Bramble has been very well-handled from birth, he is good with the farrier, walks out well in hand and is used to being both groomed and bathed.

By the well-renowned Highland stallion Glenwestcastle Loch Rannoch, out of Cathkin Katie Rose, Bramble is an exciting future showing and breeding prospect. Equally, with his exceptional temperament, he will make a super general purpose pony and friend.

Bramble has taken part in our small equine assisted learning programme from the age of two months and therefore whilst he is not over-handled for his age, he has met with a variety of different people ( and dogs!) already, both young and old.

By Balmoral Major, the highly regarded Highland stallion previously owned and bred by HM The Queen and out of Birchcroft Susie he offers a particularly attractive pedigree.

Mac has already covered a mare, getting her in foal on his first attempt – which is great and an encouraging indication of his fertility. We are looking forward to the arrival of his foal in spring.

He is a genuine, kind and exceptionally well-mannered young man, with a lovely temperament and is a pleasure to have around. He turns with his gelding friend or can also be turned out in a field next to mares. He also happily stables next to either.

He can be left out alone whilst his friend is taken in, or he will come in alone he doesn't really care.

He is a really exciting young stallion who would make a valuable asset to any stud. With his lovely movement and trainable attitude he will be fantastic under saddle when the time comes.

He can NOT be turned out with sheep and this is the only reason i am very unfortunately parting with him. We are a sheep farm and all our ponies graze alongside them.

He won't be sold to just anyone, so no daydreamers please. He is a top class lad with a lot of potential!

Located in Caithness, Scotland. Eric Gillies are up here once a week so transport is no problem.
