  • Quality Blood Pony Welsh Section B Tuscan Star

  • Currently JC with Top Track Potential

We’ve owned Tucker for 16 months. My daughter was a dinky 7 year old when she started her BS journey on him and is now a dinky 8 year old.

I wrestled Tucker off of a friend in Ireland. His 7 year old lad at the time had been flying around their U10’s 80’s and 90’s very successfully since he was 6 years old. His Irish record speaks for itself.

Tucker loves to be ridden forward, he is fast, very competitive but safe. My daughter has never wanted to ride him forward so unfortunately this assumed match made in heaven just hasn’t materialised.

I have been desperately reluctant to admit that the pair just don’t gel because Tucker is such a smart pony with so much potential. I have been putting off writing this advert for 6 months just hoping and praying that things will change and she would ride him as he was ridden in Ireland, but it’s not to be.

We will for sure see his next jockey winning Springboards and going on to jump the Winter/Summer’s on him in no time at all. When he qualifies for Hoys I will be pleased but devastated that it’s not my daughter on board.

I have an older daughter who is out of 128’s so when my younger daughter isn’t around we often sneak him off schooling with her bigger ponies, so I know exactly what he is capable of.

She has had some great days out on him and lots of lovely clear rounds but primarily this hobby should always be fun, and she doesn’t consistently have the fun on him she should and likewise Tucker doesn’t really appreciate the way in which she wants him to go.

His BS record is relevant to a tiny inexperienced 7/8 year old jockey. It’s not bad by any means, Qualified Stepping Stones Finals 26, Bluechip Pearl along with her NSEA Finals with plenty of 75cm and 80cm DC’S mixed in.

If Tucker goes to the right home his price tag will end up being a bargain as he has got the potential to end up with a value far in excess of his current one once he is amongst that group of 25/30 ponies in the country capable of jumping the top tracks.

It will be a sad sell for sure as he is loved by us all, but it is the right move for daughter and pony.

Ideally I would like him to go to an experienced jumping home with a capable jockey so he can fulfil his potential.

He is good to do in every way. Loves to hack out, great in traffic. Although he is blood he never gets silly if he has a period of time he isn’t ridden. Not once have I ever felt that my 7 year old was unsafe on him.

He is JMB life measured 128cm.

Numerous photos and videos we could share as you could imagine.

Presently he goes out during the day, in at night. Good with other ponies and travels well.

For more details and any questions please call to discuss.

Roady is a well loved member of the family and yard, he has everyone's hearts and eyes on him being there since 4 years old training with the same people since.

He's done 5 year old classes and scored up to 86%, 6 year old qualified for the semi final at Hartpury then qualified at elementary gold regionals scoring up to 72% at ele currently ready to easily do mediums with a green change.

He has popped over a couple little jumps showing interest for more but he's ridden purely for dressage at the current moment.

Serious enquires only as this is a very sad sale but unfortunately I do not have the time.

Dylan is approximately 14.1hh, 9 years old, a well-bred Section D gelding

He truly has the most wonderful temperament — a cheeky, affectionate character who absolutely loves attention. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him. He’s full of personality and really enjoys having his own person.

Dylan schools nicely, is very flashy, and has a careful, scopey jump. He’s incredibly genuine with fences and isn’t spooky at all — he’ll happily jump whatever is put in front of him. In the right hands, he would make a fantastic working hunter prospect.

He hacks alone and in company, although he is still green hacking solo and would benefit from someone continuing to build his confidence in this area.

Dylan is low mileage for his age. He has attended a couple of clear round events and arena hires and has behaved brilliantly — he now simply needs to get out and see more of the world. I genuinely believe he could excel with someone who has the time to produce him further.

He is not suitable for a novice rider. While he has no nasty behaviour, he is a typical sensitive Section D who needs a confident, capable rider. When I first bought him, he was very nervous around people. He has come on massively and now loves fuss and attention, although he can still be wary of sudden movements at times.

Dylan does have a couple of minor cosmetic blemishes — capped hocks (hardly noticeable) and a small fluid lump on his knee, both of which have been checked by the vet and are purely cosmetic. He also briefly used to windsuck after feeds, but since placing a brush on his stable door he no longer does this.

Teeth upto date, he has never been shod as he has great hooves, ive never felt the need. Fine with farrier and to clip.

These points are already reflected in his price.

This is a heartbreaking sale, so finding the right home is far more important than anything else. Dylan deserves someone who will give him the time, consistency, and attention he thrives on. Only selling as i dont have the time to do him justice.

Penny is a super smart event prospect. She has three lovely paces and is calm, consistent and rideable in her tests.

She has a super technique over her fences and is super careful but still bold and very straight xc. She gave a super feel in a very decent first novice at Osberton.

Slowly and correctly produced she is a pleasure to have on the yard and good to do.

Home is very important as only for sale as I can’t find an owner for her.

Otis has 3 super paces and a huge scopey jump. He has been slowly and correctly produced but shows great potential.

He has been double clear and placed every time out eventing up to BE90 level and impressed recently in his BYEH run.

He is very well bred for sport and could either show jump or event.

He is still green but is a pleasure to have on the yard and will go far with the right rider.

Ivan is a beautiful gelding by

Vitalis x Rohdiamant 2013 16’2hh

He has previously competed internationally young riders/ PSG for the Netherlands and would be a perfect prospect for an ambitious junior or young rider or he would also suit someone wanting a horse to show them the higher levels. With the right partnership I believe he has all the ability to rise further up the levels.

He is sweet natured and lovely to deal with on the ground at home and he isn’t spooky in new venues.

Three big beautiful paces he is a real eyecatcher with a lot of quality.

He is currently out competing at advanced medium and qualified for the gold summer regionals in two outings. Scores up to 70%. He is ready to continue competing and training with his new rider.

He has no vices and is very good to travel, clip, shoe, dentist and vet

He has powerful, uphill paces, with some very competitive dressage scores. He has a careful, scopey jump and is bold but polite.

He loves xc and really gallops and covers the ground.

He is a pleasure to have on the yard and would either continue up the grades or be an incredibly competitive 2* horse.

Seriously talented 16.2hh 5-Year-Old Bay Gelding

By KMS Rooney (Eldorado) out of a Zandor Z Mare.

A quality young horse with all the attributes to excel in either show jumping or eventing.

This striking 5-year-old bay gelding stands at 16.2hh and is beautifully bred, being by the exciting jumper KMS Rooney out of a Zandor Z mare. Pedigree includes Clinton, Caretino and Thunder van de zuuthoeve. Purchased directly from his local breeder as a 2-year-old, he has been professionally and carefully produced with his long-term future firmly in mind. Backed as a 4-year-old and then turned away while other competition horses took priority, he has been allowed the time to grow, strengthen and mature correctly. As a result, he is relatively low mileage for his age, but is now ready to crack on with his competitive career.

A beautiful model with correct conformation, clean limbs and an athletic frame, he combines quality with ability. He moves well with three correct, balanced paces and is well established in the contact, remaining snaffle-mouthed at all times. His quality movement and rideability make him equally suited to an eventing career as well as show jumping.

He is showing serious talent over fences, proving to be brave, careful and naturally scopey, with all the ingredients to progress through the levels in the right hands. He has been out to arena hires and out xc schooling, however due to both riders having demanding full-time professional careers, he has not yet been given the competition mileage that his ability deserves.

He is a lovely horse to have around the yard, good to load and travel in our horsebox, good with the farrier, mannerly on the ground and hacks well in company. He has never been lame, sick or sorry. Lives in or out happily.

As expected of a young horse, he is still green, therefore he requires a confident, competent rider to continue his education and fulfil his obvious potential.

This is not a horse suited to a novice rider, mother-daughter share, teenager coming off ponies or as a first horse. He is a serious prospect with the talent and quality to be a valuable addition to a professional or ambitious semi-professional show jumper or eventer’s string.

We genuinely believe he has all the ability to make a top-class sport horse in the right hands. He is good enough to be a valuable addition to a professional's string and, once he gains the competition record his talent deserves, his value will no doubt double.

Serious enquiries only. No time wasters, day dreamers or joy riders. This is a genuine sale of a quality young horse with serious potential. Due to start going to some small competitions from this weekend and as such his price will increase as he does more.

Rocco is a true gentleman who can literally turn his hoof to anything.

He has been competing at BD prelim level getting 68%+ every time.

Has done a handful of HOYS flat qualifiers always gaining top shop marks, i really do believe he is quality enough to qualify.

We spent most of last winter out hunting regularly, where he behaved amazing and took it all in his stride.

Will happily hack alone and in company. Done farm rides and regular beach rides.

Has done some cross country schooling and most recently started the novice working hunter tracks.

Fab to handle and great for vet & farrier.
