Summerhouse is a family owned business set up in 1978 by Sheila and John Weston and run by their daughter, Helen Gallop and granddaughter, Sara Gallop. Summerhouse offers a wide range of services, including being an established show centre, riding school, BHS training and examination centre and livery yard.

Ever wanted to ride a horse that has been there and done it all? 
Prestige training has been designed to accommodate riders looking to progress and develop their skills at a more advanced level whether it's just for fun or competitively. Whether you are looking to improve your confidence, brush up on your technique, train for a specific show/exam or just have some fun, this is what prestige training is about. We have some fabulous schoolmasters ranging from Novice to Grand Prix Dressage horses, Novice to 1.30m Show Jumpers and ex Intermediate eventers.

The Summerhouse Training Group – Apprenticeships Available!
What do apprenticeships involve?

• Apprenticeships are over a 12-month duration period
• You can take Riding, Coaching or Stud pathways, depending on experience and yard facilities
  
• The academic equivalent to a Diploma Level 2 is 5 GCSE's (A-C)
  
• The academic equivalent to a Diploma Level 3 is 2 A Levels (C)
