WANTED 13.2HH - 14.3HH Confidence giving, happy hacker to be my best friend. Something quiet and easy, no bucking, rearing or bolting and not strong. Hack alone or in company. Good to handle on the ground, vet, dentist, farrier etc. I have ridden all my life but no longer wish to find myself on the floor or galloping off into the distance as I am an older lady who no longer bounces! I just want to be able to amble out at my chosen pace and enjoy the countryside.

I want something that is 110% in traffic including lorries and large farm machinery and is calm safe in open spaces even when in a group. Also needs to be fine not being ridden every day.

We can offer an experienced home for life with our other family ponies. East Anglia area.

Jimmy is a 14.1h 8 year old registered New Forest pony who is the perfect all rounder. He is a forward going type with good conformation and performance.

Jimmy has been with us for the last 3 years and has sadly been out grown. Since being with us he’s done a bit of everything; hunting, pony club, show jumping, showing, pony racing ect.

Here’s just a few thing he had excelled at.
- Show jumping 80/90 a careful jumper always in the ribbons.
- Working hunter competing around 80 affiliated and unaffiliated with countless wins and won multiple cups!
- Won the New Forest p2p on Boxing Day.
- Produces a lovely dressage test competing prelim (currently schooling novice level with 3 established gaits)
- Pony racing including being placed 2nd in the open 148cm at Wincanton and placing at Ascot & other P2P’s
- He’s also done some low level eventing qualifying for the Cotswolds cup champs.
- Loves going xc, competed in many local hunter trials and schooled around courses countless times.
- Hunted with the Wessex bloodhounds jumping anything you put him at and also hunted with the New Forest hounds and absolutely loves it.

He’s excellent hacking and doesn’t bat an eyelid at pigs/donkeys/cows/ponies/sheep. And good in traffic and agricultural machinery. He’s like a duck to water! Happy to hack alone or in company and loves a fun ride! Leads other horses from him. He’s been to big stay away shows and behaved impeccably!

Jimmy has schooled up to 110 at home so has the scope to burn! Would make a fabulous 143cm workers pony as has top conformation and performance. Would suit a competent child who likes going fast and will offer a variety in his life.
No novices as he is a forward going pony who loves his job.

No disease or lameness history. Up to date with everything: vaccinations, teeth, physio, worming. Open to vetting

Sadly looking for a new home due to a change in circumstances.

I brought Cleo just over a year ago and have backed her myself.

She’s been to multiple dressage competitions and has competed up to Prelim BD on a ticket with myself.
An absolute XC machine who will jump anything in front of her with the scope to go much higher.
Pops a course of 70 in the school with ease and has 3 lovely paces. She does struggle with trot to canter transitions sometimes but is getting better each time. Leg yeilds in walk, trot and canter. Has started some counter canter work as well.

Loads and travels like a dream, easy to deal with at competitions (I take her out regularly by myself), hacks out alone and in company (in front or behind), excellent in traffic, good to clip and for farrier/vet/physio.

Has been ridden by a novice 9 year old and behaves impeccably. Very steady hack and never silly or strong in open fields or behind others. Has been on fun rides, beach rides, to the gallops and was an angel the whole time. A really lovely pony and not mareish at all, absolutely loves a fuss!

Would suit an older confident child or small teen/adult as can be strong occasionally in the school.

Ernie is a striking 13.2hh registered New Forest gelding with a fantastic temperament and a bright future ahead of him.

He truly shines in his jumping – bold and careful, with a lovely technique over fences. He schools beautifully on the flat, working nicely in walk, trot, and canter, and is responsive to the leg without being sharp.

Ernie would thrive in a competitive or Pony Club home where his talents can be fully nurtured. He’s previously hunted and has recently attended arena hires, showing his full potential.

• He has just passed a vetting, but the buyers have pulled out due to no fault of his own.

Unfortunately Rocky is too small for myself and the time has come for him to find his new home. He is an absolute superstar pony with so much talent and could go very far!

He was only properly backed this year and has been produced by an 11yo girl and is easy to ride. He has been to BD rider assessments and went to his first stay away 3 day show at the ICC’s and did very very well scoring 86%.

He has also been doing a lot of jumping at the moment and is ready to do a lot more of it. He has jumped showjumps in the arena and also logs on the forest. He will make the perfect pony club/all-rounder pony for someone.

Buckland Finlay

Finn is a super loving well mannered laid back chap.

He loves a fuss and will happily stand all day on the yard being groomed.

Finn hacks out alone or with company, good in traffic, open fields and bridleways.

Over the past 4 years we have taken Finn to lots of fun rides, camps and clinics.

Finn has a lovely jump but lacks confidence in this area, for this reason he would not be suitable as a competition pony.

Finn will suit a family home / mother daughter share / hacking / low level riding home.

He is great with the farrier, dentist and being clipped.

Good turned out in field with others or individually as long as he can see others.

Doesn’t need riding everyday.

Happy to live in or out.

Very smart looking New Forest gelding looking for his new home, same home since he was 6 months old.

Mars has been professionally backed over the past few weeks and is happily hacking out in company. He has seen lots of traffic, cantered out in open spaces and is showing a great attitude to work. We would happily put confident children on him already.

Teddy is a well loved character on the yard. He needs a firm hand to get the best out of him. He would suit a small adult.

He is good to load, shoe, hack, dentist, physio etc.

He is a bit spicy so needs a confidence rider. He can throw a couple shapes when he’s fresh but is never trying to hurt you and will look after you.

Very honest and will take any stride. We have owned him for 3 years and is riden by a 14 year old who has taken him xc and sj since she was 11.Sad sale due to out growing.

Has had ulcers due to saddle issues, now has a new saddle and has rescoped clear.

Jumping machine sadly for sale as he's just proved too strong for my 12 yr old daughter, on the ground and ridden.

He's taught her to jump over 1 metre at home but she wants to start going out more to competitions now and he's just too much of a handful.

I must stress he is not a child's pony and is very strong and bolshy hence why he would suit a small strong adult to go have fun on.

He has bare feet and his feet are really good and strong, up to date with teeth and vacs, he's good to clip but loading he can sometimes have other ideas but once he's on he's fine.

He literally lives on fresh air so cheap to keep.

He will be turned out on his own but likes company.

Needs a very experienced home that can bring out his potential.

I had a 5 stage vetting done on him when I bought him in October 2024 which he passed.

He had previously had a small sarcoid laser removed from sheath but all fine now.
