Ideal summer project

11.3 ( but substantial! ) Welsh section A mare.

Very quality and true to type but not coarse.

4 yo .. so should make up the full 12 hands.

Well bred pony .. She is by CRUMPWELL SHAMSON ( TAFARNAUBACH SION ) x SPRINGBOURNE CARRERA ( CASCOB SILVERGHOST ).

Nice nature, easy and quiet to do, brush, tie up, pick up feet etc .my 5 yo leads her and walks around on the lead rein ,brushes her etc.

Has spent a few weeks mouthing and long reining in the field and up the lanes and has been sat on and walked and trotted up the lanes and today 23/07 been to the woods and had a little canter up the tracks.

Not been phased by a rider on her back but obviously the very early stages of her education, done the basics but very much a project for someone to produce on.

Substantial enough to carry small adult.

Produced could make a LR/first ridden/PC pony etc .. would look very smart driving ? Or enough step to show to a decent level.

£1950 very reasonably priced to sell

Video attached .. calls only please

Beautiful inside and out palomino 4 year old Welsh Section A mare.

Produced correctly by 9 year old girl.

Moves correctly and sweetly on the LR.

Not at all spooky, very unphased and mature attitude.

Lives in or out. Happy to stay in on or out on her own and not worried about the comings and goings of other ponies.

Handled and lunged by children.

Loads, good with farrier and kind temperament.

Good on the roads and with traffic.

So much potential in the ring as a top class tiny tots lead rein.

Due to her age we want her to go to an experienced home where her education can develop.

Please no timeswasters or video collectors. Elsa is a quality young pony who has been started correctly with so much potential. Please don't contact me if you want a pony with lots of ring experience as she doesn't have that but she also doesn't have the associated price tag.

Handsome 17yr old grey sec A. Low mileage for age.

A real confidence giving LR. Happily hacks on or off lead rein with any rider with or without company. Good to ride and lead.

Phoenix is happiest hacking or hunting where he will go on or off LR.

He loves to jump but finds circles a bit boring so will grind to a halt in the school with a timid rider - hence not advertised as first ridden.

Done all PC activities, camp, NSEA champs etc. Seen hounds. No known history of sweet itch or lami. V easy to do in all ways. Lives in or out and stands patiently to be handled, groomed, dressed up by children etc.

Has taken our 2 children from LR to confidently riding off the LR. Fit and ready to go for the summer.

  • Would excel in showing and dressage

Trevadlock King Arthur

Registered Welsh Section A , Gelding, 11.2hh.

Bred by Forlan stallion.

Arthur is a lovely example of a Welsh section A, he has plenty of bone and a leg in each corner, he represents the thicker set section As.

With four white socks, a white blaze and his beautiful dun colour , he catches the eye everywhere he goes and we’re always showered with compliments about his appearance. He moves for fun especially when ridden by a jockey that knows how to get the best out of him. He would excel in showing and dressage. Whilst Arthur has a very correct and lovely shape over a fence (rarely tapping a pole), he can be looky ant fillers and for this reason would excel in showing and dressage rather than jumping. He will jump and has done show jumping and XC, but needs confidence from his rider. Arthur won the junior championship unaffiliated dressage league in April this year with a 16yo rider.

Arthur rides off the lead rein and has been ridden by a 9 year old he is great in walk and trot but can be cheeky and buck in canter on occasion as well as the odd spook.

Arthur loves life on the lead rein, he enjoys building a relationship with his handler and is comfortable and relaxed on the lead. Arthur has taken us around many unaffiliated lead rein showing classes and won most as well as multiple championships. I feel it is likely he could have pursued this career further in the right hands, but showing was not our primary focus and his jockey has now outgrown him in what she wants to do as her focus is on show jumping and riding off lead rein.

Out hacking Arthur will happily follow another horse. He is not strong and is good with most traffic except for larger vehicles and rattling trailers which he is scared of and would rather they stop for him to pass or wait for him to get out of he way.

He is 100% to catch, load and travel and will stand on the box or tied to the box all day long. You don’t know you’ve got him on the box.

He has never been nasty to handle. Good to clip.

Arthur has 2 front shoes on .

Arthur has no previous injuries or illnesses. He has never had laminitis but is carefully managed to avoid this.

Arthur is up to date with back, teeth and vaccinations.

Arthur will live out with others or alone, he has been out with mares and geldings and had no issue. Arthur is respectful of the stable and fencing.

This is a very sad sale and therefore only the experienced and best of homes need must apply. We would like to stay in touch to hear how he’s getting on if possible. Open to vettings, no loans. Motivated to sell to make room for the next pony.

Up to date with vaccinations, back and teeth done ready to go to his new home.

Worm count completed.

Will come with some rugs and a bridle but other

Quality tack and rugs available by separate negotiation.

5 year old unbroken registered grey Welsh Mountain Pony mare ready to meet her new best friend to have fun and adventures with.

She was bred by us and has been well handled but unfortunately due to family commitments we haven’t got round to backing her so she is a complete blank canvas for someone.

She’s good for the farrier, loads and travels well, attended a show as a foal and is up to date with her vaccinations etc.

She can be itchy so wears a fly rug during the summer and is kept away from wooded areas, but this is manageable and is reflected in her price.

Winneydene Justyn or 'Jester' moves beautifully in all three paces, with a balanced, comfortable canter. He really stands out in a crowd and shows great scope and technique over a fence.

With us he has done pony club rallies and camp, small shows, dressage competitions and lots of hacking including beach rides. Previously he did a lot of showing. He had never really jumped before we had him two years ago so is still a bit of a novice, especially as my very nervous daughter will only try over small tracks! He really enjoys his jumping and has great potential to do a lot more with the right jockey.

He is good on the lead rein but is more of a second pony off the lead as he can try it on by napping and occasionally bucking. He needs a confident rider and then does not play them up at all.

He's quite chunky and takes up the leg well but is now outgrown.

Good to load, catch, groom, bath and for the farrier (he's barefoot) and dentist.

No health issues and up-to-date with vaccinations and teeth.

Lives in or out all year round but you have to watch his weight!

Can be strong to lead in a headcollar, and pulls faces especially around food.

He is a real character to have around and often makes us laugh with his antics. We really want to find him the right home. Price includes tack and rugs.

Anna is a genuine, safe and versatile 13-year-old registered Welsh Section A mare standing approximately 12hh, with show-quality Royal Welsh bloodlines. She is the perfect first or second pony.

Easy to handle and load, and happily looked after by children. Excellent for the vet, farrier and dentist. Goes in a snaffle. Rides independently — hacks out beautifully alone and in company. Jumps small courses up to 60cm with scope to do more. Suitable for Pony Club, endurance, first ridden, and lead rein/first ridden showing. Great potential in the show ring — clean limbs, straight mover, floaty paces. Bombproof in traffic and used to farm machinery. Lives in or out, settled in a mixed herd. No history of laminitis. Up to date with worming and vaccinations. Lovely, kind temperament.

Anna was a riding school pony before moving to a private home for the last two years, where she was a confident ride for a little girl who adored her on the farm. Her young rider is now moving on to other interests, so we are looking for the right family to give her the love and rides she deserves.

Ideal for:

A child stepping up from lead rein to first ridden
A nervous or novice rider who needs a confidence-giver
Pony Club, showing or endurance families
A second pony to bring a younger sibling on alongside an older child
Rural or farm families — Anna is unflappable around traffic and machinery

'COOKIE' registered Welsh Section A, born 2018. A very sad sale of a beautiful looking, confidence giving pony. Great to do in all ways, perfectly mannered in and out of the stable and around little ones. Safe and sound to ride, responsive to even the tiniest of legs, nicely forward without being 'whizzy' or 'sharp'. Ridden by a a nervous 11 year old on and off the lead rein and a small six year old off the lead rein.

He's done a bit of everything. Would do the lead rein, first ridden, 1.5 and second pony job. Out off the yard every week at various rallies, competitions etc. Will pop sweetly round a 30/40cm course. Has scope to jump bigger but we haven't done this with him. Very soft snaffle mouth.

Absolutely no time wasters, a truly heart breaking sale of a very loved pony. Only for sale as we have too many. Vaccinations, teeth, feet up to date, ready to go for the Summer. Stunning registered Welsh section a gelding 4 year old. LR, FR prospect for next season.

He has correct confirmation, clean limbed, no vices or blemishes.

Recently broken and has started his education on and off the lead rein by my 5 year old and has taken to it excellently with only little encouragement. Also ridden on roads and seen heavy traffic.

We took him to his first show this weekend which was a big, buzzy county show and he behaved impeccably, not fazed by anything. He even placed 2nd and made the championships! So many people stopped and commented on his eye catching looks and overall presence.

He has been to the beach, fun rides, local shows ect and taken it all in his stride. Handled by myself and my children daily,  Billy has good all round manners, however he can be nervous but not nasty and will need a knowledgable home.

He will be sold with his bridle, fylde saddle and rugs. Fully registered with WPCS

11.3hh Grey, 7-year-old Registered Welsh Section A Gelding (Green Passport)

A very genuine and much-loved pony looking for his next knowledgeable home.

We have owned this cheeky little gelding for the past three years, but sadly he is now hopelessly outgrown by my daughter.

He has three lovely, expressive and eye catching paces and a careful, scopey jump. He has successfully competed and won unaffiliated show jumping up to 60cm and is comfortably jumping bigger jumps at home, giving him plenty of potential for show jumping, working hunter and showing. He also works in a lovely outline so would be a great dressage prospect.

He is bold, fast, forward going and confident around a course, loves his jumping and always takes his rider to a fence. He has speed and a big heart. He hacks well, is good to load, shoe and clip and with dentist, and has also happily done lead rein with us both in showing and for hacking..

He is not a first-ridden pony. He is best suited to a confident, gutsy and competent child wanting to progress and have fun in show jumping, dressage or workers. Like many clever Welsh ponies, he can put in the occasional cheeky buck when fresh, so he thrives on regular, varied work and would not suit a nervous or novice rider.

On the ground he has a huge personality. He absolutely loves attention, enjoys being fussed by children and is equally happy around dogs and cats. He can be a little strong to handle at times, so we use a chain headcollar, to which he responds very well.

He can live in or out and is happy in both small and larger herds.

This is a genuinely difficult sale of a much-loved family pony, and finding him the right home is our absolute priority. We would also like first refusal should his new owners ever decide to sell him in the future.

We have owned Jonesy for nearly four years & in that time he has competed in M&M FR/cradle stakes/PC showjumping/dressage competitions.

This year he qualified for RIHS in the PP M&M FR first time out. He qualified for RI junior small breeds in 2024 & stood BSPS Area 13b reserve supreme of show in that year. He competed on the winning Devon junior youth dressage team at inter-county with some good scores, despite my daughter's heart not being in this discipline! He is very mannerly on the lead rein & in his only attempt at the LIHS Heritage working sports pony LR & FR qualifiers last year, he finished in the top four in both classes. He has also done PC showjumping on the lead rein as well qualifying for the PC SJ mini champs at Bicton (40cm-60cm).

With his previous owners he was reserve champion in the Dargavel young pony final at the NPS championships & was 2nd in both the 122cm M&M novice and intermediate WHP finals.

He is perfectly mannered, sane and sensible in every way. He is great to have a canter in open spaces (fields/beach), has never bucked or dragged his little ones to grass! Can trust him to be led to field/being loaded etc by a child.

Looking for 5* knowledgable home where he can continue having fun with a new little person. Sad sale of much loved pony

11hh registered Welsh section a mare.

Gwen is the ideal tiny tots pony. She will stand all day to be messed around with and led around by the children. Doesn’t bite or kick.

Has been shown in hand and on lead rein. You can ride and lead her off another horse. Will hack out on the lead rein on her own or in company. Not phased by traffic and not spooky.

A real steady pony who is ideal for children learning to ride. Will pop a little x pole on lead rein.

I’m selling her as only a lead rein pony as she will not go off the lead rein easily, she requires a lot of leg and a bigger rider to get her going.

No health issues and up to date with her vaccinations.

Crimond Nathaniel (Nemo) – 9-year-old Gelding – 118cm

Nemo is a genuine, talented and fun pony who would make an exceptional Pony Club pony for a confident child wanting to enjoy a bit of everything. Whether it’s rallies, camps, competitions, fun rides or showing, he absolutely loves having a job and thrives in a busy, varied home.

Alongside his all-round ability, Nemo has an outstanding showing record. He is currently being successfully campaigned in the HOYS Open 122 WHP classes, already achieving numerous excellent placings this season, and has qualified for the RIHS Open 122 WHP 2026.

Last season he was successfully campaigned in the HOYS Junior classes, finishing in the placings every time out. As a novice, he also achieved many outstanding results, including Champion at Cheshire.

Nemo is not a first ridden or FYFR pony, so please don’t enquire if your child is just coming off the lead rein or lacks confidence. He is a forward-going pony who enjoys his work and would suit a capable, enthusiastic rider looking for a competitive, fun partner.

Although he has been produced to a high standard in the show ring, I genuinely feel he would thrive in a knowledgeable Pony Club home where he can continue to compete, learn and have plenty of fun. He is the type of pony who loves to be kept busy and enjoys variety.

Nemo will only be available after RIHS, although I am happy to keep him until the end of the season if required.

He is extremely easy to handle on the ground. His only vice is that he requires sedation for clipping his ears.

• Up to date with vaccinations, dentist, farrier and worming.

• No blemishes or previous injuries.

• Low mileage for his age and has never been rushed.

I would also be delighted to keep him on production for the 122s if a junior jockey wishes to continue campaigning him alongside their classes and Pony Club activities.

Based in Ashover.

Open to viewings and vettings.
