11 year old, 14.1hh Highland pony.

Dougal is a versatile Highland who is happy to put his hoof to anything. I have owned him for 4.5 years and in this time we’ve had a blast doing a bit of everything - XC/ SJ, hunter trials, dressage, hunting, arena eventing, riding camps, and beach rides to name a few!

He has the ability to turn up a notch when it’s needed but also drop a gear and pottle around for a relaxing hack with the dog at foot. Always ridden in a snaffle.

He is happy out on his own or with others and isn’t phased by traffic or open spaces. Excellent for the farrier/ clipping/ vet and loading.

Dougal really is one in a million and I will only part with him for the best of homes. But I feel that now is the time for him to find a new person to have fun with as I am looking to move onto something bigger to event at higher levels.

Bella is a beautiful model of a cob, a real leg in each corner and a true weight carrier. She would make the ultimate mother and daughter share. As well as a brilliant pony club or show jumping pony.

Bella absolutely loves her jumping and cross country! She is very honest and always helps her rider out. Jumps over fillers and is competing Unaffiliated 60cm and training over 80cm at home. She’s very brave and jumps whatever she’s pointed at without question. She has a neat and careful technique over a fence. Has been ridden in dressage boards and would produce a sweet test.

Bella is brilliant to hack, she goes out in the woods and out on the road for miles on her own and in company, she’s sensible in all types of traffic. Bella enjoys beach rides, she happily walks on a loose rein and goes in the water, and loves a good canter when asked!
She’s been ridden out with hounds and behaved impeccably, she will be a fantastic hunting pony for this season. She’s bold and will take on hunt fences. She’s good to ride in open spaces on her own or out in groups.

Bella has been ridden and handled mostly by a 10yr old girl, who has done the majority of the work with her in Ireland. Always snaffle mouthed, not strong. Responsive enough to the leg, she’s not a kick along cob and has plenty of stamina in her, she’s happy to keep working. She will be a wonderful pony club pony for rallies and camps. You can have a wobble on her she doesn’t take offence, and can do round the world, stand on her back etc. Has been lead around on lead rein with a 4yr old boy. She’s a true family pony.

Bella comes to call in the field. She is good to clip (does get twitched for legs, she doesn’t like her legs being messed round with, you can pick all four up to hoof pick) She is also perfect to shoe, great to load, travel, bath, tack up. She can occasionally pull a face at a new horse next to her in the stable.

I recently imported Bella from Ireland, I am still in touch with her old owner who very much loved her. She passed a five stage vetting on purchase with me, and she is open to any viewings and further vetting.

Avalon Puissance, known at home as Nancy, is a 9 year old Dun mare with breeding and ability in abundance.

She’s by the talented Puissance out of a Prince of Thieves mare who was a Grade A show jumper and evented on the Irish pony European team to 2* level.

In the 6 years we’ve had her, she competed in SJI up to 1m, and now regularly jumps unaffiliated 1.10m and schools around 1.20m at home as rider out of age. Athletic and careful jumper who just gets better as the fences go up!

Nancy absolutely loves cross country and is a serious pony to hunt. Safe and easy from start to finish and jumps any hedge or ditch with her ears pricked.

Hacks alone or in company, enjoys the beach, great with farrier and dentist, clipped without a head collar and travels like a dream.

Completed in his first ode 80cm with a 15yrold the other week a little green but really enjoyed it, ready for some winter training and will be flying next year. Seem tobe very bold xc would make a real fun pc/hunting pony.

Did do a few days hunting last winter and was a v good boy.

Good to hack, clip, load & travel on his own.

Super fun competition pony, done all PC activities, an absolute XC super star, never says no, will jump from any stride, ditches , water, skinnies, steps etc, as brave as a lion and real rossette winner. Competed ODEs , pairs, Hunter trials, arena eventing .

Has the most amazing honest jump, has never been registered BS so is eligible for British Novice and a a sure to be a real rossette winner and ultra competitive. Won buckets of unaffiliated classes at 90cm level with all the jump in the world to be a top track in the right hands.

Elegant paces, well schooled and rides in an outline. Would also suit higher levels PC / School teams / Tetrathalons /

Class 1 breeding, sire is Gwennic de Goariva - this pony is bred to jump! He is a true traditional stamp with fabulous conformation for ridden classes also. He has been started slowly and correctly. Established his ridden career in his first season competing this year and qualified at the first qualifiers for both Balmoral and Dublin with a 14 year old jockey who has home produced him since a 4 year old.
