Extremely sad sale of our gorgeous boy Blue due to being outgrown. We have owned Blue for 4 years and have competed in most disciplines. Blue is a wonderful character to have around the yard and will be missed terribly.

Whilst being with us Blue has competed in show jumping, XC, dressage and working hunters. He has taken part at PC daily camp every year enjoying all aspects. His ‘can do’ attitude makes him lots of fun for his rider.

Kilnstown Rosaleen (Dazzle) is a truly exceptional, honest, and kind 13.2hh Welsh Section C mare who has been the absolute making of my daughter. We bought Dazzle in Spring 2025 from a wonderful family who had owned her for several years—they originally bought her as a confidence builder, and their daughter similarly blossomed in both ability and confidence.

Dazzle did the exact same magic for us. After a setback with a sharp pony left my daughter’s confidence completely knocked last year, Dazzle rebuilt it from the ground up and took her far beyond where she was before. Now 12, my daughter has outgrown her in both height and confidence, leading to this very heartbreaking sale. Dazzle was the first horse my daughter properly fell in love with, and she has been a total dream to own.

Riding & Character in the Saddle

We initially thought Dazzle might be a bit of a ‘kick-along’, but she turned out to be a perfect fit and a brilliant teacher. She taught my daughter how to use her legs correctly and, once you find the right buttons to press, she is nicely forward, responsive, without being sharp.

Show Jumping & Cross-Country: Her happy place is popping around 40cm–70cm courses, making her fantastic for a rider looking to build rhythm and trust. However, once you get her going forward, she will easily take on 80cm–90cm, and my daughter has even jumped her up to 1m. Fillers, steps, brushes, and barrels do not phase her. (Note: She isn't a huge fan of going through water, but with a bit of encouraging leg, she will).

Pony Club & Activities: Focused primarily on Show Jumping, Cross-Country, and Pony Club rallies. She has just come back from Pony Club Senior Camp, where she was fantastic throughout.

Hacking: A total joy to hack out in open countryside, farmland, or on roads. She hacks happily alone or with company and is safe and good in traffic. My daughter even experienced her very first open-field gallop on her!

Extremely sad sale of our gorgeous boy Blue due to being outgrown. We have owned Blue for 4 years and have competed in most disciplines. Blue is a wonderful character to have around the yard and will be missed terribly.

Whilst being with us Blue has competed in show jumping, XC, dressage and working hunters. He has taken part at PC daily camp every year enjoying all aspects. His ‘can do’ attitude makes him lots of fun for his rider.

Blue loves a varied lifestyle. He is fantastic out hacking, absolutely bomb proof with the heaviest of traffic. Good in open spaces although can be strong when cantering with others.

Blue is handled by my daughter every single day. He is cheap to keep, lives on fresh air. We are looking for a super little jockey who can enjoy Blue as much as we have.

Blue is not a first pony as he can be strong at times so rider needs to be competent in walk, trot and canter and jumping courses happily. He will initially step down for a smaller rider as he did for G.

Brilliant to load, clip, shoe, dentist etc. No vet history.

We are looking for a 5* home for this very special pony. This is an extremely hard sale for my daughter as he has been her best friend over the last four years.

Overview

Kilnstown Rosaleen (Dazzle) is a truly exceptional, honest, and kind 13.2hh Welsh Section C mare who has been the absolute making of my daughter. We bought Dazzle in Spring 2025 from a wonderful family who had owned her for several years—they originally bought her as a confidence builder, and their daughter similarly blossomed in both ability and confidence.

Dazzle did the exact same magic for us. After a setback with a sharp pony left my daughter’s confidence completely knocked last year, Dazzle rebuilt it from the ground up and took her far beyond where she was before. Now 12, my daughter has outgrown her in both height and confidence, leading to this very heartbreaking sale. Dazzle was the first horse my daughter properly fell in love with, and she has been a total dream to own.

Riding & Character in the Saddle

We initially thought Dazzle might be a bit of a ‘kick-along’, but she turned out to be a perfect fit and a brilliant teacher. She taught my daughter how to use her legs correctly and, once you find the right buttons to press, she is nicely forward, responsive, without being sharp.

Show Jumping & Cross-Country: Her happy place is popping around 40cm–70cm courses, making her fantastic for a rider looking to build rhythm and trust. However, once you get her going forward, she will easily take on 80cm–90cm, and my daughter has even jumped her up to 1m. Fillers, steps, brushes, and barrels do not phase her. (Note: She isn't a huge fan of going through water, but with a bit of encouraging leg, she will).

Pony Club & Activities: Focused primarily on Show Jumping, Cross-Country, and Pony Club rallies. She has just come back from Pony Club Senior Camp, where she was fantastic throughout.

Hacking: A total joy to hack out in open countryside, farmland, or on roads. She hacks happily alone or with company and is safe and good in traffic. My daughter even experienced her very first open-field gallop on her!

Flatwork & Routine: Keeps a great, consistent routine through being exercised several times a week. She is professionally schooled once a week, my daughter takes a weekly lesson on her, and she is ridden a further 2–3 times a week across hacking, arena hires, and rallies.

Handling & Temperament.

In the Stable & Yard: Zero issues grooming, clipping, bathing, or handling for the vet, dentist, and farrier. All vaccinations and dental records are up to date.

Loading & Travel: No issues to load/unload and travel in a horsebox or trailer.

Quirks: She likes her personal space in the field and in the horsebox (she prefers other horses not to get too close behind her or crowd her during mealtimes), but she is very straightforward to manage once you know her routine.

If your horse is 6 years old+, 15hh+, safe and sensible, working at prelim/novice level, jumping a course of up to 80/90cms, or a competition horse looking for a quieter life, then we can help you!
