Firefly is a true all-rounder with a big personality.

She has taken part in lots of activities from Mounted Games to Polo, Pony Club Rallies and Camps, Beach Rides, NSEA and Show Jumping comfortably at 70/80cm and most recently competed at a good level in 128cm Pony Racing, both at Pony Club & Point to Point meetings.

Firefly is a second ridden pony and would suit a confident rider as she can be strong and forward going. She loves to hack and is safe in open spaces, would be ideal for a jockey looking to start taking part in Pony Racing or a super whizzy BS 128cm starter pony or for anyone who wants an all-rounder to have fun with and try different activities.

She is good on the ground, loads and travels well, can live in or out, not fazed by farm machinery, cars, dogs etc.

Vaccinations and worming are up to date, feet recently trimmed, dentist also up to date.

We are very sad to be selling Firefly as she is a much loved, fun pony who has helped my daughter gain so much confidence in her riding and trying new things but sadly is outgrowing her too fast.

Very reluctant sale, having owned for 5 years, taking daughter from 5 -10 years old and lead rein to confidently popping around 30-60cm jumping and area mounted games.

Coco is a sweet mare with a soft mouth, pops fences in a nice controlled manner and particularly enjoys hacking, happily going first or last.

She can be a bit stubborn when schooling in the arena at home, and would not enjoy this being her main job, but tolerates it with gentle handling to get the best from her and is happier if jumps are involved or out and about at pony club rallies.

She’s not always a complete angel (as she’s a pony and does have her own opinions!) but has been amazing for my daughter.

Has not had laminitis but we manage her as if she might due to her type and enthusiasm for food so would be best with restricted grazing to avoid health issues.

Good to handle, catch, groom, load, clip. Lightly sedated for shoeing (fronts only) as hadn’t been shod before coming to us and this made her more comfortable over flinty paths but could return to barefoot and is good to trim.

Absolute mega games pony, he’s been on both junior and senior games teams, he will go in any order, receive handovers well, great with all equipment, will stand to be mounted or running vault, will also carry the big flag, countless winnings.

Fantastic jump, SJ winnings up to 80cm & loves XC, great to hack, he likes to lead but will go behind too, great in open spaces

Little Elrond has been in our family for 3 years. We have predominantly trained him up for Mounted Games, where he has done an excellent job overall. However, he enjoys a variety of disciplines and would also do well in horse ball or potentially endurance. He is forward and nippy but never strong.

Elrond has also been to flatwork lessons, arena hires, fun rides, gallops, beach rides and general road hacking. He is not silly or strong, always level headed and soft to ride which would make him an excellent PC pony or even mother/daughter share. A real fun horse with a lovely attitude to life!

No disease or lameness history, up-to-date with dentist/vaccinations/physio/saddle and farrier.

Currently wearing a full set of shoes but would also go barefoot. Open to vettings of any stage.
