Offered for sale outstanding pony Colt foal 06/05/2024 by Oscar Van De Beekerheide to mature to 148 alongside his dam Jalapeña de Ashwey Z.
Pepper is a bold confident foal who has all the breeding character to make it to the top sport, he is bred for showjumping but would also event or dressage. He’s a very neat compact foal with textbook conformation and great step and active hock action with an uphill canter and a real look at me presence. Recently had his feet trimmed and was really well behaved. He is a great future Stallion prospect. He is registered and passported with the AES registered name ‘Pepper X’.
His sire needs no introduction, being a regular favourite on the European pony jumping circuit since 2018 where he has jumped numerous Nations cups and represented 3 different nations with various riders at European level, there are many top placings and medals won more recently in May he won the CSIP 130 at Sentower and was 2nd in the CSIP 135 at Bolesworth International. He is consistent at top level and is a rare stallion with pure pony breeding with Dutch New Forest orchids bloodlines. As he has been regularly competing he hasn’t concentrated on a stud duties so this is a rare opportunity to acquire offspring by him due to the limited number of frozen straws stored.

His Dam is 148 and has the most amazing horse and pony breeding, her sire Jaleo Du Defey has produced numerous 140 horses despite being stationed at Spanish military and only used in Spain he is sired by Ramiro Z probably the most influential sire of his time. Her dam sire Gwennic De Goariva the french Connemara who has produced many European level ponies in show jumping and also eventing and was stallion of the year 2022, her grand dam Sil da Gig who was herself by Westside Mirah competed to u18 level eventing.
Jalapeña aka Jelly is only a 6 year old mare who was started correctly, before she was put in foal she was riding well in all 3 paces and had been out to a handful of hires and seen various fences and proved bold and brave, she is a switched on ride sharp off the leg but always been ridden in a snaffle and never bucked or reared. She has never had a day lame sick or sorry and is open to any vetting or inspection, she is easy to keep and is vice free, I bought her direct from the breeder as a rising 3 year old and she has done correctly, the only reason she was put in foal was because of the shear number of ponies my daughter was competing for other people last year. She took first time to frozen and was an easy breeder and is an amazing mother, a very rare pony breeding to go back to Ramiro Z. She is empty this time and ready to get out jumping once the foal is weaned. Her maternal brother is 4 year old and has all his discovery clears in limited outings name Ashwey Goldko Z.
I am only offering them for sale due to my daughter finishing on ponies and us loosing our grazing in autumn. I would really love to watch them both go and fulfil their potential they deserve the best of homes as they both have a bright future but the change in circumstances means they are offered for sale. Open to any vet inspection
