Sammy is a very special pony to us. He came to us starting as a lead rein as a step up from our now retired child's starting pony. He took my daughter off of lead rein and has truly been the love of her life!

Showing is something I have a passion for and he has had numerous wins and sashes, is consistently in the top pull-ins and has taken numerous show championships firstly as M&M and more recent as SHP. He truly knows his job and absolutely shines in the show ring.

He has been a fantastic lead-rein pony, excelling in that role. He has also turned his hoof to Pony Club on and off the lead rein during the years we have had him, and at just 12 years old, there is absolutely no reason his showing career needs to be his primary job going forward he just needs his next child to love.

Sammy is an athletic, sporty and switched-on little pony. On lead rein he is by your side, listenening to his handler, for a small person FR with little legs not reaching the end of saddle flaps he will let them pootle about, as they grew to a confident & stronger FR he will Go up the gears and will teach them when they get it right. Bert needs a confident rider, he is a stallion and not for novices, jumped up to 1.20 at training, not over jumped, has a varied training program including lots of pole work, started shoulder in, leg yielding, bit of half pass in walk, schools well on the flat, Canter just needs to be stronger but its coming on well, working on straightness and collection.

He has never bucked reared or bolted, fine out hacking, super in water and loves doing a bit of everything

Good to catch (always 1st in)

Lives in during winter and out 24/7 in the summer next to 3 other stallions happily

Can be gelded and would make a super horse for a competitive Junior rider

Wont be sold just for flats, enjoys a varied life, and loves his jumping

2025 results

Equifest- 2nd Home Produced Workers out of 20 odd

TEAHS summer show- 2nd in the M&M flats and got himself into a evening performance where he behaved amazingly.

3rd in his 1st Hunter Trail 2026 clear

Unfortunately just not found the time to get him out this year as of yet but some shows plans for Autumn
