A very sweet young mare with a nice start and the breeding and temperament to develop into a fab small allrounder, Oti is confident and kind. A compact type with a willing attitude, backed and straightforward to do, she’s not been rushed and has not been jumped, a genuine blank canvas ready for someone to produce and put their own stamp on her.

Owned since she was 1 (direct from her breeder at Tremayne Irish Draughts in Cornwall), she’s a fabulous and much-loved little mare and she wouldn’t be going anywhere if she’d grown a hand bigger – sadly she’s just not grown big enough for me.

She has recently been professionally backed proving very straightforward to do, and is currently riding away sensibly at her backing yard in Cornwall.

Oti is already a pleasure to have out and about:
- She’s done plenty of groundwork including lots of long lining. Easy on the ground, on the yard, in the stable.
- Professionally backed and riding away very sensibly for her age – she’s brave, willing, unspooky and not phased by things, should make a proper ‘have a go at anything’ sort.
- Hacking out and genuinely enjoys it – is the same whether she goes first or last and has been out alone around the farm with no problems.
- Confident being in the indoor school but still extremely green.
- Good in all traffic seen so far, including tractors.

She is:
- Level-headed, biddable, and should prove easy to produce.
- A friendly people person, generally wants to be with you and involved in whatever you’re doing.
- Good with other horses, easy with any routine or management.
- Great with the farrier, has always been barefoot and regularly trimmed, up to date with this.
- Great with the vet, up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming. Wolf teeth removed a couple of years ago.
- Fine in her stable and with being left whilst others go out.
- Easy to catch: has always come to call, follows you around the field.
- Confident with new experiences & takes things in her stride.
- Kind with children, good with dogs (has been used to lots of dogs since I’ve had her).
- Not phased by machinery and tractors (we had lots of work done on the yard whilst she was a baby and she was super interested in watching it all).

She’s realistically priced due to her relative lack of experience to date:
- She’s backed & riding away very sensibly but hasn’t been out to shows / seen much of the world yet.
- I’ve never clipped her or bathed her, I don’t think she’d have a problem with either (she’s had the back of clippers all over her whilst on with no issues) but she’s never done it.
- She’s an inexperienced traveller because I’ve never had transport.
- She’s got a very tiny cold splint that has never caused any issues, from hooning around being a youngster on lots of land in the spring last year.

A gorgeous correct pony, he has a fantastic character, uphill paces and loves to show off. He has 4 whites and beautiful face markings. His mother Mousti van Overis Z spent her younger years competing nationally, before becoming a highly successful full-time broodmare. Her 6yo son Pitchwood Caesars Palace is a licensed stallion with the Sports Pony Studbook Society (SPSS) and is currently competing successful at Pony Foxhunter level. Last years foal was Top SPSS graded colt of 2022 after receiving a high gold at Futurity with elite conformation marks from the vet. But the provenance from this exceptional mother does not end there. Mousti van Overis is a half sister of Vincent Byrne's great 1.60m horse Hannibal van Overis. Mousti is by the Elite stallion Machno Carwyn who is known all over the world as one of the best showjumping pony stallions.

Sire Sianco has proven progeny on the ground all of them inherit his fantastic temperament and lovely pony attributes. His first sports pony foal graded Gold last year with BEF Futurity. Sianco himself has been successful in ridden showing, inhand showing, WH, SJ, dressage, he has fantastic scope and is the most wonderful natured stallion. His progeny are children's ponies and are competing successfully in all disciplines.

Rowan was kept entire and backed last summer and ridden away , he went to some pole clincs and hacks alone and in company. We made the decision to geld him in November 2025 as we decided he would have more options and a better life. Rowan has had a couple of months off following his operation and is now coming back into work. he is currently doing some natural horsemanship work as well as been long reining round the village and country roads. He also lunges well and travels well in a lorry. he has just re started his ridden work and is lightly schooling at home and hacking round the lanes.
