Gatsby is a very true to type Fell pony, 141cm LHC, he has all the qualities you would want with movement to match. He has been shown at the highest level gaining 4th at HOYS in 2025.

Although he is everything you would want in a Fell pony to show under saddle he does not enjoy this job full time. We are looking for him to find his forever home who will give him the varied life that he loves. He needs a competent teenager or small adult, he is very safe to ride but like most fell ponies does have his opinion on life at times so wouldn’t suit a novice home.

Gatsby lights up in the school when you put a jump up, he seems to love jumping but as a flat showing team this isn’t something we have Perused.

In the stable you couldn’t ask for a nicer pony, he will stand for hours being groomed and fussed he stands for the farrier, physio and dentist with no bother.

He loads/travels/stands on the box happily eating for as long as needed.

We are looking ideally for a home that will give him a varied life, full time showing at the top level is simply not his thing. As a pony that will do almost anything with a smile on his face he is worth his weight in gold.

Del needs little introduction to the working hunter community having won both RIHS and HOYS as a 133cm M+M WHP.



He has untapped potential in the plaited and nursery stakes ranks too as we have never had a young enough rider to compete him in these classes so he’s therefore still a novice plaited pony, which would be perfect for somebody who wanted to get to know him before tackling the open tracks.



Only available due to his owner having a baby - she had retained him to compete him herself following his HOYS win last year as he is totally safe and she knew she would trust him 100% following childbirth but unfortunately her home circumstances have now changed and she no longer has the time for him.



I would love to retain the ride on him however I know this is not always possible. I also have no commitments to another 133cm M+M WHP in the remainder of the HOYS qualifiers so I would be happy to try to qualify him on behalf of a new owner too.



Totally easy in every way, no quirks or vices whatsoever.



He is forward thinking, loves to jump and would prefer a game rider who’ll let him take care of business. He’s not strong, you don’t have to see strides and you can literally steer him round courses of fences and have the best fun whilst doing it but because of the way he likes to go, he wouldn’t suit a totally nervous child who might prefer a ‘kick-along’.
