Flatwork - Penny is forward going and responsive off the leg without being silly. She has lovely paces and has been introduced to walk to canter, changes over a pole, leg yielding etc. She wouldn’t be for a kid that prefers something they can kick.

Jumping - She absolutely loves her jumping, she is forward going to a fence and quite happy to take any missed stride without holding it against you. Happily pops over any filler I’ve put in front of her. Ready to start competing at 80cm+ with a smaller jockey. She has also arena evented and XC schooled proving straightforward.

Hacking - Prior to coming to me a year ago, Penny had spent her life as a happy hacker so she is experienced with traffic, cyclists, open spaces and woodland. She doesn’t get silly or strong.

On the ground Penny is everything you could ever want from a pony. She’s easy to catch, load, trim, clip etc. Absolutely loves attention and will stand all day to be brushed. She is barefoot and boasts exceptional feet, as well as being a great doer. She flew through a 5* vetting with flying colours when I bought her last year (report available).

For the last 6 months Penny has been part loaned by a confident 14yr old as a transition from the riding school. Together they’ve done arena hires, hacking and competitions.

Sunny is a truly special pony. She has unbelievable temperament and ability. She is scopey, careful and brave with amazing rideability. A lovely balanced canter and good, adjustable stride. Forward but never sharp, she covers the ground well. Nothing fazes her and she loves her job. Amazingly consistent, polite and confidence giving.

We are only selling as my daughter is off ponies this year and Sunny would be wasted if not given the opportunity to help another child to progress on their BSJA journey.

She is a fantastic Novice, Discovery, Newcomer/1m Restricted Rider and Bronze league prospect for 25/26. We have purposely kept her points low so is still in points to qualify all of these classes and jump Second Rounds/Finals. She has never been over jumped.

Sunny has lovely flatwork, auto changes, basic lateral work. She has a good brain, clean footwork and good technique over a fence. She will try her heart out for her rider. Rosie is a 6 year-old, 142cm dark brown part bred mare, progeny from the champion producing Milford showing stud in Yorkshire.

A forward thinking pony, she’s completely beautiful, with three rhythmic paces and a bold jump and she could thrive in any number of disciplines. She’s got the looks and pedigree for showing; the speed for show jumping; the courage for eventing; three excellent paces for dressage.
