Must be safe enough for mother/daughter share, good in traffic/to handle/calm and sensible and enjoy a varied life.
Must have good feet, preferably barefoot but shod is fine.
Must be nice natured and genuine.
Genuine to jump

Looking for a full up 14.2hh PC/WHP/allrounder for my 13 year old daughter .

Ideal pony would be a safe and genuine pony with the quality to hold its own in a workers class (not top level showing).

Needs to be politely responsive without being sharp or too forward. We are looking for a pony to enjoy PC activities, SJ, dressage, showing and plenty of hacking.

We can offer a kind and experienced long term home (younger siblings) with our other ponies where pony would have a varied life and receive lots of love and attention from my three pony mad daughters.

We are looking for a special pony and have a realistic budget to reflect this.

I'm looking for a horse to join our family as my teenage daughter's second ride. She already has a fancy showjumper with all the bloodlines but with that comes a tricky ride and it's not always fun. We're looking for a confidence-restoring second ride to bring that fun back and in return, the horse will enjoy a kind, quiet and balanced rider, be loved endlessly, have a varied and exciting life, wanting for nothing. Stabled on a professional event yard but living a varied PC / BS / NSEA / camps / fun rides lifestyle and genuinely be part of the family for life - we've never sold a horse, they're all still with us.

MUST BE MID FOUR FIGURES and ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

Any age or sex, happy with golden oldies who love their job and aren't ready to hang up their boots
Must hack alone and be safe in open spaces
Must love to jump - strictly no stoppers as we have had our fair share of those
Bold & brave - nothing looky - must lock on and jump everything, SJ & XC
Forgiving of a miss in the arena when the nerves kick in
Careful and fast against the clock - don't mind strong so long as they come back to you eventually and aren't unsafe
Dressage a bonus but bottom of the list
Nothing that will spin / buck / rear dangerously
Loads and travels well in a 3.5t
Not worried about quirks / vices so long as disclosed
Any vet history / injections please just disclose so we don't have to discover things the hard way down the line and can ensure the horse is always comfortable
Ideally South West but will travel for the right horse

We have a tall 13yo, she is a quiet, natural jockey whose main interest is dressage, she enjoys jumping but isn’t super competitive. Having outgrown her fabulous 13.3/14hh Welsh x Cob who turns her hoof to a bit of everything, we are looking for a similar type with longer legs! Think overgrown pony rather than a horse, temperament, consistency and kindness are paramount. Must be well schooled with good transitions but we don’t need big/expressive movement. We’d like something that is happy jumping 70/80 tracks, has done plenty of rallies, been to camp, hacks nicely etc. Must be easy and straightforward on the ground, to travel etc.

We really aren’t stuck on a Connie and would happily consider a sensible Section D, LW cob or Irish type. We are offering a fabulous family home, the stables are next to the house and the children are very involved in the day to day care of their ponies. Life will be varied, they really will want for nothing. We recognise we are looking for a needle in a haystack and have the budget to reflect that. West Midlands based but can travel within reason. We will ask for references and veterinary history, we are pragmatic and sensible but want to make a decision based on all the facts!

Due to the loss of my wonderful Connemara in January I’m searching for my new best friend.

I primarily hack but would like the opportunity to do beach rides and holidays away with my friend and her horse.

I’m not adverse to a veteran or a horse/pony with health issues as long as fully disclosed. Something that’s been there and done it but now needs a quieter life would be ideal.

Must be good in all traffic and travel in a trailer.

I’ve owned and ridden horses all my life but I’m now in my sixties and no longer brave so no bucking, rearing, bolting or napping, no project horses and no dealers.

In return I can offer a long term experienced home on my  own land at my home with other horses, all year turnout with field shelter and stabling as required
