Genuine, kind-hearted 16hh TB gelding looking for an experienced home.

Shelby is a lovely, genuine horse with a wonderful temperament, a big stride and plenty of ability. He is forward-going and has plenty of engine, so he is looking for a confident, capable rider who enjoys a horse with some presence and likes to get on with a job.

He is not a naughty or sharp horse — he does not buck, rear, bolt, kick or bite. He simply enjoys his work and rides big.

He is a very rewarding horse to work with.

Shelby has been with us for the last five years. He originally came to us after racing and successfully competed in polocrosse before being reschooled in dressage. He subsequently spent a year on loan to a teenager, where he was regularly schooled, hacked and competed in dressage.

He has recently had 10 weeks of professional schooling, continuing his education and bringing him back into consistent work.

He:

Schools nicely on the flat and is continuing to develop

Hacks alone or in company

Has a big, athletic stride and plenty of scope for an experienced rider

Is ROR eligible

Is good to shoe, catch and groom

Is excellent for the vet, farrier and physio

Has a lovely temperament and is genuinely pleasant to have around

Has no history of bucking, rearing, bolting, kicking or biting

Shelby would suit an experienced home looking for a talented horse to enjoy dressage, riding club activities, hacking, jumping or simply furthering his education. He has plenty of ability and would be particularly rewarding for someone who enjoys producing a horse rather than wanting a finished schoolmaster.

He has not had the opportunity to build a competition record due to transport limitations, rather than lack of ability or willingness to work.

Shelby can occasionally be seen windsucking around feed times, which is reflected in his price.

He is being sold only because of a change in circumstances and lack of time to give him the consistent work he deserves. This is a genuinely difficult sale after five years together, and he will only go to a knowledgeable, suitable home.

Simba 5yo 14.2hh Welsh x TB Gelding 🦁

A really lovely project for a confident teen or adult looking for a young horse to put their own stamp on.

He is easy to do in all ways and is a real pleasure to have around. He is good to catch, load ,happy to be bathed and stands nicely for the farrier/trim. He has a lovely temperament and is always willing to please.

Under saddle, Simba is producing some lovely flatwork , although he is still green and continuing to learn. He has three nice paces and would suit someone who enjoys bringing on a young horse and watching them develop. Hacks alone and in company.

He has been lightly jumped proving willing and bold, unfazed by fillers. He is still green in this area but with mileage would make a lovely riding club type.

No novices please, he is 5 and although a good boy needs a competent rider. He is a typical Welsh with the personality to match, a yard favourite🤩

A great all rounder produced to compete in all disciplines although his love is definitely on the Hunting field and also Team Chasing, he jumps big hedges effortlessly and truly loves it, he is mannerly on the hunting field and happy to sit wherever you put him up front or at the back. He would be a fantastic hunt horse and he enjoys every minute of it and thrives on the work, he has hunted with both Male and Female riders.

He has Cross Country schooled over decent fences and jumps around a course of Coloured poles effortlessly at home and has done a few Unaffiliated Shows where he was placed in every class, he also has 3 nicely balanced paces on the flat, is good in all ways, to hack, travel, catch, in the stable and with the farrier, he is super easy on the ground and will load and stand quietly on the lorry alone or with company so very easy to take anywhere on your own.

He is a versatile horse with good show jumping lines and could be further produced to Event or Pure Show Jumping. All the foundations are in place so he is ready for someone to crack on with and make their own.

SOLD

🌸 ROSIE — VERY RELUCTANT SALE 🌸

A very special opportunity to purchase our stunning home-bred filly, Rosie.

Rosie has been bred, born and raised here on our family farm, and has been given the very best start in life. She is accustomed to all the sights and sounds of farm life, including children, chickens, farm machinery and other horses.

She has an exceptional temperament — incredibly chilled, kind and easy-going, whilst also being bold, confident and already showing a lovely independent nature. She is the type of youngster that is a pleasure to have around.

Rosie has beautiful natural movement, with a lovely big walk, loose, expressive trot and a strong, uphill canter. She has all the attributes to make an exciting ridden prospect and we believe she has a very bright future ahead of her.

Her dam is a lovely mare by DiMaggio, and her sire is Crackenthorpe Zentaro, who has produced numerous quality youngstock that have gone on to excel in a variety of disciplines, particularly showing and eventing.

Rosie is expected to make approximately 16hh and is already very well handled. Before leaving us she will be halter broken, wormed, have her first vaccination and be accustomed to the farrier.

She will be ready to leave in November.

This is an extremely hard sale. Rosie is quite simply the best filly we have bred, and we would not be considering selling her if our circumstances had not changed.

She is a genuinely special youngster with the temperament, breeding, movement and attitude to go a long way in the right hands. We are looking for a loving, knowledgeable home where she can continue to thrive and reach her full potential.

Serious enquiries only. Please no timewasters. First to view will buy. Forever home preferred.

Dolly is a fun easy horse to ride, she is naturally quick and careful - she has low mileage in competitions but has done lots of training shows and is ready to go.

She has potential to be a fantastic children on horses horse, a kid moving from ponies onto horses or equally an amateur who wants to win.

She’s very sweet and easy to do everything with from the ground .
