Denzel is a 10.2hh, 7 year old Dartmoor hill pony.

Denzel spent the first 4 years of his life wild on Dartmoor until he was rounded up and put through the sales. Due to this he can be cautious around men.

He came to us unhandled in November 2024 since then we have introduced him to the correct handling and broken him in. He can walk trot canter under saddle on or off the lead rein

Denzel has the sweetest temperament on the ground and would make a lovely inhand/ showing pony

Vee is a lovely 4yo who is an absolute pleasure to have around. She is exceptionally easy, sweet-natured and straightforward, with a lovely attitude to everything she does.

She is not spooky, never does anything wrong and is incredibly uncomplicated. She can have a couple of weeks off and come back exactly the same — she doesn’t get fresh or silly, making her a particularly easy horse to keep and manage.

Vee has a lovely jumping technique and attitude and would suit either a showjumping or eventing home. She jumped clear in the 4yo Final at Weston Lawns, showing just how genuine and rideable she is.

She is extremely easy to have on the yard and is the type that anyone would enjoy having around. A very exciting young horse with a lovely future ahead of her.

Only for sale due to a change in circumstances. This is not a sale I would be making otherwise.

A very genuine, kind and uncomplicated 4yo who would suit a professional or competitive amateur looking for a horse to produce up through the levels. She is a pleasure to Hack on her own or in company and is good to shoe clip and travel.

🌸 ROSIE — VERY RELUCTANT SALE 🌸

A very special opportunity to purchase our stunning home-bred filly, Rosie.

Rosie has been bred, born and raised here on our family farm, and has been given the very best start in life. She is accustomed to all the sights and sounds of farm life, including children, chickens, farm machinery and other horses.

She has an exceptional temperament — incredibly chilled, kind and easy-going, whilst also being bold, confident and already showing a lovely independent nature. She is the type of youngster that is a pleasure to have around.

Rosie has beautiful natural movement, with a lovely big walk, loose, expressive trot and a strong, uphill canter. She has all the attributes to make an exciting ridden prospect and we believe she has a very bright future ahead of her.

Her dam is a lovely mare by DiMaggio, and her sire is Crackenthorpe Zentaro, who has produced numerous quality youngstock that have gone on to excel in a variety of disciplines, particularly showing and eventing.

Rosie is expected to make approximately 16hh and is already very well handled. Before leaving us she will be halter broken, wormed, have her first vaccination and be accustomed to the farrier.

She will be ready to leave in November.

This is an extremely hard sale. Rosie is quite simply the best filly we have bred, and we would not be considering selling her if our circumstances had not changed.

She is a genuinely special youngster with the temperament, breeding, movement and attitude to go a long way in the right hands. We are looking for a loving, knowledgeable home where she can continue to thrive and reach her full potential.

Serious enquiries only. Please no timewasters. First to view will buy. Forever home preferred.

This super horse has shown plenty of ability over a fence, having both scope and bravery. She is careful, always wanting to leave the fences up. She also moves very nicely, and would be an ideal prospect for a smaller adult or younger rider to progress in any discipline.

Very easy to handle and good natured on the ground, she has been lightly lunged and long lined and would be a great additional to a professional yard, or an amateur wanting to build a relationship with a talented, friendly mare. She really does have a fantastic temperament, and we would happily keep her here for backing.

Slim was trained but never raced. Suffered a tendon injury which was rehabbed but sadly a hind pastern injury means he isn’t suitable for a competitive ridden career.

He is fine for a light hack in walk but isn’t consistently sound behind in trot.

He has brilliant conformation and absolutely beautiful to look at.

He is a perfect field companion, turnout out with mares, colts, young stock. Easy to catch, he loves a pamper!

Hold his weight well and is a friendly lovely boy to have around.

Looking for a long term home where he can be loved and have a purpose for someone.

He is absolutely no different if he’s not ridden in a month and dragged in for a walk hack.

A fine late Georgian country house with a superb range of barns / outbuildings & cottages in an idyllic setting

PROPERTY SUMMARY

5,898 sq ft ( Main House)
5 Reception Rooms, Kitchen Breakfast Room / Orangery, Cellars, 6 Bedrooms, 5 Bath / Shower Rooms
Charming gardens, 3 immaculate 2 bed cottages, Model farm buildings with extensive equestrian facilities
Pasture & paddocks, about 34 acres.

Manor Farm is an incredibly rare opportunity, being one of the principal houses in this sought-after village. It is a most handsome country house built in the early 19th Century of Chilmark and Hurdcott stone under a tile roof. Complimented by a range of model Victorian farm buildings incorporating superb equestrian facilities. The fabulous kitchen / breakfast area has been en-larged with a superb Marston & Langinger orangery which creates a great space at the heart of the house.

The owner of Manor Farm was an early adopter of the then new PV technology in 2011 and the owners now lead a carbon-positive life. They use no fossil fuel for heating, lighting or hot water. Their PV arrays have been running for 15 years and generate enough electricity for all of their needs and then some, allowing them to export the excess to the Grid. The production of clean green electricity at Manor Farm saves an equivalent of some 500 tonnes of Carbon Dioxide per year, offsetting the owners’ carbon footprint to the point where they have a net carbon-positive footprint.

Danish warmblood X ISH

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I offer May for sale. I have owned her since she was just 10 months old, making this an extremely difficult decision. She has recently started her ridden career and has taken everything in her stride.

Due to work commitments, I can no longer give her the time, consistency and education that a young horse deserves. She is far too talented to stand in a field and deserves someone who can fulfil her potential.

May is a quality young mare with exceptional breeding and all the attributes to excel in any discipline. She is a kind, willing horse who enjoys her work and continues to gain confidence with every outing. She is still young and developing, making her an exciting prospect for someone looking to produce a horse their own way.

She is good to catch, groom, bathe, and is good for the farrier, dentist and vet. She turns out happily with others or individually and loads well.

As she’s only at the beginning of her ridden career, May is not suitable for a novice rider or handler. She is looking for a confident, knowledgeable home that understands young horses and can continue her education with patience and consistency.

May has a lovely temperament, enjoys attention and forms a strong bond with her person. She has all the ingredients to make a fantastic competition horse or quality all-rounder in the right hands.

She will leave with her tack and is up to date with vaccinations.

This sale is through absolutely no fault of her own. She will only be sold to a home where she will be loved and given every opportunity to reach her full potential.

Serious enquiries only.

16.3hh 9yo ISH Ladies Hunter

Lovely mare that schools beautifully, hacks out alone or in company, easy to load and travel, will stand on the box all day quietly. Fit and ready to go this season.

Hunted over hedges, rails, ditches with an amateur lady and experienced on the field. Jumps anything put in front of her bold as brass. Would be an excellent flashy & brave one for big hedge country.

She is low mileage for her age but has evented a season at BE90/100 level and spent this summer XC schooling & showjumping, she’s done on a ticket Foxhunter 1.20m and while registered up to Newcomers 1.10m, got all discovery DCS for next year. She can be green in the ring so no novices.

Lovely person to have on the yard and deal with day to day. Good to clip, shoe, catch, load, travel etc. Lives in or out. Forward going ride that likes a soft balanced rider.

Passed a 5 stage vetting when I bought her in Feb and has a good set of xrays. Only available at a bargain price as my other horse had surgery and I have a big vet bill to pay so I need to see her in her new home swiftly.

Absolutely gutting sale for me as I planned to hunt and team chase her this season. Would love to stay in touch.

• Plenty of ability over a fence, having both scope and bravery
• An ideal prospect for a smaller adult or younger rider to progress in any discipline

• Suitable for walking hacking
• Total gent

Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions.
