Cooper – Experienced 16-Year-Old Schoolmaster Gelding

Cooper is a 16-year-old, 14.2hh bay gelding and a true been-there-done-that schoolmaster. He is the ideal pony for someone wanting to confidently step into 80cm, 90cm and 1m classes, or for a rider who wants a genuine, experienced partner to learn and progress with.

Cooper’s heart truly lies in eventing, but he is just as happy and capable in the showjumping ring. He is trustworthy, reliable, honest, straightforward, and incredibly confidence-giving, making him the perfect second pony. Despite his experience, he has plenty of years left in him and still thoroughly enjoys his work.

He is a smart, kind, and easy-going pony with a huge amount of mileage. Cooper has done lots of Pony Club, hunter trials, one-day events, and has also hunted. He has seen it all, knows his job, and makes everything feel easy for his rider.

We had hoped to affiliate her with British Showjumping, but living on the Isle of Man makes travelling to mainland competitions very difficult.

Meet Junior – a fun-loving, talented jumping pony who always gives that little bit extra! 

With beautiful, correct paces and a lovely way of going, he would shine in dressage, eventing, working hunter, or pure showjumping.
Previously XC schooled in his last home. 

Junior is responsive to the leg and will happily adapt to his rider. He’ll trot around a course of cross poles for a small jockey ??, but over bigger fences he needs a confident, gutsy rider as he can get buzzy—he knows his job and loves it!

We’ve competed him at unaffiliated shows throughout our two years owning him.
He has jumped 70cm courses and trained up to 80cm at home.
Junior has a scopey, clever, nimble jump and would be very competitive against the clock 
He loves hacking and is good in traffic ??, both alone and in company 

On the Ground

Junior is an angel to load and travel.
He’ll happily stand on the lorry at shows without a fuss, and will even load himself if he thinks he’s being left behind! 

My petite 10-year-old daughter can catch him, lead him, groom, tack up and bath him all on her own 

Previously jumped successfully in Ireland up to 90cm and started a small boy in jumping over here when he first came over here.

Currently being ridden by Kiki — he’s proving to be full of hot air only however has had a spooky moment when a child less capable has ridden him. ????
