Poppy has it ALL!!! The looks, the breeding, the temperament, the talent!! Absolutely stunning full up 14.2, 5yo bay mare with exceptional breeding. Poppy is a classy ISH by the very successful Imperial Heights (Master Imp).

We honestly think a lot of this little mare, showing exceptional technique and scope over a fence. She’s brave, bold and very careful. Poppy loves her jumping and would make an ambitious child’s dreams come true. In the right hands she will be a top class BS pony. She pops round 1-110cm at home like it’s nothing.

While Poppy has been with us she has competed in UA SJing, been to several arena hires, XC schooling, PC rallies, clinics, and lots of hacking. She’s regularly ridden by a 12yo girl.

Even though Poppy has loads of talent she is also very easy and would equally make a lovely Allrounder, PC pony or a best friend for anyone. She would be suitable for a child or a small adult.

At home Poppy is a pleasure to have around, she’s completely vice free, hacks alone and in company, 100% to shoes, box, clip and catch. Never gets hot, spooky or silly. Always in a snaffle.

Excellent viewing facilities in Worcester.

EYE CATCHING DRESSAGE/WORKING HUNTER PROSPECT

Ref #: 378017

£8,000

  • 6 years
  • 14.3 hands
  • Achieved 1st in M&M In-Hand, Reserve Champion and went into the supreme championship at Dorset County Show main arena
  • Well established in the school, with beautiful paces

Jack is a 14’3 Welsh D 6 year old with the ‘look at me’ factor (seriously, this boy could feature in a ‘neigh’belline advert). If you don’t like being the centre of attention, Jack is not for you, as he literally gets compliments for his looks every where he goes, even out hacking.

We brought Jack 4 months ago, however Jack was misrepresented in his advertisement as a horse ready to go out and compete at 80cm. What arrived at the yard in April was a horse scared of his own shadow, unconfident, and in need of a lot of work. We have spent the past 4 months showing Jack the world, taking him out and about to flatwork and jumping clinics, introducing him to the world of competitions, and generally just settling him into normal, day to day life. When Jack arrived he was bolshy, and had no boundaries. Jack will now stand with his stable door wide open, and is much more patient in every aspect, but we do want to be completely honest about how far he has come in the past 4 months, as he is still very much learning.

Jack is a fantastic stamp of a horse. He is well established in the school, with beautiful paces. Jack was broken late, as a 5 year old, and so his canter still requires some strength work, though as you can see from the videos it is a strong eye catching gait. Jack has competed in numerous intro dressage competitions, most recently coming second, even with his jockey learning the wrong test initially (seriously, sack me). Jack has never placed below 2nd place in any of his dressage competitions, he will be a serious one to watch for the future in the right home, and regularly scores 70%+. We were told by the previous owner that Jack has competed in one Prelim, and came 2nd in a busy class.

Jack’s previous owner also stated that he achieved 1st in M&M In-Hand, Reserve Champion and went into the supreme championship at Dorset County Show main arena.

Jack is very new to jumping – but it is certainly something he enjoys. He is the type to pull you towards a fence with his ears pricked, though isn’t quite educated enough yet to always pull the perfect stride. Jack is generally quite bold, however (typical Welsh D) will get upset about something should he believe it is terrifying. He has schooled over all sorts of fillers first time with no issues, but can be prone to a spook every now and again. Height is not an issue for Jack.

Jack has been to group and solo lessons. He is not fazed by standing around and waiting, or by other horses around him.

Jack hacks out alone and in company, however when Jack came to us he was very unconfident alone, and would nap. We have put a lot of work into this, and as you can see in the videos below, Jack is now happy to hack alone, though this may take a settling period. Jack is perfect around all traffic, and frequently sees farm machinery, cars, lorries etc.

When Jack came to us, he had been mainly living out in a herd. Currently, he is on a private yard, stabled at night, and out in the day. It did take him a while to settle into being in a stable, however he is now extremely relaxed, loves a treat over the stable door, and will stand munching his hay happily whilst you take his friends out and about. Handling around the yard he is a dream, and more of a donkey then a Welsh D. His stable manners are impeccable, and he keeps a lovely clean stable.

Jack will stand for hours to be brushed and bathed and fussed with. He is great with the farrier (he is only shod on his fronts as has great feet).

At competitions, Jack can be wired. He is not the sort to stand by the box for hours while you get dressed, he does need to get straight on with his job. Jack can be bolshy out and about, and needs a firm hand to tell him no.

When Jack came to us, he would rush off a trailer, and could take a few minutes to load. We have put extensive work into this, and as you can see in the video, he now loads first time, and takes his time coming off the box. Again, this may be something to be aware of initially.

Jack is a pony with a seriously loveable personality, but he can take a moment to really trust his new mum/dad. He requires an experienced home, one which is able to continue putting more work into him, and equally able to tell him no when needed. He will be a seriously fun little horse in the future.

Located North Shropshire. Little Kroongraaf (Kruz) is an extremely handsome black pony Bred by a horse sire and pony dam. He is gorgeous to look at and moves beautifully, equally at home in the dressage arena or Showjumping ring. He is for sale because my daughter is off ponies now so we have 2 ponies for sale. He is one of the best ponies we have known and we wish we had met him sooner.

He is a straightforward, easy, happy pony, quick to learn and eager to please. Careful, brave & Kind.

He works in a balanced rhythm with a nice outline and my daughter is enjoying pony club dressage on him. He is mostly established in his flying changes.

He has a fabulous jumping ability and he is careful and eager to please. His mother was a 128cm pony who won 1m classes and his father is the famous Kroongraaf, by Burgraaf, so he has lots of potential. He is brave and genuine, and happily jumps fillers and water trays, he never says no and is confident but not strong. Clear BS 80 and 90cm and Jumping 1m tracks unaffiliated with lots of scope for more.

Kruz enjoys Xc and is very bold over everything. He recently won the 90cm arena Eventing, on grass at Kelsall hill EC.

We have tried to get him out and about to lots of variety. Pony club rallies, beach rides, farms rides, XC training and competitions. Snaffle mouthed for everything. Very safe in open spaces. He hacks regularly alone and in company.

Not a novice ride, not because he is naughty, but because he is only 5 years old and needs an experienced home to continue his education. This pony has a successful future ahead of him, as either a competition pony , or as a lovely pony club pony. Kruz will be a dream for someone.

Lovely pony to handle, travels lorry or trailer.

Brynithon Serenity (Nessa)

5yo, Bay, 14.2/3hh Welsh Cob Mare

Really well bred little welsh mare who is going to make a cracking young horse for someone ?? schooling sweetly on the flat in all three paces, popping round a course of fences and out hacking. Also been xc schooling round ours.

She shows a great natural technique over a fence, is bold and game ??

She was super popping round double clear at her first comp at the arena event at Bogenraith the weekend past. Shows a great attitude and trainable personality.

No novices please. She is still a young mare and therefore not suitable as a child’s second pony. I feel she needs brought on by an adult or game teenager for a year before she is ready for that as she is a forward going mare and still needs mileage ??

Good to handle and do, farrier etc.

Asking mid to high fours

Based NE Scotland

It is with a heavy heart I am advertising this boy. He has been with me for a relatively short period of time, but unfortunately I am losing the land on which I keep my ponies due to house sale.

This gelding is a 4 year old 14.2 grey, fully registered connemara who has been tested as N/HWSD (a carrier but not affected by HWSD, not an issue being a gelding and not going to be used for breeding). I purchased him as a project for myself and had no intent of selling on but due to a house sale, I am having to explore the option of selling him. He was apparently backed in Ireland and I imported him ready to ride on.

My plan was to hack him for the next few months and do a variety of fun things with him. However, he is very wary and has obviously had a hard and cruel start in life. I have earned his trust and am progressing daily with him but his next owner will have to understand that this is a long term game.

I have no doubt that his progress will snowball and in time with correct and kind handling along with being shown some love and care, he will be a different pony. For this reason, I would be assume that his backing was rushed and would need restarting, the correct way.

He is incredibly clever and moves beautifully. His confirmation is super and has so much potential. He has loose jumped in the field 1m with ease. This one will go far! Home far more important than price.

Viewings encouraged, please do call for more information. No emails or texts thank you.

Done beach rides

Great to hack alone and in company, very safe and sensible in wide open spaces. Seen all Farm Traffic

Snaffle mouthed, works well in a contact. Balanced in her paces and starting to produce a nice outline.

Well behaved for farrier, dentist and physio, up to date with everything.

Great to load and happy to travel alone or with company.

Good to catch and clip. Happy to be turned out alone or with others.

A very sweet and talented little pony who needs a confident little jockey, and an experienced home to help her continue her education and bring out her full potential. Would make a fantastic little eventer. Fit and ready to be someone’s best friend at camp.
