  • Top class lead rein or first ridden contender
  • Super temperament

Fully broken and riding away. Being ridden by my 7 year old on the lead rein and by a small adult to help with education as still green off lead.

Up to date with feet and vaccinations. Bare foot.

Very easy to do and handle. Loves a groom and fuss, and brilliant with little ones. Happy to stand being groomed, feet picked out, lead around by my 7 year old daughter.

Great on the lead rein over poles and small jumps.

Very correct and a lovely type, will make a super lead rein pony or first ridden with some more work.

Has been shown inhand as a youngster and was 2nd at Nottingham county show as a 2yr old.

Selling on behalf of a friend as she has other ponies her granddaughter is focusing on.

We have had five and a half fun-packed years with Harry, he is now sadly outgrown and my daughter is busy competing on her 13.2hh. I had hoped to keep him for my younger daughter but she just isn't interested.

Harry did step down nicely to do the job of first pony for us and taught my daughter then aged 7 to ride, on the lunge, progressing to riding by herself around the school, jumping small courses and attending weekly pony club rallies. He also did the same for his previous owner's little boy. However, I would say Harry would be much happier being a second pony, he is clever, he has an engine and he can be strong jumping bigger courses.

In his time with us he has done PC and NSEA jumping and dressage, however he has not been out for quite a while due to being outgrown, a broken wrist (trampoline) and other sports commitments, we have kept him ticking over, so he is fit and ready to go. He has jumped around 80/85cm courses at home and on clinics. On the few occasions we have taken him cross country schooling, he has gone up/down steps, jumped ditches and gone through the water. He has participated in sponsored rides, he is safe in open spaces cantering in the fields, and has given my daughter the joyous feeling of galloping on Camber Sands beach at dawn! He has been to pony club camp and he has previously participated in some mounted games winter pairs competitions and training.

Harry is great to hack alone/company. He has been a lead rein pony for us too and I have regularly taken him out with a child on board in one hand and dog in the other. My daughter from quite a young age would take him for a good canter around the fields alone, sometimes following a herd of deer, whilst I walked up with our dogs. He has been well behaved when we've met traffic on our lanes. He is good to load and travel, but prefers company.

Harry has no vices - apart from his love of eating, but sadly for him, he is kept on a strict diet! He is absolutely no bother to catch, bath, clip, vet, farrier (barefoot). He would suffer from sweet itch and also get a sunburnt nose so I keep him protected during the season. He has never been lame or unwell, my physio checks him when she does our horses and he's never needed any treatment. He's always perky, friendly and happy to see you.

I think as a working hunter pony is where Harry's talent lies. He goes in a lovely outline and he is great over rustic fences. He is gorgeous looking and wears a beautiful white mask on his face. In his previous home he had a very successful showing career. He can also produce a very smart dressage test. My ideal home for Harry would be with a competent rider who enjoys dressage/showing or whp and would get the absolute best from him.

£5500 or £6000 including his Kent and Masters Pony Club saddle and full wardrobe. Open to vetting. Sad sale of a much loved pony. 5* home most important.

We purchased this lovely pony from friends as 3yr old to continue the backing process and for him to be my grandsons l/r and f/r pony, however grandson has probably spent time with him in yard about 4 times in last 2 years he is just not interested.

Sadly due to my health issue's the backing has not got any further unfortunately.

We took him to one show in September 2023 but he's been a field ornament mainly since which is a total waste of top pony.

Coming in at night so in no way feral and quite the opposite as he loves people.

With former owners he excelled in-hand and took so many first and championships so has huge potential to be as accomplished under saddle once backed.

He had got as far as a toddler sitting on whilst led around, long lined and done ride and lead on roads from their other pony but having been 'abandoned' on this side of things since with us will need to start a re cap.

He is priced as unbroken but if he doesn't go this coming fortnight I plan to get my sorry act together in order to back him and obviously this will then be reflected in asking price that will go up.

I'm so limited on time hence happy to sell now at the price shown.

Good to do with all normal things, i.e farrier, loading lorry or trailer, easiest boy to catch and thinks he is THE important one, easy to bath, worm with syringe a doddle.

Measured last week and he stands full up 12hands.

Really would like to follow his progress and stay in touch as he is integrated in our hearts.

To drive, Blackberry is so easy, she is literally bulletproof in traffic and would teach someone to drive who has never driven before, she is as safe as they come and knows the job inside out.

Riding wise, this girl has done it all and got the t shirt. She has done all riding club activities, she’s hunted and will navigate her way through any task. Utterly safe, fun, and confidence giving.

This girl could teach you to ride from the very beginning or take you round a showjumping track and keep them all up. She will jump anything you put her at, in trot or canter and has an incredible back end, scopey and careful.

She’s bold with everything, never spooky, probably the best happy hacker we have ever had in the yard and she’s flawless in every single way. Open to any vet or trainer, and open to any type of rider, a beautiful girl under saddle, on the ground and in harness. £9950

  • Fabulous pony with lots more to give!!!

Xylia has been a wonderful pony we owe her everything she is a much loved pony we’ve owned and enjoyed her for 5 fantastic years!!

She will happily lead rein or equally happy as a first ridden. She can also step it up a gear and be competitive when the rider is ready!!

I bought xylia when my daughter was 5, she’s been her best friend ever since, she’s taught my daughter all the basics to ride, from lead rein to jumping her up to 70 cm. She’s happy to be lunged while the children learn.

She’ll stand while they jump on and off her, stand on her, ride her backwards.

Xylia has now given my daughter the confidence and love to go onto jumping BS tracks.

She’s done all pony club events, attending camp, rallies, x country rides, fun rides. She’s always impeccably behaved standing patiently for hours on end.

The children can do all her care with her, grooming, mucking out leading her in and out of the stable.

She’s great to hack, down tracks in open fields, bare back, bridleless!!!

Hopelessly outgrown, I’ve put it off as long as I can but now is the time for her to teach another child the ropes. Very sad sale.

I would like her to go to a knowledgeable home preferably not a first time horse owner. We would be very keen to stay in touch, as I am with her previous owners.

I have an endless amount of videos and pictures it’s difficult to narrow them down. Please call anytime for more information.

Every little girls dream Barbie pony! Star is never out of the ribbons.

He is a real family pony who also enjoys hacking and PC. However, he has the potential to go to the top in the LR showing/workers world.

He is handled daily by my petite 8yo: grooms, turns out, catches, loads etc all by herself.

He's super to take to shows and stands on the trailer all day (travels lorry or trailer).

He qualified for London, Burghley and NPS Scotland Finals at the first attempt.

Star has so much still to offer a small LR jockey to then progress together.

Wasted with us as my daughter is completely off the LR and has lost interest in showing...now focussing on JRN WH and SJ with no younger siblings.

Reluctant sale of Toby, he was bought recently for my 7 year old daughter but his capabilities far outways her experience so he is reluctantly available for a new home.

Toby is an 8 year old 12.2hh piebald gelding. He was with previous owner for 5 years and was frequently competed by their child from age 7. He has done a bit of everything dressage, showing, working hunter and a bit of show jumping.

He has a real talent for showing and places consistently, taking home champion and reserve champion many times. He has three nice paces and clean limbs.

Toby can be forward going and is still young, so for this reason he would be best suited as a lead rein or a second pony. The right little jockey will have a lot of fun with this boy. He is sweet he would literally follow you around all day and loves a cuddle.

Friars Foxglove “Foxy” approximately 11.1hh Welsh A mare whom we have owned for the last 2.5 years. Foxy is a lovely straight moving pony with bags of potential.

Foxy was professionally broken as a 4yr old and has been used predominantly as a lead rein. Foxy also goes off the lead rein and would make a first ridden pony for someone.

Over the last couple of years we have shown Foxy as a lead rein show hunter pony and she has been placed well at a local and county level gaining multiple championships. With her previous owner she was successfully shown in-hand. She has been over poles and popped some small jumps and she isn't phased by obstacles or busy atmospheres. She hacks out alone or in company and is good in traffic.

Foxy lives in a mixed herd, she is currently in at night and out during the day with two geldings. Up to date with vaccinations, worming and farrier.

Only for sale as my youngest daughter is not interested in riding and she is too small for my leggy 10yr old.

Darcy has been my daughter's pony for the past 4 years but he's been hopelessly outgrown and a change in circumstances has forced a very sad sale.

We are still very much in touch with his old owner who had him for 11 years prior.

Please don't let his age put you off, he is not ready to retire and he's still very much full of life and is completely sound and I would love to see him making another child's dreams come true.

Darcy is a forward going fun responsive ride and is quick off the leg.

Darcy really excels at Showjumping and is very fast against the clock and is always in the placings even in very large classes. He has recently been out competing at 50/60cms with ease.

He has done mounted games and pony club racing in the past and was very successful.

To hack he is bomb proof on the roads but can get a bit excited before a gallop. He has never bucked or reared.

Darcy has taken my daughter from doing lead rein/first ridden on him to winning overall junior at our local riding club for the past 3 years and representing the club at STARS at Aintree.

He really excels in the show ring with his flashy movement and effortlesss transitions.

He also makes a good working hunter and will produce a lovely dressage test.

He is up to date with teeth, feet, worming, injections, physio etc and is currently bare foot.

He will come with all his tack (including shires hi lite saddle/show saddle/every day bridle/show bridle) and rugs. The right home is more important than price.

Not your average cob! Sooty has lovely light paces and the sweetest temperament. She is deep in the body so takes up the leg well, but not especially wide. We have owned her for nearly 4 years and she is now very sadly outgrown.

We bought Sooty as a FYFR type for our very nervous 8 year old daughter, and she did a brilliant job of getting her off the lead rein and teaching her how to ride on her own.

During our time with her, Sooty has done pony club, including stay-away camps, mini jumping, fun rides, dressage, lots of hacking, group lessons, trec clinics etc. She is snaffle mouthed at all times.

She is Brilliant hacking in farm traffic, fabulous to lead off another horse, good to load, clip and shoe (shod all round as we do a lot of road work) Always comes to be caught and is the type to come over to you for a cuddle. lunges and long reins. Currently lives out 24/7 with mares and geldings.

My daughter has always led her in and out to the field, loaded her, groomed, tacked up etc by herself.

Sooty is responsive but safe. She is not a whizzy excitable type, but not a plod / dope on a rope either! She loves going out and about and having fun. She has proved brilliant for our nervous daughter but a more gutsy rider could also have a lot of fun.

It is very important that we find Sooty the right family as we all adore her. We are looking for an experienced home for Sooty. She has the sweetest nature and so much to give. We would like to stay in contact with her new owners and references will be required.

This pony is an absolute star. She has been there done it and got the t-shirt.

he has been in a riding school and then went to a private home with a very nervous girl where she has done pretty much everything.

She has done PC camps, all types of PC rallies, low level unaffiliated showjumping and dressage, hunting, farm-rides and much much more.

She has come to ourselves as her rider has now outgrown her and she is now looking for her next jockey. She happily tootles around a small course with a novice / nervous rider but will step up a gear when asked.

Freda works in a lovely shape and tries her hardest for her rider. She has jumped all types of XC fences with all levels of riders.

She happily hacks alone and in company and has seen all types of traffic. Great in open spaces alone or in company. Can have the odd shy at something like a daffodil but this has never been an issue I’m just being totally honest.

She is a really hard sort to find.
