I have decided to sell my lovely highland mare Bonny as she is far from being ready to retire, and is still sound and forward and enthusiastic about her work.

I have owned Bonny for ten years and in that time she has been my show horse, my mum and sharers calm hack, a nanny-pony to youngsters getting broken in/ hacking out, broken to drive and lots and lots of fun!

Bonny is a forward going, well schooled, obedient and calm ride. She is not a plod (she does not need kicking along every stride), she has been schooled by myself to a high level and has previously done walk to canters and basic lateral work. She can be working beautifully in the school one day, then be hacked on the buckle the next.

Bonny has been there, done it and got the T-shirt, she has been to all the big shows, Windsor etc and has always behaved as expected.

Bonny has also spent time at Stud, and has been broken to drive. However, I am a novice driver and she is still green in harness so I am now looking to move onto a established driving horse to learn with

An ideal home for Bonny would be with someone wanting to have a delightful, fun well schooled pony - she really is a lovely ride

She would also be extremely happy in a hacking home. She is no longer suitable to be in a showing home as she does have a visible lump (as lots of grey mares of a certain age do). She is a chunky type and therefore not suitable for jumping.

Bonny is perfect to load and travels well, and is not excited when she gets to a show so would be perfect for someone that wants to travel to dressage / hacking / sponsored rides on their own as she is so easy to do will stand on the trailer with no bother.

Excellent to shoe, clip etc, I haven't actually found any husbandry activity that she doesn't enjoy. She will stand to be clipped/ groomed etc all day.

The photos are two from her showing days, the in hand one I took last week.

Please text or call me (Sasha) sometimes emails go into my junk folder and I might miss them

Cora is a very pretty, friendly busy young pony who will make a great riding partner and a real friend to her owner.

She has been shown successfully in hand as a youngster and is currently continuing her ridden education with Rebecca Chalmers after being started there last year.

She's a forward going, brave, fun pony with three correct paces. She hacks alone and in company, she's great with dogs, kids, cyclist, tractors etc. and has light snaffle mouth.

She's easy to catch, lead, load and has great feet so is currently unshod. She has absolutely no vices but not suitable for a novice.

For more pictures or video please get in touch. Serious enquirys only. Thanks.

Lagalgarve Beinn Cruachan - 11 year old registered 14.1hh grey Highland gelding, lovely natured and very genuine.

He is a nice quiet hacking pony that loves to please. He rides alone but loves company, he will school but this is not his favorite thing (typical Highland).

Fantastic loader and easy to catch (he comes to you). Very good in traffic. He is probably not a total novice ride (not a plod), he knows his job and will respond well to the leg.

He is barefoot and has always been unshod. No history of health issues. Teeth maintained by Equine Dentist.

Can be turned out with mares and geldings.

My previous riding instructor has written "I rode creagy for around a year. He is an easy character who enjoys attention. He is a chilled out character who enjoys his hacking. Never had any issues with the biggest of traffic. Hacked alone and in company but prefers company. Sometimes a tiny bit sticky to leave the yard but nothing nasty at all! He has three easy, balanced paces and never got strong or silly. I’ve Cantered him on woodland tracks and in fields and he was good as gold.  Very good to handle on the ground and enjoyed a good cool off with the hose after a ride"

Open to a full vetting. Only a 5* home will be considered. Sorry but will not consider LWTB or loaning.

North Somerset.
