a busy environment with company and others coming and going.

Up to date with worming, vaccines, dentist.

Cookie is the definition of ‘young head on old shoulders’ he’s very straightforward and not a lot bothers him… however he is 4 years old so therefore not a complete novice ride as his education still needs to be continued to get the best out of him. Home is paramount and will be vetted, this is a very sad sale of a pony I’ve grew very in love with for his attitude towards everything.

Been there, done it and got the T-Shirt. Barney has done low level Dressage, competed in showjumping up to 70cm, cross country, beach rides, pony club games, mounted games, hunted at the front of the field and back.

Barney will put his all into everything with the right rider. Barney is better suited to a more competent, child / small teen / petite adult.

Barney is impeccably well behaved to hack alone or in company: fantastic on the roads and with heavy traffic, cars, bikes, bicycles, Lorries, farm machinery etc. Not the spooky type either. Can be a little more forward going in open areas, and a little stronger but nothing dangerous and certainly something that can be managed by the correct rider. He does not bolt he just takes a minute to come back down paces, He does not pull any silly moves! Although he can bit speedier in open fields he still can walk around on the buckle.

In the school he has 3 balanced paces. He is not a world beater when it comes to jumping, he does what he needs to, he has seen a variety of different jumps over his time and plenty of fillers. He knows his job, and will thrive in every aspect with the correct rider.

On the ground Barney can be nippy (not at all nasty just a habit) he can occasionally also be strong to handle, but in capable hands this is very easy to maintain and nothing dangerous. However these 2 vices I have been working on and with consistent boundaries I don't see him keeping this attitude up, he already with me does not display these behaviours any longer, but I do believe he possibly could try it in his new home until boundaries are set.

Barney is great for the farrier (always been barefoot and has great feet) great with the vet and easy to load and travels like a saint. Good to clip. Easy to tack up and loves a groom. He is the type you can leave for weeks on end and pick back up where you left off.

Barney is with me for the soul purpose of sale, he was in his previous home for 11 years where he was loved dearly, their reason for sale was no fault of his own, the lady had 2 other horses and not enough time to keep Barney in work, and Barney just is not ready for retirement yet - he’s got plenty more to give! Anyone interested will be given this lady’s number so you can talk with her in regards to more information/queries on Barney.

A bonus is that Barney comes with his full wardrobe: saddle and bridle. Snaffle mouthed always.

Looking for a fantastic 5 star home for this boy who will happily give his old owners updates every now and then.

Unfortunately I do not have a school on site, but right next door we have level tracks through the woodland and plenty of logs that can be jumped. Also more than welcome to take him on a hack down the roads.

Amazing hunting pony - 9 year old golden dun mare. Hunted 3 full seasons, and some odd days this season, with The South Downs Bloodhounds (now The Wessex Bloodhounds) - has field mastered and ridden up with hounds.

Will go first or last and has caught many loose horses! Hunting references available.

Loves fun rides, beach rides, pub rides, XC schooling and hacks in company or alone in the New Forest. Great to load, shoe, bath, clip and with farrier, vet and dentist.

Vaccinations and teeth up to date. This pony would definitely race as has the heart to win. Loves hacking and jumps anything on The New Forest - gorse bushes, ditches, logs etc - not strong - will gallop and pull up very easily.

We bought her to hunt and she has been amazing - we are not selling her as a competition pony because we haven’t done anything like that with her as we are not a competition home - please don’t ask for videos of her competing in SJ, dressage, Eventing or at PC or videos of her in a competition environment, as we do not have these.

Genuine Fun Pony

13.1hh 10 yrs extremely kind and honest, loving family pony who is looking for the very best of homes where she can continue to give confidence, love and win rossettes for her new family. She is established in all spheres and offers a genuine fun ride, suitable for both adults and children as she takes up the leg well making her suited to all family members.

A fantastic first or second pony club pony but isn’t a plod, she works off the leg so would be a peg to much for a child that’s going to burst into tears if she trots forward when asked , a real professional in all activities, a brilliant confidence giver to get a child jumping from cross poles to 90cm , she is great both showjumping and cross country and was previously a fantastic hunting pony who has hunted with young children and adults alike. She is a cracking push button ride, combining “ not too fast “ with equally “ not too slow” and is ridden with a snaffle at all times. Well schooled , and loves doing pairs , Hunter trials, unaffiliated jumping etc, has the scope and honestly to low level BSJA too! She loves to jump both SJ and XC and never stops .

To hack out she is as good as you will find, you name it, lorry’s , buses , tractors, farm machines, dogs, bikes , motorcycles, this little lady will not blink an eye !

Del needs little introduction to the working hunter community having won both RIHS and HOYS as a 133cm M+M WHP.

He has untapped potential in the plaited and nursery stakes ranks too as we have never had a young enough rider to compete him in these classes so he’s therefore still a novice plaited pony, which would be perfect for somebody who wanted to get to know him before tackling the open tracks.

Only available due to his owner having a baby - she had retained him to compete him herself following his HOYS win last year as he is totally safe and she knew she would trust him 100% following childbirth but unfortunately her home circumstances have now changed and she no longer has the time for him.

I would love to retain the ride on him however I know this is not always possible. I also have no commitments to another 133cm M+M WHP in the remainder of the HOYS qualifiers so I would be happy to try to qualify him on behalf of a new owner too.

Totally easy in every way, no quirks or vices whatsoever.

He is forward thinking, loves to jump and would prefer a game rider who’ll let him take care of business. He’s not strong, you don’t have to see strides and you can literally steer him round courses of fences and have the best fun whilst doing it but because of the way he likes to go, he wouldn’t suit a totally nervous child who might prefer a ‘kick-along’.

Looking for a new home, 15 year old 14.2, Class 1 Connemara gelding.

Reggie is a fabulous hunting pony, he is scopey but sensitive in a competition environment taking confidence from his rider therefore not suitable for a competition home. He is a great pony for pony club camp, having attended numerous junior and senior camps and has filled in at the last minute for new riders in need of a pony.

Reggie is a good doer, easy to manage, and happily turns out either alone or with a herd.

He is bomb proof in traffic and hacks alone and in company, is snaffled mouthed, and travels well.

Hunting is truly his happy place – bold, genuine, and happy to jump whatever is put in front of him, while also standing patiently when needed. He is a sweet pony, with a confident and supportive rider, he has plenty to offer.

He is a full up 14.2hh, solid Connemara and would be a great mother/daughter share.
