It is with the heaviest of hearts that we offer our much-loved boy for sale.
He is an 8-year-old, 14.2hh dark bay TB x New Forest gelding who we bought directly from his breeder two years ago as a late-backed, green 6-year-old. He had only been backed and lightly hacked, and our aim was to give him time, experience and education.
He has absolutely blossomed and has become a lovely, genuine and very enjoyable pony with a fantastic amount of experience behind him.

Although dressage is his strongest discipline, he is a genuine all-round Riding Club / Pony Club type who enjoys getting out, competing and having a job to do.
He would be a lovely prospect for someone wanting to join a Riding Club or Pony Club, have some fun competing and continue developing a partnership together.
🐴 UNDER SADDLE
He is snaffle-mouthed for all disciplines and is never strong or fizzy.
He enjoys his schooling and has established a lovely level of education for his age and experience. He can work through movements including counter-canter, leg yielding and shoulder-in and has plenty more to learn with the right rider.
He is not a sharp or whizzy pony and can be a little laid-back, so he benefits from a confident, capable rider who rides forwards. In the right hands he is incredibly rewarding and really does give his rider everything.
He is the type of pony who enjoys having a partnership with his rider and will continue to develop as his confidence and experience grow.
🏇 SHOW JUMPING
He is an honest, careful jumper who always tries his best.
He is happily jumping around 70/80cm and has jumped 90–100cm individual fences.
He isn’t the fastest pony in the ring, but he is genuine and gives his rider a lovely, reliable round.
🌿 CROSS COUNTRY
XC has not been as much of a focus as his dressage and show jumping, particularly over the last two summers due to hard ground.
He has attended XC and is happy to have a go, although we feel his real strengths are dressage and show jumping.
For someone wanting a pony to enjoy Pony Club rallies, camps, Riding Club activities, fun rides and occasional XC, he would make a lovely partner with more experience in this area.
❤️ HACKING
One of his lovely qualities is how enjoyable he is to hack.
He is happy alone or in company and will happily go first or last. He loves getting out and exploring and isn’t reliant on another horse to give him confidence.
He would be equally happy having a competitive home or simply spending his days hacking, schooling and enjoying life with his person.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
He can occasionally be a little nibbly when anxious or unsure, particularly when fastening chest straps. This has improved hugely over the last two years, but because of this we would not recommend him for a young child or inexperienced handler.
He is also laid-back and needs a confident rider who will ride positively and forwards. He is not naughty or sharp atall the opposite , but he does need a rider who will encourage him and get the best out of him.
For the right rider, he is an absolute pleasure.
💕 THE RIGHT HOME IS EVERYTHING
This boy means the absolute world to us, and finding him the right home is far more important than a quick sale.
We are looking for an experienced teenager or small adult with a knowledgeable family/support network who wants to build a genuine partnership with him.
He would be perfectly suited to someone wanting a Riding Club / Pony Club pony to enjoy hacking, rallies, camps, competitions and everything in between.
He has already achieved so much with my daughter, and we would love to see him continue having fun and making memories with his next person.
We don’t want him passed from home to home. We want someone who will love him, appreciate him and give him the same security and care that he has had with us.
