What a beautiful example of a Connemara our Troy is.

By the well-known stallion Kilberan Mike, Troy embodies so many of the best qualities you would want in a Connemara. He is a perfect example of Kilberan Mike progeny, known for passing on a kind, sensible, gentlemanlike temperament. His offspring are often described as trainable, easy-doing, friendly, intelligent, and possessing that real “wow factor”, making them excellent versatile prospects.

Troy is exactly that. He has such a gentle soul and an old head on young shoulders. He is very well handled and easy to do in every way: leading in and out of the field, grooming, having his feet trimmed, and loading. He has a beautiful, trusting temperament which, nurtured in the right way, will make him an excellent horse for someone, especially anyone looking for their next best friend.

His breeding speaks for itself, with Class 1 throughout his pedigree. He has plenty of bone, a good “leg in each corner”, and with his attitude and class, I don’t think there is much he couldn’t turn his hoof to. Also has a recent two stage vetting certificate.

We have started to be professionally lightly back Troy so his price will increase once this has been completed. What we mean by this is that he will be ridden away hacking then turned away again. This would mean for the lucky owner he will have the basic knowledge for them to progress in the future.

I see him more as a junior / 14hh worker / all round performance pony. I am wanting a bigger pony, purely for the flat riddens.

He is absolutely stunning and very flashy , with the most wonderful true pony features. His temperament is kind and bold, and I have been able to do everything with him completely on my own since he arrived from Ireland 14 months ago, including bathing him, clipping his head, loading and travelling him too.

He does have a splint which happened last year hammering about on the rock hard ground when I moved the ponies to a new property. Always been sound and it has flattened, so it may well reabsorb completely with him being so young.

He will make someone the most fantastic all round pony to bring on- he is such a lovely pony to be around. Very sad to let him go; I am in no rush and will only let him go to the very best of homes.

Fit and ready for the upcoming show season, Athena was recently shown in a strong class of 3-year-old fillies at the Lampeter Stallion Show.

A very easy filly to handle, she takes everything in her stride and has done all that’s been asked of her without fuss. She loads, washes, is excellent with the farrier, and is currently shod. She stands quietly for trimming of her jaw and ears, is laid back in the stable, yet has plenty of presence, movement, and flash in the show ring.

Currently on show livery with Corscaron Welsh Cobs who arehappy for her to stay to be covered with any of their stallions if required.

Apollo is an eye chatching rising 3 year old Connemara x. Currently standing at 15hh. A hard type to find

He came over from Ireland last summer as a 2 year old and has been turned away in a herd since.

When Apollo arrive to me a few weeks ago I was unsure if he was as big as I was told so I measured him and turns out his is 15hh. I traced his breeders and found out it’s likely he will make 15.2hh. Not 16hh from what I was told from the seller I got him from. Therefore this is my reason for selling him.

Apollo is very kind natured and has taken everything in his stride so far. He is good to tie up and groom. Does need some positive encouragement to have his hooves picked out as hasn’t had much handling till I got him.

He will excel doing some inhand showing over summer. I have recently started ground work with him and he has worn a roller which didn’t bother him in the slightest. He has fantastic paces and will make a great little all rounder. Gutting he just isn’t big enough for me as he has proven to be exactly what I want in every other way.

She has also spent limited time on her own and isn’t phased about “leaving” her friends. Happy living out or in.
