Professional Showjumping Training, Competition & Livery at Birchenoak Stud Farm, Devon

Birchenoak Stud Farm offers a professional and individual approach to producing horses and riders, headed by international showjumper and UKCC Level 2 coach Elliott Smith.

Elliott has competed internationally through to 5* level, including Dublin, London/Olympia, Royal Windsor and Hamburg, with extensive experience producing horses from young horses through to top-level competition.

We currently have limited availability for horses to join the yard for:

• Competition & training livery

• Horses sent for schooling and further education

• Young horse production

• Competition riding

• Sales livery and preparation

• Short-term intensive training

• Full livery

• Private showjumping and flatwork lessons

Every horse is treated individually, with training programmes tailored around the horse, owner and their goals. Whether that is improving confidence and rideability, developing a young horse, moving up through the levels or producing a horse towards serious competition, the focus is on correct, sympathetic and progressive training.

Birchenoak Stud Farm benefits from excellent facilities including a large all-weather arena, quality stabling, turnout and hacking, with horses managed by an experienced professional team.

Lessons are also available at Birchenoak Stud Farm for riders wanting to improve their flatwork, jumping, confidence or competition performance.
