ALFIE

Gorgeous 2019 15hh registered Highland. Alfie has been in the same home since a foal, he is a kind, friendly and sweet on the ground. Alfie has three lovely paces, he’s comfortable and steady, will ride off your voice or your aids and he’s trustworthy and easy in every way, such a safe, happy, laid back chap. Alfie has done fun rides, been to the forest, river, and has done most riding club activities, he also has a few showing classes under his belt.

Alfie will turn his hoof to any job, he’s easy. He has plenty of promise with his jumping, unbothered by coloured fillers or rustic fences, a nice pop in him and will help his pilot out, he will jump from a trot or canter off any stride and doesn’t mind if his rider is wobbly or nervous.

Alfie is fantastic in traffic and he hacks alone and in company, he’s been excellent here with the farm machinery, nothing seems to bother him. Super sane and sensible in open spaces. A nice horse for someone to go out tomorrow and have fun with. Open to any vet or trainer £10500

Talisker Tourmaline - Top Class 6yr old Highland Stallion

Tommy has shown himself to be a top class ridden stallion with some super novice results and brilliant placings in HOYS qualifiers, narrowly missing his ticket at the Royal Norfolk.

This boy has the most superb temperament, a delight to show inhand. He is forward going with bone and substance, proving himself as an inhand pony with top results and could easily be a Price Family contender.

Tommy is a proven sire, will run with mares and has some quality stock on the ground.

Tommy is a very jolly pony with so much to give, he loves his job and does everything with his ears pricked. Hacks alone and in company, pops a jump.

This is a very hard decision and looking for the best of homes.

Dougal (Scotts Man of Cairnargat)

11 year old, 14.1hh Highland pony.

Dougal is a versatile Highland who is happy to put his hoof to anything. I have owned him for 4.5 years and in this time we’ve had a blast doing a bit of everything - XC/ SJ, hunter trials, dressage, hunting, arena eventing, riding camps, and beach rides to name a few!

He has the ability to turn up a notch when it’s needed but also drop a gear and pottle around for a relaxing hack with the dog at foot. Always ridden in a snaffle.

He is happy out on his own or with others and isn’t phased by traffic or open spaces. Excellent for the farrier/ clipping/ vet and loading.

Dougal really is one in a million and I will only part with him for the best of homes. But I feel that now is the time for him to find a new person to have fun with as I am looking to move onto something bigger to event at higher levels.

Balmoral Angel – 14.1hh 11 yr old Mouse Dun Highland Mare

Ref #: 386163
  • Impeccable breeding

£10,000 inc VAT
  • Highland
  • Dun
  • Mare
  • 11 years
  • 14.1 hands
  • Impeccable breeding
  • Bred by the late Queen Elizabeth
  • All rounder
Angel is a very special mare with a wonderful history and immpecable breeding, she was bred by the late Queen Elizabeth and spent much of her life at Balmoral as a deer pony. She was shown successfully as a youngster and more recently has been enjoying life as a full time ridden pony.

Angel has been enjoying a new chapter, taking part in fun rides, hunt ambles, and doing some schooling. She is happiest when out exploring and really comes into her own hacking across countryside. Fun rides and days out are her forte, and she would make a fabulous leisure or hunt horse for someone looking for a safe, genuine companion to share adventures with.

Angel is a straightforward, kind mare with manners. She will not overtake the horse in front nor does she mind being overtaken. She has never bucked, reared, or napped, and is a real pleasure to handle on the ground. She thrives in a herd and enjoys the company of other horses so would not suit a home where she is expected to be turned out on her own. She will happily live in or out. She will happily hack alone with no issues but she appreciates a confident rider to give her that extra bit of reassurance.

While she schools nicely she is green and the arena isn’t where her heart lies. She will happily take part in clinics or group sessions and with time and consistency, there’s no doubt she could make her mark in the show ring, but right now her true joy is being out and about. She thrives in work but equally you can hop on after a few weeks off with no difference.

Angel is good to catch, shoe, load, vet ect. She is good in traffic and with farm machinery, dogs and other livestock.

Angel is a one of a kind mare with a unique history, looking for the right person to enjoy her, appreciate her, and give her the varied life she loves best.

Open to vetting, Comes with out saddle, home is very important.
