Yogi is an incredible homebred and produced five year old 148cm gelding. He qualified for the RDS Connemara Performance Hunter Class 2026 in Scarteen taking top spot from a field of 70 ponies. He jumped a beautiful clear round in the RDS over a challenging course and he soaked up the electric atmosphere with his very sensible and chilled nature.

Yogi also competed in IPS classes; placing 2nd in the Spring show over 16 Connemara Working hunter class, 4th in the over 16 Connemara ridden class. He has been produced slowly and correctly with his future in mind. He has a scopey, careful and lovely action while jumping equally matched with uphill balanced flatwork. He has already proven his talents at such a young age but he has a lot more in the tank and should make a top class eventing pony as he is a brave as a lion and has a great Connemara brain to go along with it.

Super Suzie as we call her, is just that, an absolute Super Star. If it wasn’t for Suzie I think we might have given up.

Suzie is a competition pony, however she is versatile & can be many different ponies for you. With a rider who knows what they are doing, she can feel this & she’s buzzy & ready to go. But when we’ve popped my 4 year old son on, she’s a donkey. Including taking him around the full 7 miles at Somerford, totally off lead by himself. How many ponies can you trust with a 4 year old in a sand school, let alone in open spaces? Then how many competition ponies will do this? She’s really incredible & we can’t speak more highly of her.

Suzie is a proper school master & has done a bit of everything:

Suzie was brought from Ireland for my son’s 7th birthday, she was his 2nd pony (1st pony was so spooky, he would fall off all the time, he had never cantered off lead until Suzie). He wasn’t really ready for a competition pony, yet she trained him up fast. She made him feel safe, which he had never felt when riding until this point.

Suzie has a very decorated jumping record in Ireland with a lot of wins up to 1m. We have competed her up to 85cm, single fences at home of 1.10.

Her only ‘fault’ is she is marish. She has never actually kicked another pony when in season, but she would. We’ve tried her on regumate & it works, but makes her too steady for us. By her being like this, she is extremely confident in herself, which actually makes her a parents dream & I look for this trait in all other ponies now. By her being so confident in herself. She doesn’t need other ponies around. So can be in the field by herself, in the stable, at shows, hacking etc. It also means she’s not spooky or scared of anything. Which means bathing, clipping, new fillers to jump etc. No problem for Super Suzie. My kids can do everything with her too.

She can turn out with others, but we turn her out individually & I think she prefers it. I’m always 100% honest about our ponies, as I only want them to go to the right homes. If anything I usually make any faults sound worse than they are, as atleast then it reduces the risk of selling to the wrong home.

She has never bucked, reared or napped. No vices or medical issues. No medication.

We are only selling Suzie as my son has totally out grown her. He’s only 9, but the size of a 14 year old, so we’ve had to move him onto bigger ponies. My other son has just turned 5 & has a smaller pony which the size is more suitable for him for at least another year or so. However much I’d love to keep her, I need the funds.

She is:

Poppy is a true gem of a slightly overgrown pony. She has three utterly beautiful paces. Produced slowly by us for the last year she has done a bit of everything including showing, eventing, dressage, show jumping, pony club and loves to hack out alone or in company.

I have had Marshie for 2 years and over that time he has been produced slowly and properly by a teenage girl from a just backed 4 year old to a confident, talented and easy pony with masses of potential.

He has a lovely soft mouth and goes in a beautiful natural outline, he is forward going but never strong and never says no/stops . He jumps off any stride and is a very easy ride with a mega jump on him too.

He has attended performance camps, unaffiliated evented (where he placed 3rd in a big section for his first ever event). He has been to many showjumping competitions. He is not spooky and he has a lovely forward rhythm.

He is also very easy to do on the ground. He stands to be bathed and pampered for hours. He enjoys lots of fuss and gives kisses on command. He hacks out alone and in company and stands perfectly for farrier. He travels alone and in company and loads well onto a lorry or trailer. He has never napped, bucked, reared or bolted.

He had some time off this summer whilst I was sitting my GCSEs but since then has come back into full work better than ever, only reason for sale is lack of time as I’m doing my A levels and I am also now off ponies. He hasn’t evented later this season due to the ground and this is something we haven’t done with the other horses either but he has still attended unaffiliated showjumping events.

He has the potential to be a pony trials event pony, showjumper or I can equally see him make a lovely workers pony!

Reasonable but fair price for a pony that will definitely be a future superstar. Price will increase the more he does as I will register him BS.

Last week me and maple went arena Xc schooling. And she showed just how much so has to offer. She was happy trotting over little logs or flying over some much larger fences. She remanded safe and sensible the whole time while having tonnes of fun.

To hack Maple is happy in any traffic passing lorries, cows, motorcycles and much more. She is happy to go alone or in company, in front or behind. Never silly or strong.

In the school, Maple has 3 fabulous paces and works into a lovely contact. She is a forward and responsive ride while always being ridden in a snaffle.

Around the yard, once he knows you Stan is affectionate and loves attention. He’ll happily stand for hours being groomed and fussed over. A typical Opinionated Welshy at times! He’s easy to muck out around, change rugs on, and is gentle with my two-year-old son.

Perfect to clip, vet, load, travel, stands still at shows. Been to stay away shows no bother. Can be left in or out on his own. Currently kept with my other horse but not bothered when he goes. Barefoot with great feet.

Polo has had an excellent start to life. In the winter of her 4 year old year she started her education by hacking and seeing the world. This has made her a happy and confident hacker. She was then given the rest of her 4 year old year off to mature. In March of this year she was brought back into work where she has since been schooled by a professional.

Polo has three lovely paces and is very balanced for her age. She goes forward in a lovely rhythm and is taking a good constant contact.

She is not the finished article when it comes to jumping but she is brave and willing. And she has an exciting future ahead of her.

She has been out to arena hires, Xc schooling (where she showed to be easy enough to ride with one hand) and done lots of hacking/ schooling.

Recently Polo went out to a showjumping arena hire. She jumped everything first time, including two different waters trays, many different fillers and many types of jumps.

She is the nicest person you could wish to meet, forward going but never flustered or stressed.

She loves to work and learns something every time she is ridden. So super rewarding.

Excellent to travel. Easy on the ground and good with the farrier. Polo will become a yard favourite where ever

She goes and can be handled by anyone.

Up to date with the injections, farrier, and dentist.
